Summary: You get kidnapped by angels who are after Castiel.

QOTP: Dean and Daphne or Sam and Velma?

Word Count: 1496

You've known Sam and Dean Winchester since you were kids, and when your parents died fighting a wraith, you started hunting with them.

A year later, Dean went to Hell.

And Castiel pulled him out.

You were interested in him immediately, and you quickly took a liking to him due to how clueless, and therefore cute, he was. That was another thing that confused him, but he couldn't say he didn't like you, too. In an infatuated sort of way.

Through the ups and many downs (deaths, etc.), you and Cas were always close. You've always been close with Sam and Dean, but this was different.

Way different.

You'd liked Cas for a while, and Sam and Dean knew. They teased you about it a lot, but also told you to tell him how you felt. You refused, but then Cas and Dean got stuck in Purgatory.

The second you saw Cas after he got out, you didn't even think; you kissed him.

And he kissed back.

Two years later, you have Metaron problems.

You're not entirely clear on what he wants, and you haven't seen him in a while, but you know something's up.

Now, you're on a hunt, still trying to figure out exactly what the monster is. Sam sends you and Dean out on a food run.

"I wanted to take a nap," Dean complains.

"If you'd let me drive Baby, you could stay here-"

"No." When you make it to the fast food restaurant, Dean parks the car. "You go in and order; I'm staying in the car."

You look at him incredulously for a few moments. "Are you serious?"

He leans back in the seat. "Yep."

You sigh and get out of the car and round the corner, heading for the front doors and trying to remember if Dean wanted tomato on his burger.

Then, someone grabs you from behind, their arm wrapping around your waist. Their free hand closes over your mouth as they drag you around the back of the building. They let you go, only to punch you in the face until you're out cold.

"Sam, Y/N is gone," Dean says over the phone, driving like a maniac back to the motel. "I'm coming to get you, get everything packed up."

"What happened?" Sam asks, rushing to pack everything up.

"I don't know, but she's gone. I'm gonna call Cas."

Cas shows up before Dean can even finish his sentence. "Where is she? What happened?"

"That's the problem, Cas," Dean says, glancing at him in the rearview mirror and pulling into the motel parking lot. "She's gone."

Cas goes silent as Sam runs out of the room and throws three duffel bags in the back, not noticing Cas at first. Cas just lets them hit him, trying to figure out what happened.

Dean pulls out of the parking lot and races back to the restaurant.

////

You come to in an unfamiliar, decrepit warehouse. You're tied to a chair by your arms and legs, and your head is throbbing. You're also praying that Dean still isn't that parking lot, waiting on you. Who knows how long you've been gone.

After sitting a moment in silence, you decide to pray to Cas, just to be safe; Sam and Dean might not know you're in trouble.

"Cas. Someone... kidnapped me. I don't know who or why. I'm in a warehouse. I don't know where. Find me. Please."

A few moments later, you hear a door open and shut behind you, then footsteps. Then, a man steps into your field of vision.

Metatron.

He smiles. "Oh, good, you're awake."

"What do you want?" you snap, pulling on your restraints.

Metatron sighs. "I want Castiel - I need his help with something. The problem is, I can't find him. He's not with you or the Winchesters... No, he's gone. I had to lure him out somehow, and he seems especially fond of you."

"He's not stupid. He's going to know it's a trap," you say.

"I know. But he'll come anyway; he'd do anything to save you." He says the last part in a sing-song tone, causing you to pull at your restraints again, wanting to knock his lights out. He only laughs. "Well, I'm gonna head out. You can go ahead and pray to him, if you want. Or don't. Either way, he's coming; I left a clue."

You jerk on your restraints again as he walks out and sigh. "Cas," you think, "don't come. It's Metatron. It's a trap. Please don't come."

////

Cas jumps out of the car, running around the building, Sam and Dean on his heels. "Where did she disappear?" he asks frantically.

Dean stops, spotting your switchblade - your father's switchblade - on the ground. He runs over and picks it up, showing it to Cas and Sam.

Cas suddenly stops, looking down, his expression appearing as if he's focusing on something else. Then, he looks back up at Sam and Dean. "Y/N just prayed to me."

"What did she say?" Sam asks.

Cas shakes his head. "She's in a warehouse, she doesn't know where. I can't find her; wherever she is must be warded."

"Well, it's gotta be close. Whoever took her couldn't've gotten far in so little time," Sam says. He pulls out his phone. "I'll look for warehouses in the area."

Sam finds three within 100 miles, only one being abandoned. Dean starts heading back to the car. "We go there first."

Halfway there, Cas says, "She prayed to me again. She said it's Metatron and it's a trap. She also asked me not to come."

Dean sighs. "Tough luck. We're not leaving her."

"I know," Cas says. "Drive faster."

////

Metatron comes back in ten minutes later, eating the last bites of a sandwich. He wipes his hands on his pants and pulls a small knife out of his pocket. "They should be here soon. Might as well have some fun."

You pull on your restraints again, but Metatron barely makes it any closer to you when you hear the door thrown open.

"Metatron!" Cas yells. You try to turn around, but you can't see him.

Metatron laughs. "Castiel! Just the man I wanted to see."

"Let her go," Cas says.

Metatron puts the knife to your throat. "Wouldn't you like that?"

"What do you want?" Cas asks.

"I need your help with something, Castiel."

"Okay. Whatever you want. Just let her go."

"Cas, no!" you shout. "Get out of here! I told you not to come!"

"I am not leaving you here with him," Cas says. You can hear him walk closer.

Metatron, his guard lowered, brings his free hand to his heart. "Ouch."

"I agreed to help you," Cas says. "Let her go."

"Drop your angel blade on the floor."

Cas does, kicking it over to the other side of the room. Metatron stands, taking the knife away from your throat. Sam and Dean burst through the door, and Dean shoots Metatron in the chest, which, of course, doesn't kill him.

Sam has his own angel blade and Dean runs over to grab Cas's. Cas punches Metatron, who backs up and runs for the door. While Sam and Dean chase after him, Cas unties you.

"Are you okay?" he asks, starting at the restraints on your ankles.

"I'm fine. Just a headache." Cas stops untying you and reaches up, gently touching your forehead. A moment later, your headache is gone. You smile. "Thanks, Cas."

By the time he's untying your hands, Sam and Dean run back in, looking upset. Dean sighs. "Metatron's gone. We lost him."

You rub your wrists and stand, Cas putting an arm around you. Wrapping your arms around his waist, you shrug. "Oh, well. We'll get him eventually."

"And until we do, I'm staying with you," Cas says. "I'm not letting this happen again."

Dean runs a hand through his hair. "Then you two love birds can go back to the bunker. Sam and I will finish up here."

"Dean-" you start, but Cas teleports to the bunker before you can say anything else. You look up at him, about to protest, but he walks off. "I'm going to put up angel warding. You go get some rest."

Instead, you go to the kitchen. "I'm getting a snack first, and then you have to come to bed with me. If I have to sit out on a hunt, that's the very least you can do."

Cas looks back at you. "I was planning on doing that, anyway. I told you I'm staying with you until we kill Metatron."

"Whatever it takes for you to cuddle with me," you half mumble, opening the fridge.
