"Oh there's my cue see ya" she says and runs off.

Confusion was all over my face, what did I say wrong?

 I mean I know I disappeared during the tour but it was because I had to search through her locker to see if there was anything suspicious in  there and it was also perfect timing because i glitched the cameras to turn off for a certain time. 

Seeing Elena for the first time, she didn't even look, whats the word? 

Threatening.

Even if her father was using her or was with her why would she be at this school? Was he hiding her or what, none of the others at the agency told me anything, just to look for anything suspicious. There's nothing.

                   I saw her yesterday at the ice cream shop and she was so kind to the man serving as if he was her grandpa, she payed and left and that's it.  I also viewed her social media accounts and to my surprise she had nothing absolutely nothing.

 That could be because either she doesn't want to be found, or she's just doesn't care about it or she doesn't have many friends?

                  As all these thoughts went through my mind I headed towards my fifth hour which was world history.

I see Elena down the hall and she seems quite slow, the last bell is about to ring, shouldn't she be in her fifth hour already?

Elena? Shouldn't you be in class" I practically yell.

She slightly looks back. She looks like a zombie just standing there, her head starts to wonder and she steps back as if about to fall.

What's going on with her?

She steps back but her feet don't catch her.

Suddenly I run towards her my instincts acting up,

and there she is 

in my arms

I caught her.

She looks asleep, feels cold, looks pale. I quickly run to the nurses office, 

"NURSE!" 

"NURSE!"

The nurse walks out and her face quickly shaken.

Everything happens quickly, the ambulance takes her and drives off to the hospital.

'Beep, Beep, Beep' 

I'm sitting in the hospital room, I look over at Elena. She looks so peaceful, why?

Why?

This morning Elena seemed perfectly normal like it was the average day then four hours later here she is. Was it me? I mean I didn't hurt her. As I was in deep thought the doctor came in "Are you related to her?" he asked, "um uh i'm her boyfriend" I said, the doctor didn't seem to have much thought about it, "Well her um 'guardian' is out of town so I guess you will do"

I stood up to be level with the doctor, "What is it, why did this happen?" I asked him, he looked at me with pity.

The doc walked over to Elena, "She had so much stress, fear, mental pain that suddenly hit her, something triggered all of that unto her in a short amount of time, it must of been so much for her body to handle that her body simply failed. Yes she will be fine but right now we're not sure if her memory will survive, with that much stress, fear, and pain who knows what the mind and brain went through" the doctor said, all of this was hard to swallow.

She will be fine physically but what about mentally.

If her father finds out about this, it could be the end or the beginning.

I walk out of the room and take out my phone and dial the number the agency gave me for emergencies.

"Hello this is agent Lexington" I said

"Hello Lex whats the emergency?" said someone through the line

"Elena Yates is in the hospital, they say she her body failed for awhile because the intense stress, fear and pain she had in a short moment, she's physically fine but we don't know if she is mentally fine until she wakes up" I say

"Did you find anything or see anything that would make you think she was connected with her father or anything suspicious?" they say

"No absolutely nothing, except what just happened but didn't you tell me her mother and sister died in a car crash when she was just ten?" I asked not remembering quite well.

"Yes they did that was possibly why this accident happened, did you say anything or do anything that possibly triggered all of the feelings?" they said, I don't think I said anything or did anything wrong. Then It hit me

"Wait during lunch I went over and talked to her, well tried at least, I think what possibly might of did all of this was when I asked her whats her story" I said, this was all my fault. 

It went super quiet through the phone, knowing they were thinking about the situation, then suddenly I heard a loud alarm.

"Ok Lex we just got info that Elena's father heard about what happened, we don't know how or who but we need you to stay there at the hospital taking care of Elena, somebody from the inside told us that Elena's father has not been in touch with her since the mother and sister past but has had someone in her grade look after her, you told us she didn't have any friends right?"

"Right" I said, no thoughts going through my mind feeling a bit numb with all of this information.

"All you need to do Lex, is you need to protect Elena from people who might be suspects, protect her from anyone who tries to do harm ok? We can handle her father." He said

Wait but what abo-" Before I could end my sentence he hanged up, I looked over at Elena, this is going to be so much fun, sarcasm is fun.

I was not going to leave the hospital until she left too.

 I woke up, the sun coming through the window  very brightly burned. My back hurt  like a piece of crap from that horrible chair. I stood up and stretched.

Everything from last night started flooding my brain.  I looked around and then turned to Elena, she still looked peaceful, lucky. My stomach growled like a lion on a diet. I realized I had not ate since yesterday's lunch at school.

I headed towards the door, when suddenly I heard a yawn, I turned around quickly and ran to the bed.

Elena was waking up, and she sure was taking her time. I looked at her forever,  things running through my mind,  what should I say? Should I say anything at all? Is she going to say something? 

Finally I spoke up

"Hey, are you feeling alright?" I asked her with a sympathetic smile. 

She looked around the room with no expression.

Finally her eyes landed on me.

"Uh Sorry to ask but why am I here?" she said confused, Oh no.

She probably forgot what happened

"Oh you don't remember? Well you fainted at school" I said 

"Ok..." she said slowly as if trying to connect the dots

"But wait" she says and looks at me. Suddenly the doctor walks in

"Who are you?" 

Who am I?! "

Oh. No.

She forgot everything.
