Icar Kyros.

Nickname:
When he was on his earth, he was called Kronos, especialy by the people of his cult.
Once he was in the void, he was known as Perses, the destroyer of the greek mythology.

Age:
around his late twenties (approximatively 26/27).

Pronouns + gender:
he-him, he is a cisgender man and never questioned it before.

Sexuality:
homosexual.

Backstory:
Icar's born in late october, in a rather particular family. His father was a strict man, who never really wanted to be a parent and so was rather unavailable emotionally. His mother was a conservative catholic woman, who gives him an education based on religion. No lie, no sin, he needed to be the perfect believer. And this education, which soon no longer suits Icar, has had a profound impact on his life. He developed religious trauma, as well as many psychological complications due to this lifestyle.

However, he grew up decently, and went to school without much difficulty. However, it was during his senior year of high school that he discovered his power, when he tried to flee from one of his classmates who had discovered his homosexuality. Having grown up in fear that his mother would find out, and in the idea that it was a divine illness, he was afraid of what this comrade might do to him. And as he ran through the halls of his high school, everything around him began to slow down. Not understanding what was happening, he simply ran faster, quickly leaving the perimeter where his power could have effect, which, at that time, was very weak.

That evening, he did not return home, but went to take refuge with one of his friends at the time, also a mutant. He explained to him, and helped him master this first part of his power. The next day, he returned home, unaware that his classmate had gone to see his parents. He had warned them of everything he knew about Icar, whether it was his homosexuality, or his mutation. This was a huge shock for Icar, who found himself kicked out after a more violent argument than usual. It was during this argument that he discovered the second aspect of his power, the rifts in space. However, controlling it much less well than stopping time, he will not use this aspect of his power again for many years. Still terrified, and understanding that his parents don't want him anymore, he quickly packed a bag and escaped from his own house.

Living by his own wasn't something Icar had planed, and so, he found himself on the street. For a while, he litteraly fight to survive, taking part on underground fights to gain a bit of money. His reputation started to grow as he wins his fights, becoming some sort of legend amongst the fighters. A strange man who practicaly never lose, and who can talk his way through any problems. That's how Icar managed to gain a few fellow followers, and that's when an idea popped in his head.

He started to grow a cult to his person, expecting sacrifices of humans and other mutans because he thought it was their fault if he was here now. It grew more and more, until it was the whole X-Men that he tried to kill. He was sent to the void to protect the timeline he was supposed to be, the TVA expecting him to be eaten by Alioth, but he always found a way to survive. Mostly by using Cassandra Nova's district, but without never interacting with her. He started his own journey, learning to use his power by himself, to the point he often hurt himself or destroy a part of the void. It's because of that, that he is known. A feral and destructive man, way too egocentrical and narcissist to have any basic interactions. He lives alone, and it's better this way.

He was found by Cassandra, who messed up with his brain because she wanted him to join her cause. He didn't liked it, and it actually made him relived some of his trauma, so he ran away from her district. It's when he found the resistance, and met Gambit.

Icar decided to join them, more for himself and his own safety than because he believed in their cause. But, oh well... he still grew found of Gambit, with who he was the closest, mostly because Gambit decided to help him with his powers.

skills:
Icar can manipulate time and space within a radius of 5 kilometers. It can speed up or slow down time, as well as change the space around it.

After his arrival on the Void, and some hard training by himself, his power of manipulating space will extend to the creation of mini universes where he is the master. As for his power of time, it will extend to a person [for example, speeding up the time of his metabolism to heal faster].

  However, there are trade-offs:
For his power of manipulating space, he can remain locked in one of his worlds without being able to leave. It also requires a lot of energy, so much so that it can't use it for long. As for the manipulation of time, it has a direct impact on his own cells. The longer he uses it, the more his skin/muscles begin to atrophy, starting with his fingers.

The thing is, Icar doesn't controle much his powers right now. It's chaotic, and destructive, and way too powerful. He doesn't controle the force of it, and usualy use it in its full power, which leads to more chaos. But he doesn't care. He likes using them, even if it means hurting himself in the process.
