Lexi's pain
Okay so Lexi has always been in a bad mental state but now, well, you'll see . . .
⚠️The following contains major physical pain and some gore ⚠️
Lexi shook her head and leaned into Bea's side. Her hands dropped onto her lap. "I-I-I-It's them." She said, still trembling. "Th-th-they hate me. W-want me to kill them . . ." She said. What she said might have sounded like jibberish to a stranger, but she didn't think she could say anymore. The voices didn't want her saying anything but she knew Bea could help. Although, each time she disobeyed them, the pain increased. She whimpered and more tears fell. The pain reminded her of that one night. The night everything changed, for her at least. Suddenly she was right back there, in that same room. Lexi squirmed around. "No!" She protested. She was strapped to a table. The warden stood over her with two round metal pieces. "Hopefully this will help you learn not to disobey us." He said and pressed the metal pieces to either side of her head. Lexi let out a blood curling scream, one you hear in horror movies but filled with pain. Tears streamed down her face. Then it was done. She thought she must be dead, a shock like that should've fried her brain. But she could still hear the warden. "Take her back to her cage." He said to someone and the girl was picked up. She didn't open her eyes, what if she was dead? But she felt the cold hard ground as the guards threw her to the ground in her cage and she realized she wasn't dead. But, how? That's when she heard them, the voices. They told her they were the ones who'd protected her. They promised to always help her and they would never leave. Then the scene changed. Everything turned red and the voices turned harsh. /They/ were the ones causing the pain. She was standing in something warm and sticky . . . blood?! She shook her head and backed away, but she stumbled over something. She turned around and screamed in horror. There were so many corpses . . . She recognized Bea's immediately and she whirled around, running. But this was all in her mind. On the outside, Lexi was trembling with tears streaming from her closed eyes. She kept mumbling something. "No . . . my fault . . ."
