Imagine: Starring You and Patrick Dempsey

  Patrick Dempsey happens to be in Lewiston, Maine for a charity event for the weekend. You're not normally into that sort of thing but because Patrick's going to be there, you're hoping to get a chance to meet him. Well that and your job is requiring you to run a booth for one of the two days of the event. You chose to do it the first day, which is today, so that you can get it out of the way. You have this fantasy in your head that Patrick will waltz on over to your booth and somehow be interested to learn more about your business. The company you work for is so boring. Most people would rather be asleep than listen to a lecture about your company, but can you blame them? No you can't. 

   You have to run the booth for six hours, ugh. You hope the six hours will go by fast but knowing your luck, they'll drag beyond belief. You simply put on a fake smile and do your best to get through it. As the hours tick by, only two people have come over to your booth so far and both of them nearly left as fast as they came. You sigh to yourself and you're about to close up show when suddenly Patrick Dempsey himself is standing in front of you. You're in absolute shock. Your heart is pounding, your mind is racing, and you're struggling to breathe. 

   "Hi there, I've secretly been watching you for a couple of hours and I can tell how bored you are working for your company. How would you like to be my new personal assistant? My former personal assistant quit last week and I've been struggling to find someone to fill her spot." Your jaw drops and he chuckles at you. "Are you serious?" He nods. "I sure am. So what do you say, are you interested?" You nod your head up and down eagerly. "It would be an honor Patrick. When do I start?" He smiles that McDreamy smiles of his at you. "You start right after you quit your super boring job." 

    You grin at him and call your boss, or should you say your former boss, to tell him that you quit. He screams at you through the phone but you're too happy to care about the insults he's spewing at you. You're now your favorite actor's new personal assistant. The two of you could become good friends over time... possibly leading to something more in the future. You never know the future has in store. 

    "Patrick, I just quit my job and it feels pretty damn great." He grins. "I bet. What's your name by the way?" "Y/N." "Nice to meet you Y/N. I'm not going to have you work today because you've done enough of that but you'll start first thing tomorrow. Sounds fair?" You smile. "Sounds fair. I look forward to it Patrick or do you prefer Mr. Dempsey?" He flashes one more McDreamy smile. "Patrick is fine. Mr. Dempsey makes me sound twenty years older than I actually am." You giggle. "Listen Patrick, before I go home for the night, I have one favor to ask." He raises an eyebrow at you skeptically. "Sure, what is it?" You blush and bite your lip nervously. "Can we get a couple of pictures together?"

    Patrick wraps an arm around you. "Absolutely." The two of you pose for a couple of pictures before he asks for your phone so he can put his number into it. After all, your his new personal assistant so you're going to need to be able to get a hold of him. He even gives you his phone afterwards to put your number into as well. The exchange ends with a nice handshake with promises to see each other first thing in the morning. This is truly the start of something beautiful both for you and your future. You can't wait to tell your loved ones about this!
