I was currently outside waiting. Walking back and forth pacing their porch. Impatient. Restless. Scared. Hopeful. Oh, I was just a jumble of crappy emotions. I was just about to say screw it and walk in when I heard yelling. Oh no.

"What do you mean I'm too young Darry?!" I heard my boyfriend Pony yell. Oh no.

"He means, you're only 14! It's too young!" someone spoke and I heard something shatter. Immediately I ran in seeing the whole scene unfold in front of me.

"Pony, we don't want you to have a girlfriend" Darry spoke and I just shook my head.

"Why?" I asked raising a brow. I was sorta surprised he didn't blow when I told them about my current girlfriend.

"Well, I think you should focus on your school work. Not some girl. Plus, you're too young" he spoke and that's when I flipped.

"What do you mean I'm too young Darry?!" I yelled and Soda then flipped. Goddamn.

"He means, you're only 14! It's too young!" Soda spoke in a loud tone and I was about to blow. But, before I could Darry did and smashed his hand onto the table.

"We aren't going to let you just throw your life away for some broad!" he yelled as the table broke...he never ever EVER called a girl a broad...

"Oh. I get it" someone said in a hushed tone and I turned to see her. Sarah.

"Sarah wait!" I spoke turning to grab her hand but she shook her head.

"No Pony. No" she spoke and slipped off the promise ring I gave her. No.

She walked over grabbing and opening my cluthed fists. She laid the ring in my palm and close my hand.

"I love you. I'm sorry but family is more important. I can't go against your brothers because well, it's true I guess" she said softly and turned away. Walking out forever.

I looked at the scene in front of me. Pony's girl leaving him and a very very pissed off Darry. It was only when she left the house I knew it wasn't right...

"Pony" Darry spoke setting a hand on his shoulder. He only shrugged it off and turned to face us. Tears spilling from his eyes and down his cheeks.

"Pone" I spoke softly and he shook his head. Straight up bawling now.

"You don't understand! You don't understand how important she is to me! You don't understand what you have done!" Pony screamed at us. Tears pouring from his eyes.

"Ponyboy. She didn't love you. Let her go. You don't need her" Darry spoke and Pony flipped.

"I don't need her?! Look at you! Your girlfriend is a middle class! A Soc basically! You're telling me that I need to focus on my grades?! You don't know how much she's helped me get them up! You don't know how long I've known her for Darry!" He screamed and Darry then broke too.

"You're too young to understand love!" he yelled and Pony only chuckled.

"At least I didn't hit mine" he snapped and walked into our room slamming the door. A frozen look appeared on Darry's face as he sat on the chair. Frozen. Still. Scared. He looked up at me with tears in his eyes. Darry was crying.

"What have I done..." Darry spoke and I shook my head.

"I don't know. I don't know anymore Darry..." I spoke softly and Winter came storming out. An irritated look on her face.

"Who the hell is slamming and yelling?!" she screamed and Darry looked up at her tears streaming down his face. He knew he messed up.

Winter sighed and hugged him. He always had some sort of soft spot for Winter. After all, she is our only and younger sister.

"Soda, where's Pony?" she spoke and I shook my head.

"In our room. He's upset"

"Why?"

"His girlfriend" I said looking down and she nodded.

"What happened with Sarah?" she asked. Of course she knew.

"She left him" I said silently and she got up and away from both of us.

"You two freaked out on him didn't you?" she snapped and we nodded.

"You know, after mom and dad died she helped him not fall apart and be like me" she snapped getting angry.

"W-"

"No, listen!" she snapped cutting me off.

"She helped him survive this at such a young age! He was only a kid! Then when Johnny and Dallas died oh God how terrible that was but do you want to know how he got his grades up? Hmm?! Her! She helped him because she loves him and he loves her!" she snapped bitterly.

