THIRD PERSON
Tyler and Dylan took deep breaths, shaking their head to get out the small nerves as the camera's re-positioned themselves. They heard the rain kick in on the window behind them and the director sat in his chair, nodding as he made a rolling motion with his finger. Dylan watched the camera man nod, but as he began to say his line, his eyes wandered away, catching the gaze of someone he looked at quite a lot.
Y/N sat in her chair, smiling as she looked down to her book, her legs thrown over one of the arms of the chair she was sitting in. Dylan's eyes trained on her, watching how her left foot bounced up and down and her thumb was pressed against her lips as she read.
"Cut!"
Dylan jumped and his eyes widened, turning to look at Posey who was already looking to him with the same confused look.
"Dude, are you okay? You just stood in front of the camera, again." He pointed out. Dylan glanced back to Y/N, who still seemed immersed in her book, un-phased by the shouting from the camera men, as it was a normal thing around here.
"Dylan."
Dylan turned back to Tyler, who now had a growing smirk on his face. He furrowed his eyebrows, completely turning to face him now.
He shrugged. "What?"
Tyler scoffed, smacking the side of his arm. "You need to get this whole crush thing done, because I'm pretty sure we've spent at least three days on this scene."
Dylan scrunched up, playing innocent. "No, no- it's not that. I just- having a little trouble focusing lately."
Tyler rolled his eyes.
"Well, whatever it is, you might want to get this scene done because you are definitely going to have trouble focusing on the next shot."
Dylan became confused. Why would he?
Tyler noticed Dylan's features turn. "Did you get the email? They moved your guy's kiss scene to today!"
Dylan froze. Holy shit. He wasn't prepared. He hadn't thought about it, since the scene was supposed to be one of the last things they filmed. Why would they move it up? Why would they do that to him?
"Somebody's nervous..." Posey sang to Dylan, who snapped out of it and shoved his friend.
"I'm not nervous, I just- I hadn't exactly expected it."
Tyler sighed, screwing his eyes shut before he placed his hand on Dylan's back. "Look, I wasn't supposed to say anything, but God knows how long it will be before you find out on your own. See, Y/N likes you. A lot. She's been flirting so much, you two are practically your characters. Fighting around the bush, hoping the other will just confess-"
Dylan had blocked out everything right after Tyler uttered the words, Y/N likes you. It was like he wasn't even awake anymore. She did? How had he not noticed it? Was he really that oblivious?
"You're not even listening anymore, are you?"
Dylan shook his head, his gaze locked on Y/N. He watched the director nudge her, talking to her. She tore her gaze from her book, correcting her posture as she swung her legs back the right way. She smiled, laughed, and then nodded, before hopping out of her chair. She smoothed out her dress, and soon, looked up to meet Dylan's eyes. Both of them slightly jumped at the sudden eye contact, but Y/N gave the first smile, waving to him. Dylan, dazed, slowly raised his hand for a way as she walked away to hair and make up.
Tyler scoffed. "Absolutely whipped."

After finally getting the scene done, it was time. The kiss scene. Y/N nervously bounced her legs in the chair, catching the gaze of her best friend, Holland, next to her in the other makeup chair.
"Keep doing that, and I think you're leg might fall off." Holland chuckled. Y/N grew pink and stopped her leg, gripping her thighs instead.
"I know, it's just- I thought I could prepare over night, but I just kept thinking of all the things that could go wrong."
Holland turned to her. "Like what?"
"Well," She started. "We might mess up too many times, and he'll get tired of it, or me. Or, he might not think I'm a good kisser. Or- or-"
Holland's eyes widened, placing her hand on her shoulder. "Y/N, calm down. I promise, nothing like that would happen. I actually know for a fact, Dylan would never get tired of kissing you."
"What?" Y/N's eyebrows furrowed. Holland smiled, tilting her head.
"If you hadn't noticed, the only thing Dylan looks at besides the back of his own eyelids at night, is you. And even then, he probably still dreams about you."
Y/N sat still. "Are you sure?"
"Yes!" Holland couldn't help but laugh. "Y/N, if you do not go out there, and kiss the hell out of him, I'll be disappointed."
Y/N laughed along, turning back to face the mirror in front of her.
"Okay, Y/N, you ready?" She heard the voice of the director behind her. She took a deep breath and nodded, slipping out of the chair. She gave him a smile and walked back to the set, shaking her shoulders. Y/N took her spot on the prop couch, taking the magazine in her hands. She knew Dylan stood on the other side of the prop front door across from her, making her all the more nervous. She heard the fake rain on the window and instantly she went in acting mode, shutting off everything else.
"Go!"
She took a sigh, flipping her magazine with a nervous look as her character, Mallory. Mallory had been a long time crush of Stiles, who had only recently found it the dire time to tell her, because he was losing her to someone else. So, here he was, on her front porch in the rain, soaking.
The doorbell noise sounded and she looked up, furrowing her eyebrows at the door. Y/N stood up and walked over to it, throwing the door open with a nonchalant look. But she froze when she saw the drenched Stiles, heavily breathing and blinking as the water dripped from his eyelashes.
"Stiles-"
"I wouldn't."
She became even more confused, glancing to Stiles strangely. "You wouldn't what?"
"You said, yesterday, everyone keeps leaving me. I wouldn't." He shook his head, making water hit the carpet on the inside. "I would never leave you, Mal, okay? God, not even to save my own life. Leaving you isn't an option. I need you. I need you here for when Scott goes off and tries to save God-knows-who or when I'm trying to figure out a way to get rid of whatever decides to ruin our lives next! I just need you. And, a lot more than you think. Probably a lot more than I even know."
She stood speechless and dumbstruck, in awe that Stiles had confessed his feelings.
"And also, I-"
"I love you." She interrupted. Y/N jumped at the words she heard herself speak to Dylan, at how real they sounded.
Dylan stood still, silent. "You love me?"
She nodded quickly and, on que, jumped out to her porch. Her arms laced around Dylan's neck and as their faces drew closer, she became more and more nervous. Finally, she shut her eyes with bliss as their lips connected. She hummed in pleasure, and felt Dylan's wet arms pull her into his chest, wrapped around her back.
At this point, it wasn't Mallory and Stiles. It was Dylan and Y/N, completely. Their lips moved softly against the others, going on their own accord. Neither thought about listening for a "cut!" or anything. Lost in the kiss.
Breaking apart for air, was dreadful, but necessary. The two separated, barely opening their eyes to look at the other. Hot breaths hitting the other, staring as they both began to realize how much "acting" that was.
Even with the script, Dylan didn't need it for the rest of the scene. "I love you", he whispered.
Y/N grinned and licked her lips slowly. "I love you."
