Your name is Y/n. Your 19 years old and live in Ebbot city. It's been 5 years since Monster kind have escaped from the underground. At first you were scared of them but honestly, they are an extremely friendly species, so it wasn't hard to warm up to them.

Grillby was the first monster friend you made, he even offered you a job at his bar to work late shifts, which you excepted since you live in the apartment block right next to it.

It's great living near grilby's especially since there are no protesters any more. They were a real pain for the first few years.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I yeeted that bitch to the wall. I sigh before heading to the kitchen to get coffee. I checked my phone for the time, it was 9:00am. You also saw a message from grillby it said ' Y/n I need you to take over my shift for today, I have some business to attend to. You can leave at the end of my
shift '. I sigh and go to change, you quickly yell "WHY ", before going to change.

(Time skip - ready to leave)

I checked my outfit to make sure it was appropriate. Grillby didn't have a dress code so I could wear whatever but it had to be appropriate. I was wearing long black pants and a F/C shirt. That was good enough. After that I headed straight to grillby's.

I entered the bar and went straight to the back of the bar to get my apron.
That's when a customer walked in i didn't recognise the short skeleton monster but the way every one in the bar greeted him he must me a well known customer.

The skeleton was short and had a blue jacket, black board shorts with a white stripe on the sides and ...
Pink slippers. He had waters taste in clothes but it looked good on him.

I stopped looking at him and went to go dry glasses untill someone orders something. The skeleton sat him self at the bar right infrount of me. I could sense he was staring at me so I dried the last glass and went over to him. " Do you want anything sir", I asked him in a friendly voice. " The names sans, sans the skeleton and could ya get me some ketchup kid" he replied. You were confused about his order but just got him a bottle of grillby's home made ketchup.

I placed the bottle of ketchup in front of him. "Uhh do you want anything else with that sir", I said, he shook his skull and opened the ketchup bottle. Then I watched him as he just ,drank
it. I was completely stunned as he 'skulled ' the hole ketchup bottle in one go. " S-sir I know grillby's ketchup is good but it's not that g-good ", I shuttered out, he just laughed. " Kid you gotta stop callin me sir " he said with a big shit eating grin. " Ok sans stop skulking about it", I said with a giggle, were as sans bursts out laughing.

The rest of my shift was spent talking to sans, telling bad puns and a skele-ton of jokes. I had to go to grilbz office to check the time so I excused sans and headed towards the office. I pulled out my phone and checked the time. It was 6:10pm ,shit I worked over time I was ment to Finnish  10 minutes ago. I took of my apron and went to the bar. Sans was no were to be seen only a note.

The note read:
"Put it on my tab "
Followed by a phone number. Under that it said:
"Call me, incase ya wanna hang out some time
~sans~"
I happily put the note in my pocket and leave the bar.

When I get home I flop on my couch, dispite it being 7:00pm, I was tired as fuck so I fell asleep.