"Now, I know you're reluctant with Pone and I dating since we're younger but are you kidding me? You're older then me by five minutes and you almost married a cheater! And you Darry! You HIT your girlfriend! She tried killing herself you know but I told her not to and to give you time because you love her!" she snapped and we weren't shocked. We knew she could freak out on us but we didn't know how much an impact she had on Pony.

"You two are sick!" she spat. "I can't even look at you" she seethed and walked off.

I looked at Darry and he looked at me.

"I-I gotta go" he spoke and ran out. Probably to apologize to his girlfriend.

I sat there in Soda and my room. Crying. Hurting. I just wanted to disappear...

"Pony..." I heard a soft voice spoke and I looked up at the door seeing Winter.

"Go away" I choked out and she only walked in sitting next to me.

"Hey little brother, I just got done yelling at the two idiots outside. I swear, Two and Steve are more mature" she spoke and I laughed.

"That's funny Win" I smiled and she hugged me.

"Now, I know you love Sarah. Don't listen to Darry or Soda. Darry has his own issues and you know that" she spoke softly and I nodded.

"I know, he has Octavia to worry about...how is she?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Ponyboy" she warned and I sighed.

"Fine" I mumbled and she only let out a small chuckle.

"Nice try and she's okay. In a lot of pain but I emptied her house out of any dangerous things. Darry is probably on his way to her place now but that's a different topic. How about you? How are you?" she spoke and I sighed lightly.

"Sad" I spoke. That was the only word I could get out.

"Pony, talk to Sarah. She needs you. I bet you she's in the lot. You know how much meaning that lot has to her...after...you know who died" she said softly. It hurt her to say Dallas's and Johnny's name.

"It's okay Win. They're both happy up there and Dallas would want you to move on" I spoke and she nodded wiping a tear.

Her and Dallas were together and happy but they got in an argument and after Johnny died Dallas killed himself by cop because he didn't think he had anything to live for. It hurts her because she blames herself but it's not her fault. Neither is Johnny's death. She thinks that if she would've prevented Darry hurting me I never would've ran away with Johnny and Bob would still be alive and everyone would still be alive but it isn't her fault and I tell her that every day.

"Winter, how are you and Jax with Dallas?" I asked. Jax is her new boyfriend and she found out she was pregnant with Dally's kid. She named him after Dallas.

"Good. Now enough about me Pony. Stop changing the subject. Go talk to Sarah or so help me. I. Will. Drag. You. Out."

I only laughed and got up.

"Thank you Win. For everything" I smiled and she nodded.

As I went to the door she chuckled. "Pone" she spoke.

"Hmm?"

"You're gonna need this" she spoke holding up the promise ring I gave Sarah. I smiled.

"Thanks, Win. Really" I smiled grabbing it and she nodded.

"Yeah yeah, now go" she said pushing me out and I nodded with a smile.

I'm coming Sarah.

I was sitting in the lot crying. I missed him. I left him...I still loved him...

"Sare?" someone spoke but I already knew who it was. It was Pony.

"Go away Pony. I don't love you!" I snapped and he just sat down next to me. I tried so hard not to look at him because I knew if I did I would fall in love again...like I do every. Single. Day.

"Sare, I love you. So so much. I don't give a damn what Soda or Darry say. I love you. You're mine and mine only. No one else's. You'll always be mine whether you like it or not s-"

I kissed him. I just smashed my lips onto his. I didn't care about his words because I love him and I know he loves me.

Once we pulled away he grabbed my hand and slipped the ring onto my finger again.

"I promise to always be with you. From death and then on. Now and always. Forever and always. I love you, Sarah. So much" he spoke looking into my eyes. It was like he was staring right into my soul. Either way, even if he did or didn't from a distance I saw them. Dallas and Johnny. The other two who knew about me and Pony. Dallas, Johnny, and Winter. Both just gave me a smile. As if to tell me they were watching. They are watching. Now and always. Forever and always.

"I love you, Ponyboy Michael Curtis"
