Summary: You slip him a love potion...
QOTP: What is that mysterious ticking noise?
Word Count: 1429
It's late, tomorrow you can go to Hogsmeade, and it's the perfect time to sneak into the Room of Requirement for a sleepover. You, Hermione, Luna, and Ginny are bundled up in a bunch of blankets, sitting on beanbag chairs, and eating all the food you got from the kitchens. Ginny suggested playing truth or dare fifteen minutes ago, and the game is slowly getting more interesting.
"Luna," Hermione says. "Truth or dare?"
She thinks for a second. "Truth."
"Do you like Dean Thomas?"
Her brows furrow and she pauses. "... No, I don't think so. Just as a friend." Then, she asks Ginny what her favorite flower is, in typical, wonderful Luna fashion.
After answering, Ginny turns to you. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare." That's a bad idea.
"I dare you to slip every boy we know a love potion."
There's a long pause. "You want me to what?"
"Slip all the boys a love potion."
"Why? And when?"
"Just 'cause. And I wouldn't give it to them all at the same time."
"I knew I should've said truth with you..." You sigh. "Hermione. Truth or dare?"
////
It was definitely difficult to brew the potion; you made Ginny help you, but it still took you all weekend. Then, you divided the brew into small vials, one for each boy. You convinced Ginny to let you not slip some boys the potion considering you don't have enough for everyone.
You ruled out Lee because you don't know him that well, Dean and Seamus because they're like your brothers, and Neville because you'd feel too guilty.
She was very reluctant, but agreed.
Draco -
You managed to sneak it into his drink at breakfast.
It's fifteen minutes later when you feel arms around you. "Hello, love!"
You turn as best as you can and see Draco smiling at you and fight back a laugh. "Hey, Draco."
He looks dazed - high, even. "How are you this morning? Did you sleep well? I-"
"Mister Malfoy," you hear. It's McGonagall. "No PDA, please."
"I'm terribly sorry, Professor, but I'm afraid I'm too in love to let go."
It's at that moment she realizes something's wrong. "Let's get you to Madame Pomfrey."
You have to tell him to go with her to get him to let go, but Blaise still has to step up and carry him out of the Great Hall.
"I'll see you soon, my love!"
Ginny smirks. "Well, aren't you two adorable."
Fred -
Once Draco's gone, you decide it's time to slip some potion to Fred if you're going to get all of this over with in one day.
All of them are probably going to get into a fight to the death over you, but at least you'll feel special.
The potion starts working as you're walking to class.
"Y/N!" Fred calls, running away from George.
This potion must be powerful to get him to willingly walk away from George, you think as he reaches you.
"Y/N!" he says again, kissing you without warning. You blush when he pulls away, speechless. Meanwhile, Ginny is cackling.
Fred ignores her. "I've missed you. I know I just saw you at breakfast, but I really can't bear to be away from you."
You're still dazed and embarrassed. "Th-That's nice, Fred, but I have to go to Charms."
"Geez, Fred, I knew you liked her, but you didn't have to snog her in the middle of the hallway," George says. In the midst of your embarrassment, you didn't notice him catch up.
You start to walk away, wanting to be anywhere else, but Fred freaks. "Where are you going?"
"Charms."
"We have to get to class, Fred," George says, becoming increasingly concerned by the second.
Fred firmly shakes his head. "I'm going with Y/N."
"No," George replies, "you're going to Madame Pomfrey. Something isn't right. See you later, Y/N."
As he drags Fred away, Ginny sighs. "Oh, he doesn't know the half of it."
George -
You find him after Charms, a glass of pumpkin juice in your hands that you got from the kitchens.
We all already know what's in it.
"Hey, George. How's Fred?" you ask.
George sighs, running a hand through his hair. "He wouldn't stop talking about you, and when I brought him to Madame Pomfrey, I heard somebody else raving about a girl, too. I think it was Draco. Something weird is going on."
"That's awful," you say. Then you hold out the glass, feeling guilty seeing how worried he is. "Well, I got this for you. Figured you'd need something after carrying Fred all the way to the hospital wing."
George smiles a little. "Thanks, Y/N." It doesn't take long for him cling to you like a sloth to a branch. "You smell nice today."
"Th-"
"You smell nice all the time."
"Thanks, George, but I need to get to class." This is too awkward to bear; you can't take it anymore and it hasn't even been a full minute.
Plus you have Potions next.
"You can't leave me," George says, incredulous. "Let's skip class. We can go snog by the Black Lake."
You blanch, spluttering, but can't reply because Flitwick overheard what he said. "You two - to class!"
"But Professor," George complains.
"Go to class!" Flitwick repeats. You look at him helplessly; George won't let you go. Flitwick runs over and starts pulling George, who protests loudly.
McGonagall comes down the corridor and pries him off of you. "Go to class, Miss (Y/L/N). I'm afraid George is going to be joining his brother."
You're so gonna get back at Ginny for this.
Harry -
At the beginning of lunch, you snuck it into his drink, and he's been clinging to you ever since.
"You smell nice," he says off-handedly,
Your brows furrow. "That's funny. George said the same thing."
Harry bristles. "George said what?"
"Nothing," you reply quickly. "He didn't say anything. George never even speaks."
Harry seems to be okay with this answer because he goes back to his docile, lovey-dovey state. After a few minutes, Ginny stands. "Alright, Harry, you're going to Madame Pomfrey."
"I'm what?" he asks. You're just as confused as he is for a few seconds, but then you realize.
"You'd better go with Ginny, Harry," you say. He starts to protest. "Please?" you ask sweetly. "For me?"
"Anything for you," he says, practically running out of the Great Hall, Ginny on his heels.
Ron -
"That was weird," Ron says, watching Harry run off. You take this opportunity to pour love potion in his drink.
"Very," you reply.
Ron takes a drink and looks back at you, and you see his eyes change into that dazed, high look that everyone else had on their face. "You have beautiful eyes," he says.
You don't notice, but Hermione is watching, a tad upset.
"Thanks, Ron," you say. Ron wraps his arms around you, his plate of food forgotten, once again proving just how powerful this stuff really is.
Neville is very confused. "What's been going on today? First Draco, then Fred, then George, then Harry, and now Ron."
"She's been slipping them all love potions," Hermione mutters.
You look over at her. "If you like Ron, why didn't you just say so?"
"I don't!" she shouts. "I just think what you're doing is very wrong."
"Ginny dared me to!"
"You could've said no!"
Ron is completely oblivious to all of this, but McGonagall hears your shouts and heads over, pulling Ron off of you. "Miss Granger, would you mind taking Mister Weasley to the hospital wing? I think Miss Y/L/N and I need to have a chat with the Headmaster."
You immediately mentioned Ginny, who was sent for, and then you both explained everything. Dumbledore took you both to the hospital wing and tried very hard to hold back a laugh as the boys noticed you and started scrambling to get out of their beds to run to you. When they realized they all were in love with you, they started yelling at each other. Madame Pomfrey forced you out.
Dumbledore found the situation so funny you didn't get expelled, but you had detention and lost Hogsmeade privileges for the rest of the year.
Ginny still said it was worth it, but you had to work pretty hard to get back in the boys' good graces.
One boy was suspicious that the effects hadn't entirely wore off...
