I followed Charole to the end of the woods, where the clearing was. She stopped in the middle and guestured towards me. 

"Yes," I said.

"You go that way, I think I saw someone hiding there," she said, "I'll go back into town and start checking the shops, there is usually a lot of people around there."

I nodded and started to make my way past Leviete's tent and the forest. I was looking for someone in the trees, or the bushes.

'Hey Reflamen, could you do me a favour and start flying around and looking for other people,' I said.

'Sure no problem, but there is one person in the tents to your right, he has been following you for the past few minutes,' he said. 

I spun around looking back down the tents I had just past. Sure enough I saw someone dart quickly around the corner of the tent. I went after him, but as soon as I went around the corner I was met with a blade on my kneck. 

"Dead," said the person, he had brown hair, like mine, and he had single edged, curved sword. He had the same clothes as most people around, a cloth shirt and a leather jacket. He also had dark brown boots and leather pants.

"Now you have to wait for a dragon," said the young man.

He then sprinted of down the street.

'Aah, Reflamen,' I said.

'Already on it,' said Relfamen. 

I looked up and saw him circling the place where I had been caught. He glided down and landed in the gap behind the tents, where the forest was. He nearly couldn't fit. He snaked his head around and 'tapped' me with his head. I fell over.

"Hey," I said outloud, "What was that for?"

'What was what for,' said Reflamen silently laughing.

I sighed and sprinted of after the man that had defeated me. Suddenly a horn sounded through the camp, signalling the game was over. I stopped running and stopped to catch my breath.

'I must have been one of the last ones,' I thought. 

I started to make my way over to the to the council's tent, where the games started and everything was announced.

'You have to come to,' I said to Reflamen.

'Don't worry, I'll meet you there,' said Reflamen. 

He flew over head, quite fast.

'Hey!' I said.

I started to sprint after him, but I knew that I would never catch up to a dragon in flight. When I got to the tent I immediatly spotted Reflamen sitting with some other dragons and dragon riders. I ran over to him.

'Took you long enough,' said Reflamen. 

I smiled and sat down next to Reflamen's side. His belly was warm, almost hot, which I was thankful for since it was a relatively cold and windy day. 

'You know I'm big enough for you to sit on now,' said Reflamen.

'Mmmh,' I replied.

'Why don't climb up to my back.' said Reflamen.

''Good idea,' I got up and climbed up his scales onto his back. 

I found a creves near his neck where I could sit comfortably. I lay down across his neck and looked to the stadium past his horns. 

'This is a great view,' I said.

'I know,' said Relfamen. 

A stage had been set up at the tent. Grunnal, the lead counciler, walked up onto the stage. 

"Hello all and welcome," said Grunnal, his voice projected around the clearing outside the tent easily.

'He must be using magic,' I thought to Reflamen.

'Well if that's not obvious then I don't know what is,'  replied Reflamen.

"Today we celebrate Rider's Day!" continued Grunnal, "On this day, five hundred years ago, was when the first dragon and rider came together and formed the bond as we know it today. This was a great time for the human race, and the dragons. We came together to defeat an ancient evil that was threatening the world as we know it. Then two brave souls, one dragon and one human, came together and cast a spell, linking their minds and hearts together. These two defeated the enemy and brought peace to the land. Ever since dragons have been hatching for humans and we have prospered like never before. That is, until the dark king, but he will fall."

Everyone cheered and a few of the dragons joined in with mighty roars.

"Now onto the awards and graduations," said Grunnal, "Selena."

Selena walked onto the stage. She had black hair and brown eyes, along with the normal leather clothes everyone wore. She had a long sword strapped to her hip and a dagger strapped to her thigh. She was also a member of the council.

