Jezelle
I woke up feeling happy and refreshed. I decided to call Caleb to ask him how his date went. I grabbed my phone and dialed his number.
"Hey Jezelle." Caleb said.
"Hey! How'd the date go?" I asked.
"It was pretty fun, but she seemed a little quiet."
"Ya, that's because her sister just died." I said sadly.
"That's terrible! I feel so bad." Caleb said emphatically.
"But she did have fun though!" I smiled. "She texted me last night to tell me that."
"Well I'm glad about that" Caleb laughed.
"I have to go now, my mom is calling me downstairs." I said.
"Ok, goodbye!" Caleb said happily.
"Bye!" I said before ending the call. I then ran down the stairs. I saw my mom making pancakes in the kitchen.
"I need you to set the table please." My mom smiled.
"Ok." I laughed.
I set five plates on the table. One for me, and the rest for my mom, dad, and two twin brothers who were both five years old. Once everyone was downstairs, we thanked God for the meal then ate the pancakes happily. After breakfast, I decided to meet up with Lucy who had asked me if I wanted to go shopping with her. I put on a yellow, summery dress and yellow sandals. I then ran out the door with my purse in hand.
