alright help me trying to decide which power to use for a roleplay

one is metal manipulation aka my favorite power but since my character is supposed to be hiding his powers idk if i can do much with it?

another one is basically mind control which isn't fun but easier to hide

also there's two types of mind control one is verbally giving the command but the victim is basically unconscious and the other is through the mind but the victim is conscious and like 'wtf am i doing why am i stabbing myself"
