Trainee name: Chao Xing

Our boy Levi does not go out without his twin anywhere.But since Ethan ditched him to go out for movies with a single ticket ,Levi decided to ditch him too. That's how he interviewed a trainee who goes by the name Chao Xing or simply Cho of Elysian Entertainment.

Levi was one to strongly believe that no human wakes up before the sun rises and that getting out of bed itself is working out. Apparently the trainee he was to interview was up before the sun and had been training at the gym a few hours prior to the interview.

Levi :Hi.I'm Levi Park from The Illumination magazine and I'm here to interview you.

Cho : *smiles

Levi :Firstly,thank you for doing this.How are you doing?

Cho :Hello Levi! I'm doing well. Thank u.. How are you doing?

Levi : (Who clearly did not expect such a pleasant person who woke up that early) I'm good. Thanks for asking.                                                                                                                                                           Tell me Cho ,What inspired you to join Elysian?

Cho :I love Singing. Singing is my passion. My friends say that I sing really well so I wanted to challenge myself by taking part in competitions. I found this company by chance and when I checked it I find it a good company so I wanna try out. Its basically a luck by chance opportunity for me and I promise that I'll try my best.

Levi : I'm sure you will.Were your parents supportive of you joining here?Who are or is your constant source of support?

Cho :Well they were kind of supportive.. My mom is okay with whatever career I choose.. However my dad said that I shouldn't do this for a long time(he wants me to become a doctor, Engineer or lawyer). Basically he's worried about me because he knows that being a trainee is difficult and it affects you a lot. So I can say that they are kinda supportive. I'm lucky to have such supportive parents.My friends are my lifeline. They are my constant support. They encouraged me to continue singing even though my family wasn't really supportive of it.

Levi : Good to hear that! You have such caring parents and lovely friends. You must be very lucky (Thinks of the brother who ditched him).Are you still in school?If so,how do you manage schoolwork and the training?

Cho :Yes, I'm still in school. I'm 16 years old. I'm half chinese half Veitnamese but I've been living in India for 3 years. Studies in India are tough (not more tough than China) but I have to complete a lot of lessons every day. However, I try to cope up with it by staying up late at night. After all, when life gives you lemons, eat it!

Levi : *laughs at the motivational quote*. Are you a soloist or are you in a band?What position do you keep?

Cho :I'm a soloist.

Levi : Ah,nice.How is life as a trainee?Is it hard?Are you able to cope with it?Do you feel homesick?

Cho :Life as a trainee is difficult.. As I said, I try to cope up with my routine life by staying up late at night. I sometimes feel homesick.. However, my parents and friends call me everyday and I feel good after that.

Levi :Great! What do you do when you get a day off?

Cho :When I get a day off, I study, practice and listen to music. Being a trainee made me realized how popular groups like Shinee, Stray kids, Exo, BTS, Blackpink, Ateez had to struggle to reach where they are today.

Levi : A kid with a sense of responsibility... Good. Have you always wanted to be a idol or was it a quick decision?

Cho :I wanted to become an idol but I couldn't have even become a trainee if it wasn't my friends .

Levi :What are your plans once you make it big?What are your expectations for the future?

Cho :If I make it big.. I would want all parents to be supportive to their children and let them do whatever they want. I would try to convince my father that life as a idol is tough.. But its worth it. Right now I haven't yet thought much about future. I like to think about present.

Cho :Thank you for interviewing me. My English might not be good as I'm half Chinese half Veitnamese but I'm still learning from my mom(she knows English quite well, because she's Veitnamese). Thank you so much once again *bows down*
