Joe:

I loved her, I really did. She was the most beautiful thing in the world. I couldnt help but stare into Afias eyes, I wish I could stare all day. Her lips, her skin, her everything was perfect, and yet I couldn't believe she was mine. My girlfriend of course but I wanted her to be more than that. Today I was going to put her to the test. If she really did love me, she would want to stay with me for all of eternity. Despite my deadly, dark secret. And if not... Then I might have to do something I would regret doing.

I trusted she would make the right choice. I trusted she would be as in love with me as I was with her. My music career couldn't get in the way of our love, her parents couldn't get in the way either.

I paced around my house, checking my watch impatiently. Afia was supposed to be here five minutes ago. I have to pop the question before the moon is at its highest, because that's when i have to hunt.

I heard footsteps on the pourch and made a dash for the door, swinging it open before she could even ring the doorbell.

"I know what your going to say, I'm late." She said with a note of sarcasm

That's another thing I loved about her. She was full of comebacks to anything I said, or anyone said really.

"Yeah well you are" I said, pinching her cheek as I stepped of the door, closing it behind me.

She blushed lightly as we made our way to my car.

"So... Where we going?" She asked quizingly as we pulled out of the drive way

"A date, and that's all that you have to know." I said with a smile

She just stared at me before looking away.

"Fine, but remember I have to-"

"You have to be home before midnight I know, or your roommate will get upset" I finished

I pulled into our favroite restaurant, the one where we met when she served the food at my table. JinJoo, Cole, Jack and I were celebrating when my caught on to her when she came to take our order.

"Ugh, your bringing me to work? I just came from here" she groaned

"too bad, come on" I said with a laugh, getting out of the car

We entered and were imediatly seated by the window, in the same table I had met her. We ordered and she didn't have to look at the menu because she knew it by the back of her hand.

We ate our food and talked about the plenty of good tines we've had here. Like the one time when I had coke around for coffee at 5am and she just happened to be working alone that night. From a normal conversation it turned into a make out session in the kitchen. Or the other time when she set up a surprise birthday party for me wishing me 24 years of age and yet I was actually 240!

"Alright love, ready to leave?" I asked as she finished up

She nodded and I put down the money on the table, taking her by the hand and leading her out of the reasturant. We got back into the car and I drove us to the park downtown where we had also shared more special memory's.

"What are you doing, dragging me down memory lane or something?" She asked as we pulled into the parking spot

"Maybe kitten, maybe" I chuckled lightly

I wanted her to remember all the special moments we had before I asked her to be mine forever. We strolled the park, talking about my band, about the big fuss the media made when I first announced Afia as my girlfriend and all the times Cole would pester us when we tried to be alone.

"I still don't think I got that glitter out of my hair" I said, my arm wrapped around my love

"Joe that was a year ago!" She laughed shaking her head

"Yeah but you can still find glitter in my hair" I groaned playfully

"Joe you shaved your hair" she said with an eye roll

I reached up and brushed my head, she was right I had shaved my hair just last week.

"Oh well" I said with a shrug

She laughed and suddenly stopped in her tracks as she looked forward, her eyes stuck on something.

"Love what's wrong?" I asked concerned

"Ice cream!" She shouted pointing in the direction of an ice cream cart

I laughed and she jumped onto my back, I ran after the cart for both of our sakes. I finally caught up with it and we ordered our ice cream cones, walking away happy and content. We continued to talk, sitting down on a bench and losing track of time.

I heard the bell chime signaling it was going to be midnight in several minutes. Afia suddenly snapped up, a look of worry washed over her face.

"Its late, I have to go" she said urgently, standing up with her bag

"Well w- wait several seconds please" i begged, grabbing her hand and standing up also

"Joe I have to go" she snapped urgently

"Please" I begged again, looking into her beautiful eyes

She tapped her foot impatiently and but her lip.

"Fine just hurry" she hissed, concern washed over her

"Thank you." I said calmly

"Afia, I've known you for a long time now, and we've been together for a long time. I love you and always will, so I want to ask you this question." I said, grabbing both of her hands and squeezing them tight

"Will you be mine for all of eternity?" I asked with hope

The look of worry was replaced with happyness as she smiled from ear to ear.

"Forever and always" she said with a smile

"Now Afia I must also tell you this. I have not always been honest with you-"

"Your a vampire, I know" she said with an eye roll

I stared at her... What.

"You know"I repeated, trying to be as calm as possible

"Yep. You wear that ring on your finger during the day to protect yourself from the sub, I have to wash some of your red stained clothes sometimes cause your careless. You always refuse to go out with me before and after a certain time but that's always been okay with me because I have to be home anyways" she explained, not one hint of fear on her face

"And how would you even notice these things?" I asked curiously

"There's something called The Vampires Diary's" she said with a laugh

I laughed along with her. She was mine. All mine. And she knew! She knew and she still loved me. Our eyes met for a moment before I grabbed her face and crashed ny lips onto hers.

If she was really a vampire expert then she knows what comes next. My kisses trailed down to her neck where I stayed before she said the key words.

"Do it"

And that's when I sunk in my teeth. Now she was all mine for all of eternity, and nothing could change that.
