We all sat around a curved table enjoying food that was given to us, well me and Shade were the rest were poking at their food.

"Try the horned wasp eggs, deeelicious!" Chen said from his little throne.

Lloyd made a disgusted face as I picked one and plopped it into my mouth.

"Uh I think I'll pass."

"How are you even eating that?" Jay asked me.

"When you live on the streets for a bit you get a taste for anything that comes your way edible or non edible." I replied with a shrug.

The ninja turned to me and gave me sympathetic looks, which I ignored.

I instead tuned into whatever Chen was saying.

"And I must congratulate the Master of Shadow's defeat over the Master of Poison, she was a bit hard to swallow am I right?"

The kabukis laughed at Chen's "joke".

Chen being the child he is wasn't satisfied.

"Laugh harder!" He ordered.

The poor kabukis forced out a harder laugh while clapping their hands.

Kai leaned back. "You can relax Lloyd, even if there is a fight, now that we told the others about Chen's dirty plot to steal our powers we're safe in our secret alliance."

Griffin joined in. "I tried to enlist Shadow but dude is throwing some serious shade."

I snorted.

"Well if you plan to stop Chen you'll need everyone on board. Each fighter that loses gives him strength, soon he'll be too powerful for all of you combined to overcome." Garmadon explained.

"It has come to my attention that there are rumors floating around that I am stealing everyone's powers..... I am." Chen announced

With this revelation came a chorus of gasps as Chen continued.

"But it is all for my staff." He clapped his hands which prompted the kabukis to pose while shaking their fans. "No no, not you staff, I mean my real staff."

A door opened revealing the staff that he has been seen carrying around.

"The staff of elements, it holds the power of your fallen foes, soon it will hold all the power except one, for the last standing in the tournament will win this prize and be the greatest fighter in Ninjago history." He explained.

The othe Masters started whispering as Lloyd stood up.

"You lie!" He exclaimed. "What about the spell?"

"Spell? What spell?" Clouse asked.

Gosh, I just want to rip out his vocal cords.

Lloyd turned to the masters.

"Don't believe him, it's just another trick. Neuro read Clouse's mind and saw it, tell them what you saw Neuro."

Clouse turned his haze onto Neuro which caused the Master of Mind to hesitate.

"I-i don't remember, truthfully I'm more curious on knowing more about that staff."

"And why should we be so quick to believe everything you say? How do we know your not lying to get the staff for yourself?" Griffin asked.

Wasn't he on our side literally a minute ago?

Garmadon muttered something.

"If we're gonna convince anyone argh-" Jay got interrupted when a kabuki fan got to close to his face. "We need proof Ugh, we need to oh find that spell. Would you cut that out!" He yelled at the poor girl.

"Jay! It's me!"

"Nya!"

"Lower your voices!" She hissed. "I'm undercover, and to be honest, a bit out of my element, and I heard what happened between you and Cole, that was big of you both." She put her hand on Jay's shoulder.

"Love is like war Nya, everyone gets hurt."

Wow what a poet.

"Anyone want to fill me in?" I asked.

"Oh this is Nya my sister, Nya this is Echo. She's been helping us out." Kai introduced.

She gave me a small wave.

"Is it just you here sis?" Kai asked.

"Darreth's also here." She held out her braclet which is really pretty and a voice started speaking.

"What up ninja."

"And in contact with Wu via mobile base."

"If your undercover that means you can get close to Clouse's spell book, all we know is that it's on page 149. I think it's in his quarters." Kai said.

"I'll look into it." Nya promised. "And it sounds like you have your work cut out for you too."

"How so?" Jay asked.

"How do you think they found out about your little alliance, someone in your circle of trust is a spy." She informed.

​​​​I blame Garmadon.

"A spy!" Everyone said catching the attention of Clouse, which caused Nya to go back to her dancing.

Skylor walked over to us.

"Do you know that servant girl?"

"Uh- know that girl? Of course not, why jealous?" Kai said.

Skylor handed him a piece of paper. "My fortune tells me that Cole and your friend Zane will be breaking out. You're lucky this didn't end up in the wrong hands." She said before walking back to her seat.

"He found Zane, I can't believe it. Thanks Skylor it's good to know there are some people here we can trust." Kai said even though she was too far away to hear him.

"A spy, who do you think it is?" Jay asked.

