Please enjoy, this one shot, which is about the friendship, between Arwen and her best friend Terethiel. 

Terethiel's Point of view

"Nana, when are you all going to be downstairs?"I asked as I yelled."We'll be downstairs soon"She replied as she yelled back.

I walked around aimlessly, because I had nothing, else to do while I waited for them. I just want to leave now, I thought indignantly, as stomped my foot, onto the ground, hoping that it would bring my parents here faster. However, as a few minutes, had gone by, I quickly realized that my plan didn't work. I sighed as I walked, around some more, until I sat on the floor. What can I do, while I'm waiting for them?, I internally inquired, as played with with my brown curls. Then it hit me.

 I could go outside, and play with the horses!, I thought with smile.Before, I did anything, I had to tell my nana."Nana, I'm going outside!"I said."Alright lelig, make sure you don't go too far"She yelled back."Don't worry I won't!"I replied yelling back.

 So, I got up from my position, and ran to the door. I stood on my tippy toes, so could reach the door. Once, my hand was on the handle, I pulled the door open."Success!"I said softly, as I closed the door, and made my way over to the stables. I stood in front, of the horses, who were currently eating hay. Nice. I thought as I watched them, in hopes that they, would notice my existence. Luckily, Nionwen, had finished her meal, and proceeded to look me in the eyes. Nionwen is a foal, with a shiny ebony colored coat. She belongs to my nana.

 I held out my small hand, because I wanted, to stroke her nozzle, but I am too short to do so. She seemed to know this, because then she lowered, her forhead so that her muzzle was in contact with my hand. I giggled, and said, Nionwen that tickles. I moved my hand, up and down, her nozzle which caused her to neigh. Then she started, to nuzzle me, and I started laughing so hard. Once I stopped, laughing, the horse next door, started to neigh, so I walked over, and tried to calm it down. That's ada's horse Iondir. Iondir is a stallion, with a cocoa colored, coat which made him look pretty.

"Iondir look at me"I said to him, which caused him, to look right at me. He still neighed and then, started to buck and rear. That scared me, but I stayed put, in hopes of helping him chill."You are going to be fine, Iondir"I said with soft smile."I don't really know, why you're like this, because I don't know much about horses"I said honestly."But, I am sure, you're just nervous, or scared and that's perfectly normal"I said, in hopes of reassuring him.

"You don't, have to be afraid, because I'm here with you!"I said smiling as I stood proudly. This seemed to have worked, because by the time, I had finished speaking, Iondir was completely, silent and motionless, until he nuzzled me, which made me giggle. Once, he had stopped, nuzzling me I gently stroked his muzzle. While, I stroked his muzzle, I started thinking.

I could let them out, so that when my parents, come out we can just leave, I thought as jumped up and down. As I quickly, as I could I pulled, these latches so the doors opened. Then, Nionwen and Iondir, exited their stalls, and proceeded to walk behind me."Alright, y'all let's go"I said as ran forward, to make my exit, with the horses close behind me. Once, we were in front, of my house they stopped, and I just collapsed onto the soft grass. That was a lot of running, I thought as looked, at the blue sky and started breathing slowly. Then I heard, a door open and close, so I sat up is quickly as possible. 

 My parents, walked over to me,a nd then my ada picked me up."Lelig, are you alright?"Ada asked me in a worried tone."Ada, I'm fine, just a bit tired from running"I said as I looked up at him. He nodded, and said,"Good". Then we went, over to the horses, and my ada set me on his horse, before he got on. I watched my nana, get on her horse and then we were finally ready to go."Are you ready, to see Arwen?"He asked me. I nodded vigorously, which made him laugh.

"Alright, then well let's go"My nana said. Before I knew it, Nionwen and Iondir, were galloping away from our house, to another part of Rivendell. I'll be there soon Arwen, I thought as I felt the wind on face.

A few moments later

 We had finally, arrived at our destination, and that made me really happy."We're here!"I yelled with glee, as the horse had stopped, behind the statues and in the circular area. My parents got off their horses, and then my ada picked me u,  and set me on the ground."Someone is excited"Nana said to me, as she walked, on the opposite side, of me so that I was in the middle."I am excited!"I said with pride, which caused both of my parents to laugh. "Oh Terethiel"My nana said as she bent down, to kiss my head. 

 "Well, I am happy to know, that you all are in high spirits"An elleth in a purple dress, said as she smiled at us. I gasped, because I know who she is."Alonstiel"I said as I ran towards her, and hugged her legs."Hello Terra"She said looking down at me."Hi, Alonstiel"I said returnning the smile, which made her laugh."Hiril vuin, Eruira and  Hir vun Faeron, my name is Alonstiel Rhuilond"She said as she bowed."Allow us, to introduce ourselves"An elleth with the long gray hair. She reminds me of Rapunzel, I thought.

"My name, is Faeliel Augdirial"She said with a curtsy. Another elleth, with the yellow dress, had curtsied said,"My name is, Anwen Felendelen". Her singles are on point, I thought as looked at her, and slightly nodded. Then the other elleth, in the gray dress curtsied, and said"My name is Tireliel Gwaelon". Finally, the last elleth, in the pink dress curtsied and said,"And name is Mintelae Vanvathar".

