I watched as Villain was taken away. He had been released from the ball of light and was now on his way to the dungeons, deep within the mountian. Rogan had put these chains on him that prevented him from using magic, so he was quite defenceless as they took him away.

I sighed. I was standing outside the tent with Dustan, Derrick, Reflamen, Shadowrang and Oceania. The tent was in ruins. The darkness had swallowed up the whole back part of the tent and the rest had fallen apart.

The council was busy talking about the things that had just happened. It was honestly very annoying, and to make matters worse the whole timeline seemed to be falling apart. First the battle with Leren's men, then Dustan getting captured, and now Villain's been found out, well thanks to me, but I was only doing that because not doing it would make matters even worse. 

I sighed again. 

"Something bothering you," said Derrick.

"No, no," I replied looking at him, "Just deep in thought, I guess."

Derrcik smiled, "You know, I'm still trying to figure out how you made that light back there. That was amazing, and you didn't even break a sweat!"

"Physically, no," I replied smiling at Derrick's interest, "but mentally it was extremely difficult."

"How so?"

"Well," I said trying to figure out what to say, "It's like trying to daydream in the middle of a battle."

"Wow, that difficult ha?" said Derrick.

"Yep," I replied smiling, the thing was, it actually was daydreaming in the middle of battle.

"Hey look guys," said Dustan, "It looks like the council has finished."

I looked over and saw Rogan walking towards us, along with Leivite and Leo. A shadow passed over us and Lilly came flying down to meet us. Charole was on her back.

"What happened here?" said Charole.

"Ask them," I replied, pointing towards the three men walking towards us. 

"Hey what's happening?" said Charole when they reached us.

"Villain was a traitour, a double agent of the king," said Rogan, "Derrick, the one that's not my brother, defeated him with a strange light, after breaking into his mind. Also, Dustan here has decided to help us."

Charole was surprised, "Villain?"

"Yes that's right," said Rogan.

"Then what was the meeting about?" she said.

"That's what I'd like to know," said Derrick.

"The council has decided..." said Rogan, then he took a deep breath, "That we attack, a full on frontal assult on the king."

"WHAT!?" I said in surprise.

Everyone looked at me in surprise.

"I don't see why not?" said Derrick, "We have got everything we need, Dustan, to show us the way in. That old golden staff. Me and Shadowrang are as good as a dragon rider can get. Derrick has got his flame blades and I have my shadow blade. The king wouldn't stand a chance."

"But?" I said getting confused, "Why now?"

"This is the best time to attack," said Leo, "The enemy is weekn'd  from their defeat, they will not be expecting an attack so soon, and we will have the advantage of surprise."

"I guess you're right," I said, 'What's happening, everything is getting completely destroyed. I never imagined me and Reflamen could make so much of a difference, I guess I never suspected anything.'

Lilly was looking at me with concern. She reached into my mind.

'Hey Lilly,' I said.

'Hey,' she replied, 'Do you know what's going on. In you memories you imagined that we wouldn't attack for another month yet, why are we going so soon? Did you change it or something?'

'No,' I replied, 'but something is very wrong.'

She nodded and left my mind. 

"So," I asked, "When is the attack?"

"Two days from now," said Rogan.

"TWO DAYS," I said, 'Oh great, that just makes it even worse, they could be defeated by the time I wake up, and I'll fall unconscious before we even get to start the battle.'

"Can you at least give us five days to get ready?" I said.

"Sorry, no," said Rogan, "Leivite said the same thing but by then the kings army will have recovered rom the loss."

'Oh great, this is just great,' I said.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.

"Hey Derrick," said Charole, "Are you okay?"

"Yes," I said quickly, "Just a little bit... nervous, that's all."

Charole nodded slowly, "Okay, whatever you say."

Leo started to explain the plan of attack, and where to position the dragons riders and foot soldiers and seige weapons. I didn't listen to any of it, I was still trying to figure out where everything went wrong.

'Everything went just fine until today,' I thought, 'Was it the fact of the flight me and Reflamen had last night, that is the main subject, but for some reason I don't think that was it.'

I thought back to when the lightning strikes started to hit me in my world, then the dream I had of the school exploding.

'What is happening?'  I thought.

"Derrick!" yelled Charole.

I was snapped out of my trance.

"Yes," I said, shaking my head.

"Are you sure you're feeling alright?" said Charole, "You seem very agitated about something."

"Yeah, yeah, I'm alright," I said trying to smile, "It's nothing of importance really."

"Are you sure about that?" said Charole narrowing her eyes, "Because it seems like your hiding something."

"It's alight Charole," I said, "It's really nothing to worry about."

Charole stared at me in a studieing way, "Then you won't mind telling me."

I hesitated, 'Oh great.'

"Hey Derrick," said Leivite, "Can you come with or a second, and Lilly to, and Relfamen."

I let loose an inside sigh of releaf, 'Thankyou Leivite.'

I hurried over to him, "Yes what is it?"

Lilly and Reflamen walked over to us. 

"Look," said Leivite, "I want to be able to figure out what is going on here, and I'm sure Lilly does to, but first, we need to go somewhere else. Lilly, you don't mind giving me a lift?"

Lilly replied to Leivite with her thoughts, not allowing us to here.

"Thankyou, thankyou," said Leivite, "Now, let's go. Lilly, you better tell your rider where your going."

Lilly nodded and relayed the message to Charole. Charole seemed to frown and looked over at us with suspicioun. She then looked back to Lilly and nodded. Leivite levitated himself onto Charole's back and I just jumped onto Reflamen's.

We flew over the Resistance camp and down the mountain. Leivite lead us to a small clearing hidden by the trees, but big enough for two dragons to sit comfortably. As soon as we landed Leivite jumped of Lilly's back and faced me.

"What in the world is happening?" said Leivite.

'He's quite spry, for an old fellow,' said Reflamen.

'Shut up Reflamen, now's not the time,' I said, "I don't know, everything is falling apart."

"Yes," said Leivite, "That much is obvious, but what is causing it."

"I told you, I don't know," I said. 

Leivite started to pace around the clearing, mumbling to himself.

'Could it be something you've done, or we've done that's not exsposed to happen,' said Lilly.

"Know, I don't think so," I said outloud, "I mean, me and Reflamen did fly out over Taknor last night, but I don't think that's the reason." 

"You did what?" yelled Leivite, "That must have been the reason, what makes you think it's not."

"Well, last night, just like every night, I imagined before I went to sleep," I said, "I imagined me doing all the fun things as soon as we get back, and Shadowrang coming in, but it never once crossed my mind that we were going to get attacked and usually my imagination is right."

Leivite nodded his head and started pacing again, "Is there anything else that has happened in the past few days that is worth noticing."

I thought back, "Well, just before I came back to this world, I was getting struck by bolts of lighting. They didn't strike anywhere else, only at me, and it happened more then once."

"Did you imagine it?" said Leivite.

"No," I said, "That's the thing, I haven't imagined any of this stuff, well except for a bit to do with Villain, but that doesn't really count."

Leivite nodded, "Do you mind if I have a look at your memories again? They might give some answers."

I nodded. Leivite stretched out his mind towards mine. I opened it for him. He started to scroll through my memories, casting aside the ones he didn't need and keeping the ones that may be usfull."

It took almost an hour before he completed his search. He then withdrew.

"Find anything?" I asked.

"No," said Leivite, "There is nothing that explains it. The lack of magical energy from those bolts must mean that the were real, and no one created them, but that again someone may have very well created them. I just don't know. The only thing I could come up with is that someone is messing with you mind, or maybe this world. I guess we'll just have to find out."

I nodded, "Let's get back."

Leivite agreed.
