Sonic's P.O.V.
"Sonic?" I heard a familiar voice call me from the distance as I tried to get off Shadow's grip. My eyes were tightly shut, and my heart was pounding from the fear that I might die.

"Sonic?!" The voice got louder as Shadow's grip loosened. I tried to open my eyes, but suddenly I couldn't breathe or move.

"You're nothing..." Shadow whispered in my ear before he disappeared, his evil smirk shattering my heart completely.

"Sonic!" I gasped and quickly sat up as I panted heavily, holding my neck, tears rolling down my muzzle like a waterfall. I was in a hospital, many odd looking machines around me.

I looked around for a bit when I spotted Tails.

"Sonic! Are you okay?" Tails asked me with worry in his voice. I slowly nodded and tried to speak, but my throat hurt badly, so I started coughing. I groaned and rubbed my neck to calm the pain.

"Don't talk." Tails said as I glared at him. He asked me a question first. why was it my fault?

"I found you in the park, you were beat up and crying in your sleep, I tried to find Shadow, but he's disappeared. I promise I'll find him though, don't worry." Tails smiled softly and tried to calm me down.

I dropped my ears and quickly shook my head as I felt the pain coming back by hearing his name. My hands started shaking, and my eyes watered as I remembered his words, I couldn't hold it and broke down. How could I be so stupid? So naive? It was obvious he was using me, that he was just doing it for his own enjoyment, that he was faking everything.

"Sonic?! Did I say something wrong? I'm so sorry, I'll bring Shadow back, I promise." Tails rubbed my back and quickly apologised, but Shadow's smirk was all I could think of.

My body felt numb, and the physical pain was nothing compared to the pain in my heart, I trusted him, I told him my weaknesses, I let him touch me... I let him use me...

"Sonic...? Please talk to me..." Tails said softly as he kept rubbing my back, I didn't want to be touched in any way do I slapped his hand away and snapped.

"Leave me alone...!" I didn't care how much my throat hurt, I wanted to be alone, to hide from everyone and everything, but first.

I had to make Shadow pay.
