i finished the first two books of a court of thorns and roses series and w o w. spoilers below by the way

i really thought it was just a classical romance?? like the entire first book was like that and then BOOM i'm screaming. here's a list of things for clarity:

1. rhysand is an idiotic bb i love him but damn he's stupid
2. i'll never stop reading his name as righ-sand lmaoo
3. i imagined tamlin like a soft and awkward beast at first but n o p e
4. too many sex scenes and details
5. i read amarantha as amanda first and my first reaction was "i will not read a book where the villain is called amanda" i love myself
6. no no listen rhys is like this flirtatious and shallow guy but also very scary and cold but he also cares and is so gentle and he hides it all under his fuckboy mask?? ccoucouoc i love him so much his personality and everything and ace no we're moving on
7. i liked lucien at first but pussy
8. azriel is our emo edgelord protect him at all costs
9. frankly rhys seems way too weak to be the strongest highlord unless they're all really weak like he was so helpless in the second book like what
10. i don't like feyre whoops. she's like that classical oblivious protagonist who suddenly gains a shit ton of power and now is the only one who can save everyone like bitch no
11. amren also seems way too weak like please sarah
12. I KNEW IT THE MOMENT THEY MET IT WAS SO OBVIOUS RHYS HAD A CRUSH ON FEYRE I CALLED IT

i'll rant more later but d a m n. can't wait for the third book.
