(Y/N)'s POV

I sat up from my bed waking up in a cold sweat as i start to breath heavily

As i start to calm down cold sweat falling from my chest i realized i was staring at the American Flag Hanging from the wall

I sighed as i look around my room

It had an king size bed, A flat screen TV, a alarm clock, a nightstand, an American Flag, A desk and a chair, an mini armory and a naked woman in my bed...Wait what!

I was about to jump out of the bed until i realized it was just my sleeping wife Samantha

Samantha: "Hm..."

She grunts while sleeping as i sighed laying back down

'Damn Nightmares...they keep happening...'

I thought as i look at the clock to see it was 4:36

'4:36 In the fourth of July huh...might as well get ready for the BBQ...'

I thought as i kissed Samantha's lips as she stirred awake

(Y/N): "Honey...got to get ready for the Barbeque..."

I told her as she grunts

Samantha: "...Come on...stay with me for awhile...I'm still exhausted from last night..."

She begs as i just chuckle

She pouts as i stand up from my bed walking to my closet

I grabbed my clothes as i walked to the bathroom

I entered the bathroom placing my clothes on a nearby stand as i turn on the shower

I entered the shower washing off the stench and juices from last night

'Need to prep the meets and the grill for later...'

I thought as i finished showering putting on my clothes

Its just normal clothing, Plain black shirt with the American flag on its shoulder, MARPAT Woodland Trousers, and My combat boots...Its normal for me

As i rub my buzzcut hair i grabbed my Favorite hat from the stand

I placed it on walking out to see Samantha Still naked holding her towel waiting for me to get out

Samantha: "Should we wake up Joseph for the trip to DC?"

Samantha asks me as i nodded

(Y/N): "Sure, just shower before you get me on again."

I teased her as she chuckles

Samantha: "I'm already on because of you."

She teases me before walking in the bathroom closing the door behind her

I just chuckle walking to Joseph's room

I opened the door slightly to see a room painted in blue with wooden floor, toys scatter the floor, and a small bed containing my inspiration

I smile a bit as i walk towards the bed to see my sleeping Five year old Son, Joseph

I place my hand on his sleeping shoulder shaking it a bit as he stirs awakes

(Y/N): "Hey Joseph, you got to wake up or your gonna be late to meet your best friend Everest."

I told him as his eye's opens slightly

Joseph: "Five more Minutes..."

I just chuckle patting his shoulder

(Y/N): "Okay kiddo, just make sure you get to the dining room before i turn DI Mode again."

I joke him as i see him froze in fear

She says as i chuckle leaving his room Walking towards the kitchen

As i reach the kitchen, i started to cook

After five minutes Joseph sat on the table as Samantha soon follows kissing Joseph's forehead as i place the three plates on the table carrying helluva food

30 minutes later

As i placed the grill, a cooler full of meat, and a cooler full of drinks on the back of my 'truck'

As Joseph gets in on the back of the Truck Samantha enters too as i enter the driver seat

Samantha was Wearing her day-to-day clothes

(Y/N): "Alright, to DC-"

I was cutoff as the air raid sirens blared

Sirens: "THIS IS JUST A TEST. PRESUME WITH YOUR DAY. THIS IS JUST A TEST. PRESUME WITH YOUR DAY."

As the sirens blare i sighed

Two weeks ago NATO Countries found Chinese Surveillance and spy planes near the countries border, China thought we we're supplying Russia and they thought to send their damn planes as a show of strength, but that only caused a few NATO Countries declaring war on china like Poland and Urzikstan and tensions grow

The US And its allies like the UK, France, Germany, United Korean Republic and many others try to keep the war going to hell, but with these so-called show of strength. Its only a matter of time before NATO Official gets involved in the War

Russia has been neutral to NATO, but with the countries who declared war on China, Russia aided them causing China to think Russia is now in a Joint Task Force with NATO

As the Threats Continue all over the US People started Nuclear drills, Air raid sirens from the cold war we're fixed and are on stand by, US Airbases are on High alert to intercept any bombers or aircrafts that weren't NATO, And Nuclear shelters have been built all across the Nation. Needless to say its the 2nd Cold War.

3 Hours later, Washington DC, Hacksaw Ville Park 

As i set up the grill near the wooden benches and tables we claimed now its the waiting game

???: "Joseph!"

I hear a yell of a five year old girl as i see Joseph rush out off the bench rushing behind me

I turn around to see Alan, Frost and Their Daughter Everest Approaching us carrying coolers

Joseph: "Everest!"

They both hug each other as i smile towards the reunion of my kid

Alan: "(Y/N), How's the day?"

Alan asks me as i smiled

Me and Alan turned to our children playing tag together

Alan: "I see they still haven't change a bit."

Alan says as i chuckle

It was our leave, we had about six more days before we get deployed again. For Frost she is an Reservist for our squad. Samantha Retired from DEVGRU so we could start a family

Everest: "TAG!"

Joseph: "Better run now!"

As they chase each other down me, Alan, Frost, and Samantha started to set up the grill

Alan: "Got your favorite!"

Alan tosses me my favorite beer as i catch it

As i opened lit the grill up i heard something that would've changed everything

...: "Verification, Tango Zulu Nine. Deployment of Operators...Two days..."

Frost and Samantha looks Confused hearing the robotic voice coming from me and Alan's watch as i look down to my watch to see the Words

'21, 12, 16.'

...Threat Level...red...Deployment...

I just shaked my head puting a fake smile as Alan did the same

(Y/N): "Its...Nothing...Come on lets put on the grill."

Samantha and Frost: "...Okay..."
