Y/n Stark was a big public figure. She had graduated with Peter from Midtown a couple months ago, and much to her father's protest, she fights alongside the Avengers.

The shrapnel that her dad had in his chest, had managed to pass on to her, as one day, she had been minding her own business when a building full of expensive technology had fallen close to her and had thrown a piece of metal into her chest, just like her father.

She had the same electro-magnetic energy in her chest, helping her keep the shrapnel from knocking into her heart, and from that, she had built her own suit.

Just like her father's Iron Man suit.

Her's had a personal AI system, that was also named Karen, just like her boyfriend Peter's AI suit. It took her many months to get the systems right, changing the dimensions and the different thrusters for her suit, and after some help from her father, she was able to perfect her suit.

Most people called it Iron Woman. She didn't really like the name, and chose to just be called either Y/n Stark or her father's suit name.

5 months ago, her father had let her join the Avengers, Peter joining her and going on missions with them. She got to know each and every one of them, even being there and fighting alongside her dad when Steve and Tony disagreed over the United Nations contract. She was there when Peter was offered a new suit and he turned it down, which had made her happy. She was there when Tony fake proposed to Pepper and when they got "married." She was there when Steve broke the rest of his team out of the water prison.

Even though she had trained with the best, and had been watched and studied by her father, nothing could prepare her for the biggest fight of her life.

The fight against their own Hulk.

He had been controlled by Thanos, taking the form of the most angriest Bruce had ever been and had been going around, attacking New York and putting everyone in danger.

She was fighting, Captain America on her right, Black Widow on her left. Her thrusters were working, as Cap threw a piece of metal in the air and she shot a ray of light, towards it, throwing it directly at Bruce, who ducked and screamed with anger.

"We need to get him away from the city."

"Let's lead him to the bridge. Underoos cleared it."

Y/n rolled her eyes, at her father's nickname for her boyfriend. She turned, quickly looking around at the other Avengers trying to control Bruce and saw her boyfriend, swinging from building to building, nearing an angry Bruce as he activated his taser webs, linking them to Bruce and unleashing the electric shock. Bruce screamed out, feeling it through his veins, now getting more angrier and knocking Peter from the web, throwing him through a glass window.

"Karen, check for Peter."

"He's alive."

"Oh, thank god."

Y/n immediately had a plan, as she communicated with the rest of the Avengers, and getting the closest to Bruce.

"Hey, Banner, you want to play?"

Bruce screamed out, getting more angry by the second as he started chasing the young woman in her suit, who just propelled herself into the air using her thrusters, Bruce close behind. The rest of the Avengers were already at the bridge, watching the girl and a Hulk chase behind her, nearing closer and closer to the bridge.

"Kid, be careful. He's coming to your left."

She swerved, her body immediately moving to the right, as she avoided Bruce's hand, almost grabbing her leg. Her flight power propelled her forward, as she stopped right in front of the bridge, a building to her right and another one to her left.

Bruce, instead of heading straight for her, he headed to the building right next to her, throwing the building off to it's side, straight at Y/n.

She managed to duck the first few pieces of the debris, but then a bigger piece came at her, unexpectedly, and she was throwing right into the ocean.

"Y/n!"

The water came rushing out of nowhere, as she moved her body, the suit starting to push away nearby debris, as she was pushed deeper and deeper into the water.

She could still hear the Avengers fighting Bruce, her earpiece connected to theirs as she heard her father's voice and then Peter hyperventilating.

"Oh my god, I was right there, I could've helped her. Karen, scan the ocean for a heartbeat. Please, please, please, let there be a heartbeat."

She was gasping now, water entering her suit, as a large wire from the building was suddenly dropped onto her neck, pushing down from both sides and limiting her movement. She was stuck. Her arms were moving towards her neck, as she struggled to keep the water out of her mouth. Her arms, now wrapped around both sides of the wire, started pushing it up, away from her neck.

She was free. She could propel herself forward and out of the water.

Then, came the biggest piece of debris of all.

It crushed her, completely limiting her movement as more water poured into her suit, choking her and limiting her breathing.

"Peter!"

"Y/n! I'm coming down to get you, I promise!"

She couldn't say anything else, as water kept pouring into her mouth. She was no longer calm, but gasping for air every second. Her suit's AI noticed her change in heartbeat, as she alerted Peter and his own AI.

Peter, as soon as he got the message, he made a full scan of his suit, Karen adjusting it so it could withstand 5 minutes underwater until water would start pouring in. Thor, immediately looking at the distraught kid, nodded, telling him he would go with him.

Without another thought, Peter dived into the water, using Thor as a help as they were both swimming down towards the debris. Karen, his AI was guiding him, until they were on top of a big mountain of rubble.

"Karen?"

"She's underneath. Her heartbeat is beating increasingly fast."

"Thor, we have to hurry."

The god nodded, as he started lifting rubble and helped Peter lifting the debir from her body until her suit was visible. With the help of Thor, they grabbed her suit, pulling her up and out of the water, Thor flying them away from the battle.

Their feet on the ground, Peter removed his mask, kneeling down and pulling off her mask, her eyes closed and completely passed out. She wasn't breathing.

"Karen!"

"She's not breathing, Peter."

"I need to do CPR."

"It's too late, Peter."

"No! It's not too late! Karen, override her suit and open it. Now!"

Immediately, Y/n's suit opened, revealing her soaked clothes sticking to her figure, chest staying still as Peter opened his own suit and placed his hands on her chest, trying to revive her. Quickly trying to do CPR, he stopped, remembering something Y/n had told him when she was testing out her final update for her suit.

"Peter, do you want to see the new features I added to the suit?"

"Yeah!"

"If you were to, for example, be dead or something or your heart would stop, there's an override chip that your suit can hack into mine and when you activate it, it immediately sends a jolt through my body and restarts my heart."

"Does it work?"

"Uh, 99.99% of the time."

"Let's just hope it works when we need it to."

Peter put on y/n's suit again, and immediately overrides her commands, activating the chip.

Her body jolts forward, mask still off as she starts coughing up water, her chest contracting and expanding with every breath she took.

By now, he was alone with her, helping her get her breathing back and reassuring himself that she was okay.

Once she had stopped coughing up water, she looked up at Peter, eyes filled with tears as she took off the suit, before sitting up and wrapping her arms around Peter.

"Thank you."

"I wasn't just going to let you die when I knew I could save you."

"Did you override my suit?"

He nodded, face pressed into her neck as he started crying. Not from sadness or pain, but because she was alive. And he had managed to save her.

"Thank you, Peter."

"You're welcome, darling."

Her suit had reassured her that she was okay and her breathing was back to normal, but the only thing that let her know she was truly alive, was feeling Peter's body pressed up against hers, as their lips met for a passionate kiss.

He had saved her.
