^Above is what the ballroom looks like

We walked through the doors to see a breathtaking ballroom. The color scheme was white and light blue, it was beautifull. It had to staircases that connected to the second floor.

Above our heads was a gorgeous chandelier.

Well this is fancy. Breathed Nala.

Where have you been? I've been through so much and you were no where to be found. I almost got attacked, and had no way to defend myself. I wish you were in front of me I would slap you for leaving me. I yelled mentally at her.

I never left you Jada. I went to the farthest part of you mind. I was learning how to control my anger. Nala spoke softly.

I wanted you to learn how to defend yourself with out me taking over and destroying everything.

We were all sitting at a round table, listening to Dean Adrian talk about the ball.

"Ugh I just want him to shut up so we dance." Groaned Sam.

"...and with that, I would like say, have a great time and stay safe." Dean Adrian walked off the stage. Everyone clapped and cheered and the music started.

"Finally, now I can leave you losers. I'm going to find Danny." Kimberly said annoyed.

We all rolled our eyes and went to the dancefloor. The dancefloor was at the end of the two staircases. The DJ was on the second floor between the stairs. When the first song came on Dax stopped and turn to me. Can you guess what singer is it was?

It was 'Can't keep my hands to Myself', by Selena Gomez. I groaned. But Dax laughed and pulled me to the middle of the dancefloor.

After listening to the song, in actually really liked it. Me and Dax held hands the whole time we were dancing. Then the song switched over to '679' by Fetty Wap.

I love Fetty Wap! I know all his songs. The way Dax is with Selena is the way I'm with Fetty Wap. Except I don't think he's hot, I just like his voice and lyrics. I was dancing and tapping the song. I was doing my own thing, I was into it, I didn't know that my friends made a circle around me cheering me on. I loved the attention because I knew the whole song and got to show off my skills. We all danced to a few more songs, it was really hot, so I went over to the doors of the balcony to open them to get some air in.

I took a deep breath in, when i got a whiff of something. It smelled familiar. I turned to see where the smell was coming from when my eyes and averted to Danny.

He was at the top of the staircase. He had on a red and black tux.

He had a blank stare, showing no emotion. He started down the stairs, when Kimberly ran to him.

They looked like they were in a argument, me being nosey made my way over to them. I went over to the snack table, so I can hear what they were talking about.

"Where have you been? You haven't answered, any of my calls or text." She yelled.

"I was with my girlfriend."

"Your girl friend!? You know what Danny, I let you have your fun, and fool with other girls, but now I'm getting tired of waiting for you. I am your mate, and it's time you start acting like it."

Kimberly and Danny were mates? Figures.

"No." He said emotionless. He tried to walk around her butbshe moved blocking him.

"What do mean no? You are my mate. The Moon Goddess put you and I together for a reason."

"Well it looks like she made a mistake." A girl in a red gown walked over and placing her hand on Danny's shoulder. She had pin straight blonde almost white hair. She was pale. But she was beautiful. Her dress was as equally beautiful. It was a red off the shoulder longsleeve, dress with a high slit.

"

Who the hell are you to question the Luna,The Moon Goddess, never makes a mistake." Growled Kimberly.

"Me and Danny here are mates" the girl said coldly.

Kimberly laughed. "Try again sweetie, Danny's mine."

"Oh on the contrary," she walked up to Kimberly and whispered, "he marked me."

Kimberly's eyes went huge, and they traveled to the girls neck, and sure enough were two black dots.

The girl grabbed Danny's hand and said "introduce me to your friends" and walked him to the other side of the room.. Kimberly ran to the bathroom.

I walked over to the bathroom to hear sobbing in one of the stalls.

"Kimberly? Are you okay?"/I asked slowly walking over to her.

"Go away mutt, I'm not in the mood for you today." She cried out.

"Kimberly, I heard what happened."

"Well that fantastic, now your going to run off and tell everyone."

"No I'm not," I said kneeling down, "I just wanted to say that I'm sorry and you deserve much better than Danny."

"No i don't, he's my mate! Me and him are supposed to be together." She cried throwing her hands to her face.

"If he isn't going to treat you like a mate should, then you should reject him. Don't let him keep hurting you."

"He already hurt me. He marked that bitch. He didn't even have audacity to to reject me. Now I feel all this pain." She sobbed. I grabbed her and pulled her into a hug.

"Well now's your time to reject him. Once you do Luna will find you a better, and more caring mate." I said into her hair.

She pulled away from me, "why are you being so nice to me? I've been nothing but awful to you."

I smiled. "Yeah you have, but after walking up from my coma, I realised life can take a turn any time and any day. And when mine does, i don't want any grudges. I don't want to feel any guilt."

She nodded. "I'm sorry about everything I have done to you, and very sorry for the passing of your father."

"It's okay, thank you." She smiled and gave me another hug. "Not being a bitch but, we need to fix your make up, you look terrible." She whipped her to look in the mirror.

"O h my god. Your right. I need to fix my make up then I'm going to walk out of this room with confidently and March right up to Danny and reject him." She puffed. "That piece of shit"

I laughed. "Well I'm going to go back out there. Come find me when your done."

"Oh I will! I want to tell you his reaction." She smiled.

With that I walked out of the bathroom. I made my way for my friends when the stench hit me again.

I took a deep sniff in closing my eyes only focusing on the scent. I tried through my memories to find it. That's when I found it.

I opened my eyes and scanned the room. I must find the person with the scent and kill them. I kept looking, then my eyes hit Dax. I mindlinked him.
