Once we got back to the house, I went up stairs to shower and change. I threw on my flannel pajama pants and a grey tank top. I didn't bother with my hair so I left it alone.

I walked down the stairs to see Devin and Dax talking about something in the living room. When I went in  Devin shushed Dax.

"Hey JB, what's up?" Asked Devin quickly, making it obvious that he was hiding something.

"Dont hey me, what were you talking about before you shushed Dax?" I said, "and don't lie because you suck at it." I said. Dax laughed and Devin turned red.

He didn't say anything for a while until Dax said, "Dude, just tell her, it's not like she going to go run and tell."

Devin looked from Dax to me and threw his head back. "FINE. Today during orientation, I spotted this girl, and I think she might be my mate."

I was shocked. Everyone knows that you can tell if someone is your mate by kissing them. Plus you have to be 19, but I've heard of some cases that kid that  were younger found their mates because they were more mature. And Devin is pretty mature for his age.

"Well did you kiss her?" I asked.

"What? No! I can't just waltz right up to her and kiss her 'oh excuse me miss I think your my mate, let me kiss you.' She'll think I'm crazy, and what if she isn't?"

"Then she isnt, and your mate is still out there waiting for you." Dax answered. I nodded.

"I don't know what to do" Devin said falling back on to floor.

"Well maybe you should try to be her friend first, get to know more about her before you kiss her." I said.

"Yeah, this way you can see if your attracted to her personality more than her looks." Dax added.

Devin nodded and got up, heading towards the stairs. "I'm going to go to my room to think more about this, but thanks for the advice guys."

Once be was gone it was just me and Dax. We were both sitting on the same couch facing the tv. We were watching Law and Order:SVU. It's my favorite show. After a few minutes of watching the show in silence I looked over to Dax to see him staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"What were you doing with that guy in the woods? He asked squinting my eyes at me.

"Well, I shifted back to human form and had no clothes ,so I snagged his." I said turning back to the TV.

"He saw you naked?" Dax growled sitting up.

"NO! I took them when he wasn't looking. Jesus Dax calm down." I said looking him in the eye.

"Oh." He said laying back down. "Keep him arms length away, there something about that guy."

I rolled my eyes. What is up with him acting so defensive lately?

It was 8:30, and my eyes were getting really heavy. I must've fell asleep because I woke at 1:06 to be covered with a blanket. I was still in the living room and the TV was still on. I went to get up when my toe hit someone. I looked over to see Dax sleeping. I put the blanket over him and went to my room. I set my alarm, and brushed my teeth then went bed.

I woke up to the smell of bacon. I love bacon, it's my favorite food in the entire world. I went down stairs to see a whole plate of bacon.

"Morning sunshine, I made you bacon for you first day" winked Dax.

I giggled. "Thanks Dad." He handed me a fork but there was no used to it, I dug right in eating the strips with my fingers.

"Woah slow down their kid, save some for the rest of the pack." Dax chuckled.

I was finished and I went upstairs to shower. When I was done, I put on a pair of adidas joggers, a grey tank top and my white and black adidas sneakers.

I braided my hair into 2  pigtails and threw on a white baseball cap.. I looked in the mirror and headed  down stairs.

I walked out side to see Dean Adrian sitting on the porch.

"Good Morning Alpha Jada, I came by to give you your schedule since you had a little incident yesterday. Also i would like to tell you we do not tolerate violence at Bishop, unless you are hit first. So basically never throw the first punch," he laughed, " but your father did tell me that you have trouble with controlling your wolf, so I have found you a tutor, that is willing to meet with you after school. Would you be interested? "

"I'm very sorry for my actions yesterday, and would agree that I have problems controlling my wolf Nala. She is very strong and hard headed." I replied.

And your not?  Nala said icly.

" yes, I understand. So would you like to meet with your tutor?"

"Yes, I would love to."

"Great! You will me after school twice a week, Tuesday and Wednesday, your tutors name is DJ. He plays football here so it would have to be right after school and end at 3:30."

"Okay perfect, thank you Dean Adrian." I said.

"Please Jada, just call me Adrian." He bowed and walked away.

I walked to school alone, so that I could try mesmerizing my schedule.

1st block was Fitness, then I had a free block. Thank the mood goddess.  then  I have language, after I go to lunch. After lunch, which would be last block class I have Were History.

I only have 5 classes today. That should be easy! Plus I have Dax in every single one of my class! I can't wait to see him!

I know he's your best friend, but why are so clingy to him lately? Nala questioned.

"I am not, I just like being  around my best friend!" I stated

Whatever, I'm going to find out what it is. Then she cut the link.

The walk took about 12 minutes. But I just thought about the memories me Dax shared.

Woah. I have been acting strangely towards him. Do I have a crush on him? Nooo. I laughed out loud.

"What are you laughing at?"
I looked up see a girl about my height with blonde hair that is cut to her shoulders. I looked at her face and remembered that it was the girl that ran into me the first day

"Oh uh I was laughing at the uh squirrel that fell out that tree over there." I said quickly.

"Oh really", she smirked " well there aren't any squirrels on this territory, so what were you really laughing at?" She said putting her hands on her hips.

Busteddd.

"Oh you shut up." I yelled back at Nala.

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to bother, just wanted a new friend for the first day." The girl said, look at her feet.

"Oh my god, no I wasn't talking to you I was talking to my wolf, she's driving me crazy!" I said putting my hand on the girls shoulder.

"Oh, okay I thought you were talking to me and I got really scared. I just wanted to know what you were laughing at, it seemed to be funny the way you were laughing, and now I'm just rambling." She said very fast.

I laughed. And stuck my hand out. "Hey, my name Jada, but you can call me JB."

Instead of shaking my hand she pulled me into a bear hug. "Hiii, my name is Sam Chamberlin!"

We sat there for a second. Just holding each other. "Uh Sam, your cutting my airways." I gasped out.

"Oh sorry, in just a hugger" she said turning red.

"Yo JB", I turned to see Devin coming towards me.

"Hi Dev, you ready for school?" He nodded and looked to Sam. She wasn't looking at him. He was staring at her like she was a precious little baby.

I smirked then mind linked him , so this is the one?

He turned red, and nodded.

"I like her she's sweet and funny." I thought I mindlinked it to Dev, but apparently not. "Who are you talking about?" Sam asked.

"Oh, I was talking to my wolf about you. I smiled and she smiled. The she locked eyes with Devin, but he blushed and walked away. She just shrugged.
Then something caught my eye behind Sam.

I saw Dax standing with a group of guys and some girl. Dax said something making the group laugh. The girl started laughing and put her hands in Dax's biceps.

I growled. Sam must have heard it and saw where my gaze was. She landed on Dax.

"Aww you like him? Is he your mate? You guys would be the cutest couple ever!!" She squealed.

I looked back over to Dax, and he put his hands around the girls shoulder.

"No, that's my beta." I said through gritted teeth, " and my best friend."
