PATRIOTISM
 
Joseph garibaldi, the great italian fighter for the unity and independence of italy , in a fiery speech urged some thousand young men to fight for the freedom of their homeland.
One young fellow approached him, asking, "if i fight , sir, what will be my reward?"
Swift as a lightning flash came the uncompromising answer , "wounds, scars, bruises, and perhaps death . But remember that through your bruises Italy will be free".

This is true, we just fight to save our skins, we should fight for our country, this actually reminds me of joan of arc, she was also a fierce leader who changed the soldiers minds. Anyways apart from patriotism , we also learn that we should never expect anything to do our work , we should just do it and wait for the fruit.
