It was yet a silent night at Anyang Art Park, not much people are around since it's already night.
The chirping of crickets filled the night's air. Lamp posts filled the place with light, enabling to see in the dark.

You were about the leave the park when you saw your best friend, Seokjin whom was sitting in a bench alone. You never knew he was there and decided to call him so he can seek your attention but seeing him with such heavy eyes means he's thinking about something. Or at least, sinking himself in deep thoughts.

You just decided to approach him and as you sat next to him, he noticed your presence.

"Oh, {y/n}!" He said shockingly unaware of your presence.

"Hello, Seokjin." You greeted.

"A-ah... hi." He greeted back and flashed out a thin smile.

"So, umm, what are you doing here this late at night?" You asked, looking at his face. His face looks smooth and soothing and seems to be calm.

"I was just thinking of myself. Thinking of how far I've gotten as an idol, or at least as a person who lives life with no worries." He chuckled.

"Well, you actually had gotten far. You even left me behind!" You teased and laughed.

"It all started when my mother's friends were bragging about their own sons, and I feel bad for my mom not able to brag anything. Like, she can't find anything about me to be proud of. And when I was a university student, I made a decision that change my life. I became an idol. Being an idol is hard. Being chased by fans, sleepless nights, exhausting mornings, hurtful rants, comments, it was horrible! Yet, I accepted it because I want my mother to be proud of me." Seokjin's eyes sparkled in the night, it was clear. "I sometimes feel underrated, left out but it's my choice and I have to live through it. But even though I've been enduring this for a long time, there was never a time I regretted choosing this path. ARMYs still continue to inspire me, keep me going at all costs." His eyes are teary eyed while looking at the people walking past the both of you. He wiped it all and looked at you with a smile.

"S-sorry. I just get emotional sometimes. I never expected so many people to be proud at me. I still see hates but it didn't matter at all. It stings but, who cares now? The most important thing to me right now, is the love I'm getting from everyone." Seokjin looked so inspirational. He was happy, he was contented with what he have right now. You can see it from his looks.

You embraced him tightly and he hugged you back.

"Seokjin-ah, I am happy that you are happy at your current state. A life of an idol is a burden. I've never felt it but, I just know it is. Everyone is proud of you. Always remember that."

Life is full of paths, one might lead you to your dream(s), one might change how your life runs, and of course, one can be misleading. Never forget why you chose that path. Just continue and live your life without worries.
