Is It?
An-I do not own the photo above.
(NOT EDITED)
When you run in the open air after leaving a constricting house, you go straight sprinting out of breath. You watch as all the scenery does past, trees and plants blurring together with the sun light as well as the wood with the darkness and plant life.
Your breath quickens and becomes hard to even take a breath. The path seems to narrow, constricting you to the destined path you choose to the lake.
Quickly the forest darkens closing in on your path as the assailant is on your tail.
Then suddenly, as if planning this all along your body gives up on you, pain covering every spec on your body only a foot away from the shimmering lakeside.
Trying to breathe, blink, stay still, anything burns your form with stabbing, adrenaline escaping the weak grasp unveiling everything as you struggle to go on in this never ending pain while seeing the moon above.
Your vision slowly fades away black in the edge of your vision, your figure breaking under, the pressure, giving up but fighting to keep going.
The pain bursts even more with everything small action you take, barely hearing the leaves crunch around you.
A figure comes into your vision, leaning down to your shaking form, though even that causes pain. It's the main event that holds your attention, the pain that with each attempt to speak a word becomes worse.
The black dots on the edges have covered most of your vision, taking it over as all you can hear is you breathing, the pounding of your own pulse.
The last thing you could see was the shine of eyes, a green shine left from the dim light of the moon, and then no more. The pain seems to slowly fade as your breathing slowly settles.
And all you can think is
"Was this all Real?"
What happened? Did it happen? What lead to this? Why?