"Hello," she said, her voice also magnified, "I'm in charge of all missions carried out and how they perform. I am here today to reward those who have done an outstanding job in doing these. I look for people who have a high succes rate and manage to be creative in the way they get there job done. I think of people who are able to spy on the king without him knowing your there and able to steel something without being noticed and without killing anybody. So without further interuptions, the first person do get this award has completed every one of his missions this year. He was able to save three hundred dragon eggs with a single spell and a lot of determanation, James rider of Reagel."

A blond haired boy came up to claim his reward. He smiled and waved to the crowd before going back to sit near his big brown dragon, presummably Reagel.

Selena went along to announce five more riders and three other people. Charole was one of the riders and Derrick was one of the other people, although since he was away on a mission he couldn't receive his reward, so Rogan took it for him.

The next person to give out there rewards was Leo. He was a council member but he hardly ever worked with the council.

"Hello," said Leo, "I'm in charge of battle training and tactics. Today I will be giving rewards out for those people who have done an outstanding job in these areas over the past year. First and formost is my daughter Charole. She is one of the best swordswoman in the town, almost as good as me! Please come up."

'Who would have guest,' said Relfamen sarcastically.

I laughed. 

"The next person is very new to the camp. He has only been here about nine days, most of the time unconsious, but he has surprised even me. He is new with a sword but on our first sparing session he gave me a new scar. He also protected one of our council members from certain demise against the army that attacked three days ago. Please come up, Derrick rider of Reflamen."

I was frozen for a second, then I realized what had happened. I slid down Reflamen's side and walked up to the stage. Leo gave me the reward of twenty gold pents. 

"Good job kid, you keep doind what your doing and you will become one of the greatest worries in the world," said Leo.

I nodded slowly, I wasn't even fazed that he called me kid. 

"Thanks," I said.

"Now get back down to your dragon."

I hopped of the stage and walked over to Reflamen.

"Congrats,' said Reflamen. 

I smiled at him.

'I don't think that's going to be the last award you'll be given today,' said Reflamen.

'Really,' I said as I climbed back onto his back.

Leo called out three more people, one was Derrick, but he was, of course, away on a mission. 

The next person who came up was Leviete.

"Hello everyone," said the old man, "I am master of magic and spells. Today I am going to reward those who have done great things using magic and and their mind. First and foremost, is James rider of Reagel."

James came up again.

"As Selena said, James managed to save three hundred dragon eggs with a single spell, and that is extraordinary to say the least."

Leviete gave James his reward before James went back to sit down.

Leviete gave out two more rewards, both to dragon riders, before he called up Rogan for the dragon rider rewards.

'I thought you would be one of the magic people,' said Reflamen.

'I didn't, I would have to do something very amazing with a spell to be able to get that,' I said.

"Hello everyone," said Rogan, "Today I will be rewarding people who have surprised me, to say the least, at thing they can do with their dragon, as well as sword fighting and working with dragons not there own. For working extremely well with his dragon, defeating an entire force by himself and looking after the dragon stables without a complaint, Leo of the council."

Rogan was the only person who was able to reward couniclers as well as other people, he was after all, the leader of the Resistance.

Leo came up and accepted his reward.

"The next person has been able to surprise me so much the past nine days that it would be impossible to ignore him. He is getting to be a very good swordsman, he even defeated me in a duel the other day. His first ride on a dragon by himself was extraordinary to say the least, he is already a better rider then me. Derrick rider of Reflamen."

'Told you,' said Relfamen.

I smiled and slid of Relfamen's back and went back onto the stage. Rogan handed me another twent gold pents.

"Nice job," he said, "You more then deserve it."

I smiled at him, "Thank's for what you have taught me, I have really appreciated it."

I went back over to Reflamen and climbed back onto his back.

'You're going to be rich if you keep gaining money like this,' said Reflamen.

'I know, if only I could take it back to my world,' I replied.

Rogan announced five more people, one of them was Charole.

"Okay, that's it for today people," said Rogan, "Tomorrow we have a few more games, starting at nine in the morning. All dragon rider's have to particapate, as usaul. Now we have a feast set up at the training fields. You are all dismissed."
