Of life we all must pass.
You showed me there was more to life

Why did you have to go so soon?

You had a great big life to lead
You left us in a hurry.

We were so different, you and I,

You were positivity.
We clashed at first, oh brother dear,
We fought like dog and cat.

You would insist on that.

We reached cooperation.
I came to think of you as brother

We became the best of friends,

Despite the car that took your life
I don't regret that course.

You do not walk this earth.

They were of endless worth.
You never spent a single thought
On worthless apathy.
You loved with fire all you loved

I used to hope that we were kin,
Distantly related.
But it never mattered, no.
We were brothers fated.