My ada nodded and said,"Le fael, for introducing yourselves". My nana said,"It makes us feel really welcome". Anwen smiled and said, No problem". "If you would follow us, we will take you to Lord Elrond"Mintelae said."Alright then, we shall follow you"Nana said as she nodded. I unhooked myself, from Alonstiel and walked over to Mintelae. I tugged on her dress, and said"Mint mint". She looked down at me and replied, "Yes little one?". Wow, I didn't think, I would get this far, I thought as I looked down, so I could think about, what I wanted to ask her. 

 Then I looked back up at her, and asked,"When we go upstairs, will I see Arwen?". She nodded, and then I ran over to nana, as I said, Nana, I am going to see Arwen!". She scooped me up, and said,"You are?". I nodded and excitedly said,"Yeah!". She laughed and said,"Let's follow them, so you can see her". "Yay!"I said as everyone, began making their way up the stairs. I am coming for you mellon, I thought with a smile, as we continued, to go up the stairs.

Arwen's Point of View.

I tugged at my dress and sighed, and then I meandered, over to my father."Ada, when are they, going to get here?!"I asked in an exasperated tone."They'll be here soon, lelig just calm down"He replied as he patted my head. But how soon?, I thought with sigh as I closed my eyes. When I reopened them, I saw the group of elleths. They all curtsied, and Faeliel apologized as she said,"Sorry for the wait Hir Vun". "You don't, need to apologize Faeliel"He said. She nodded and said,"Well, we will leave, right now to get, the food that we prepared". Then they all bowed again and then left. 

  Then, as I continued to look, straight I saw my best friend and her family. "Terethiel!"I said as I squealed."Arwen!"She replied, with the same amount of enthusiasm. Her nana put her down, and then we ran, into each other's arms and hugged."I missed you Arwen"She said softly."Same here"I replied in the same soft tone. When we finally pulled apart, we just looked at each other grinned."You all forever, to get here!". Terethiel nodded and said,"Yeah, but at least I'm here now". I nodded in agreement and replied,"That's true". 

"Terethiel, do you want to, race me to that tree over there"I asked here. She was silent, for a moment because she was thinking. Luckily, it didn't last too long, because she had finally made a decision."I'd love to race you!"She said with a smile, which made me really happy."Three, two one... go"I shouted and then, we both ran towards the tree. Usually, I always win these races, but this time I decided today, that things would be different. So, I slowed down, and I let her pass me.

 "I finally won!"She said with glee, as she jumped up and down. I smiled and said,"You did win". Since, we were both, tired out from running, we quickly sat ourselves, down on the soft grass and flowers."So, what should we do now?"She inquired as she looked at me."Let's just, sit here for a bit"I said. She nodded, and then we just sat in silence. However, it didn't last very long. 

"Arwen look what I found!"Terethiel said with excitement. I turned to her, and then I gasped."What is that?"I asked as I looked, down at the small animal."It's a pudú!"She replied with a grin."Wow, that's so cool"I replied as I looked, at the pudú in awe. This is the most, adorable thing that I have ever seen, I thought as I looked at the little critter. "Terethiel and Arwen, it's time to eat!"Ada yelled. After ada yelled, two elleths had walked, over two us, and scooped us up. Then they walked, over to the set up tables, and set us down.

"Le fael"We said unison, as we looked up at Faeliel and Mintelae. They laughed softly, and replied,"You are most welcome". Then they walked over, to some seats with gilded harps in front of them. Then they sat down, and started to play along, with some other elleths and ellons."So, what did you all do?"Eruira asked us."We raced to the tree, but when we got there, we were really tired so we just sat on the soft grass"I said. Then Terethiel said,"While we were sat on the grass, I discovered a pudú, and then we pet it together". Her nana nodded and said,"You two, seemed to have fun". 

 Then Terethiel and me, walked over to a small, table and sat down in the chairs."Wow, there's table just for us!"Terethiel said in a surprised tone."I know right?!"I said looked at the table. Then two ellons, came over and brought out our food. Before they left, to serve our parents, we said in unison, Thank you". They bowed and said,"You are most welcome". I looked, down at my plate, to check out the selection. My plate had salad, bread, and pre-cut boneless fish. I knew it was boneless, because my ada told the people, who made the fish, to take out the bones, so I didn't choke on the bones.

 "Are you going, to keep staring, at the food or going we going to eat?"She asked me. I answered her question, by saying,"Yes we are". My answer seemed to satisfy her, because then she said,"Alright, then well let's eat". Then, we started eating, and incredibly happy.

~After the meal

Terethiel's Point of View

"Thank you for having us"Ada said as he looked at Elrond. Elrond slightly, nodded and said,"You're welcome, and feel free, to come back anytime". "We shall, return here so don't worry!"Nana said as she laughed."Terethiel, we are leaving"Eruira said. I got up from my seat, and hugged Arwen. When she hugged me, she held onto me pretty tightly."Goodbye Terethiel"Arwen whispered."Goodbye Arwen, I'll miss you"I said softly, before I pulled back. Then, I walked over, to my nana and slipped my hand into hers.

"Did you have have fun?"Nana asked.I yawned, and replied,"Yeah". She laughed softly, and asked me, "Are you tired baby girl?". I nodded, and yawned some more, as we made our way down the stairs. The she scooped me up, and I rested my head on her shoulder. My eyes started to close, and then I thought, Today, was the best day ever". The my eyes closed, and I drifted off, into a blissful slumber.
