JACOB BLACK
I laid there playing with Laila's hair as I watched her cuddled up close to me. Her face was buried into my chest and her arms were wrapped around my torso. She made me smile. She made me happy. A different happy. A good happy.

And you know, what makes it better is this is our one year anniversary. The one full year she actually stayed with me. It's something I really couldn't believe. It was odd. Really odd. And odd thing how I seriously got so lucky with the most beautiful, talented, smart girl I know.

Suddenly, I saw as she turned some and that's when I saw her eyes flutter open making me smile as I saw her beautiful chocolate brown eyes that I fell in love with. And her silky smooth brown hair that drove me wild. She drove me wild and I love her for that. Only she could drive me crazy yet I could only love unconditionally.

"Morning baby doll" I whispered in this raspy voice that I knew she loved and after I said it and she heard it her cheeks flushed into a deep pink making me smile at how gorgeous she is.

"Only you could make me blush this early in the morning" she giggled making my smile deepen. Everything she did I loved. So much.

"Because I love you baby doll and well, today is a special day after all" I grinned as suddenly her face fell which tuned my mood around quickly as panic rose through me. What was wrong...what was wrong...what was wrong?!

"Laila?" I spoke softly to see her expression change into a sad one as tears streamed down her face.

Quickly I cupped her cheeks as I lightly wiped away her tears. Please don't let her leave me...please be something different. God. Multiple different scenarios ran through my head. Maybe she was breaking up with me. Maybe she was leaving me for someone else. Maybe she's not happy...God. What did I do...

"Baby doll, what's wrong?" I spoke softly as my voice broke too. I was afraid. Scared. And while I was freaking out she was quiet. Too quiet.

"L-Laila. A-are you leaving me..." I trailed off as a tear streamed down my cheek. Instantly she sat up onto my lap as she wiped the tear and kissed me. I kissed back.

My hands soon reached down to her waist as her arm wrapped around my neck as I pulled her closer to me not wanting this to end. Sadly, after a while, she pulled away making my face fall

"Laila..." I whispered and she looked at me shaking her head.

"Jake, I'm not leaving you and I hope you aren't leaving me...I just forgot...today" she whispered and looked away as if I might leave her for it. Why would I leave her?

"Baby doll, I'm not leaving you. It's okay. I promise. Okay?" I whispered and she nodded as she hugged me close and tightly as my face brightened. She made me happy and will forever make me happy. And well, every single moment with her might be my last so I'm going to make the most of it. For her.

LAILA WOODS
I sat there laying my head onto his shoulder as he gently rubbed my back. He truly made me happy and I didn't know what I would do without him.

"Baby doll" he spoke softly making me nuzzle up into him more.

"Hmm?" I hummed softly as my tears were now gone.

"Get dressed. I'm taking you somewhere" he spoke as I could sense the smile spread across his face by the tone of his voice. I was sort of scared but also anxious. God. I hated surprises.

JACOB BLACK
I smiled as she pulled away changing into black pants and a t-shirt. It was simple yet she couldn't be more beautiful.

"Take a picture why don't you. It'll last longer" she giggled making my smile deepen. She was truly beautiful in more ways than she can imagine.

"Maybe it will but then again, it's better to see the real thing" I winked as suddenly she blushed. It was real cute.

"You're an idiot" she mumbled looking away as gently I lifted her head up to see her blush making me smile.

"Beautiful" I grinned pecking her lips as I pulled away. The blush on her cheeks only deepened making this day better. But, despite what I could do simply from words there's the surprise I have planned inside my head which only made me grin even more. I sat there with the anticipation hidden behind my smile as I couldn't wait for the expression on her face later on.

LAILA WOODS
As the day went on I spent time with Jake but soon enough he had this happy look on his face. It sort of...worried me. I watched as suddenly he pulled me into a hug.

"Baby doll, put in the blindfold" he suddenly spoke making me raise a brow in confusion.

"Umm, I'm not into that stuff Jake" I spoke making him laugh and that only made me even more confused.

"Laila, it's for a surprise" he smiled and I sighed with a nod as I slipped on the blindfold but once I did that I felt a slap on my ass.

"Jacob Black!" I yelped making him laugh.

"Come on baby doll. Let's go" he spoke and suddenly we were on our way to God knows where.

JACOB BLACK
I smiled while guiding Laila to the beach. I was going to ask her to marry me. I knew she loved the beach but also loved cliff jumping. Both were good but I chose the beach over the cliffs of course.

Once we got there I stood her by the tides as it hit her bare feet making her inhale deeply.

"We're at the beach" she spoke making me smile.

"Yes, baby doll, we are" I spoke as I saw the look on her face turn into a more confused one. Well, from what I could see from her face.

"Why are we here and can I take this off now?" she asked with a small pout making me smile.

"Not yet baby doll" I spoke as she sighed with a pout.

I smiled and suddenly got down onto one knee as I pulled out the small black box opening it. I looked up at her with a smile as I forever wanted her in my life.

"Take it off baby doll"

"Take it off baby doll" he spoke as I took off the blindfold. Stupidly I looked around but couldn't see him. Where did he go?

After I looked around I looked down to see him on his knees with a ring in his hands that immediately made me cry. Oh my God. This can't be happening.

"Laila, I fell in love with you the day I first laid my eyes on you. And from then I just fell in love with you more and more. Without you, there is no me and you showed me how to love and let someone in again. I love you with nothing more than anything and you are my world my all my everything. What I'm saying is, will you marry me baby doll" he smiled and instantly I nodded as tears streamed down my face. Shakily I took the ring slipping it onto my finger as he got up and kissed me. I smile kissing back as both of us melted into it.

He was mine and I was his. And I loved every moment of it.