"I have my suspicions." Lloyd said glaring at Shade.

"So do I." Garmadon announced looking straight at me.

"Me? What did I do?" I can't believe he's accusing me.

"Your the closest one to us here, it makes sense that Chen's spy would get as close as possible to get the best info."

"What do I know that the other Masters don't?"

"I dont know, but if it is you, you'll regret it."

^Time skip^

All the remaining Elemental Masters were in Kai's room, I have no idea how we got permission to get in here, but here we are.

"Like I said, I ain't joining your little alliance, I'm gunning for that staff." Shade said.

"Hey, this isn't about the alliance, its about finding the spy, no-one is leaving this room, until we find out who is passing information to Chen." Lloyd said.

"Why you looking at me greenie?" Shade asked. "I'm not your spy."

"Perhaps I can help." Neuro said as he started reading our minds. "I don't know who it is, but someone here isn't who they say they are."

"How do we know we can trust you." Skylor said eyes flashing. "Maybe I should use your powers to see inside your head."

Why did she come for him so fast?

I'd like to see you try, power hoarder."

The two of them, angry, got in eachothers face.

Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss.

"This is what Chen wants, for us to fight, there has to be a more civilised way of figuring this out." Kai said separating the two of them.

"There is, everyone who has ever worked for Chen has an Anacondrai tattoo on their back, find the tattoo find the spy." Garmadon said.

"Anyond object?" Lloyd asked.

Rolling his eyes Neuro pulled down his shirt to show his bare skin.

"Can I go now?"

"Not until everyone in this room is checked." Lloyd said.

We all lined up, I was the third to last person, just before Skylor and Shade.

When it got to my turn I swept my hair onto my opposite shoulder and pulled down my shirt feeling my cheeks turn pink, I just hope they wouldn't see IT.

I gave them enough time to look before quickly pulling it up, thinking no-one saw I walked away only for Garmadon to stop me.

"What's that on your back?" Suspicion evident in his voice.

Seriously the one thing I didn't want them to see and tge old man saw it? What kind of beedy eyes does he have and where can I get them?

I turned around. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"There was something on your back. What. Was. It."

I raised my chin and looked him defiantly in the eye.

"It's a burn mark. What's it got to do with you?"

I could see that Garmadon wanted to keep on going but Kai interrupted him.

"Sorry Sensei, but we need to keep on moving." He turned to Skylor. "Uh I hate to do this but it's your turn. Can I see your back please?"

Woah take that out of context.

"How could you not trust me? I came to you with the fortune cookie."

"I'm sorry but we have to know." Kai said sighing.

Before she could answer I noticed something.

"Where's Shade?"

"He must have dissappeared through his own shadow!"

Wow you think Jay?

Griffin spotted him. "Over there!"

Lloyd threw some of his green energy at him, but Shade dodged which caused a big painting of Kai to fall on Jay.

I ran over to help Jay, when I turned around everyone else was leaving the room.

"What happened to our alliance?" Jay asked.

"What alliance." Lloyd said defeated.

^Time skip^

I sat down on a step. Gently tugging my hair I went through my list of suspects of who could be the spy.

So far I had 3 suspects:

Griffin.

Skylor.

Garmadon.

Griffin seemed to be on our side but turned around so quickly accusing Lloyd of lying, it could be his way of taking out his most powerful opponent while keeping the spotlight off him. But he doesn't have a tattoo.... unless he used makeup.

Skylor seems tense and agitated whenever someone brings up the spy. She picked a fight with Neuro for nothing, maybe she thinks that Neuro is hiding something orrrr she's just putting the blame on someone else. She also could be using the power of form, but since I didn't get to see her back I couldn't tell.

Garmadon straight off the bat blamed me without any proof, however he was right about how Chen's spy probably would get as close to the ninja as possible. What better way to get close and be a spy than being a parent of one of the ninja? He also has a tattoo that everyone knows about, but to ensure that no-one questions him he piled suspicions on me.

Wow. This is going to be a lot harder than I thought.

I have a question.

So basically on another website I'm ahead with writing this story (I'm finishing S5) would you guys rather that I catch up with that on Wattpad or not. If I catch the updates will be like once a week and sometimes I dissappear for like a month without any warnings. If I don't catch up then you'll have updates every week without a pause.

So which one do you guys prefer.
