Forty-Eight
I was being dragged to an unrecognized place, away from the ballroom. My feet cold, the carpet below my feet was shifting or I was. Nothing was clear at that moment, just pure nothingness of what is about to come our way. To the contrary of the fact, I was hundred percent sure of the fact that Kai wasn't allowed to do anything to anyone. He couldn't hurt Ten cause he was just way too attached to him. As a minuscule chance even if he did then Jin and Joon would make sure to physically erase him and his mafia party.
"I see you aren't stressed." Kai stopped me in front of a big wooden gate and looked at my confident self with mystery in his eyes. Not a slight spark of aggression or irritation, just pure cool was visible on Kai's face.
"Looks like it." he was underestimating us, or he literally had something so powerful which would force us to drag ourselves towards destruction. Maybe a family secret, or maybe a bribe which was hefty on another level. Either way our preparation for this day wasn't lacking but it was way too early to presume that either of the parties' were winning.
"Why would you hurt Ten? You won't if you want the Kim Empire." I trailed off and looked at the door in front of me. I could feel his gaze trail from my face to scan my body. "Who said I would do it?" and then he pushed the door ajar open. The whole Bangtan on gun points with Ten in the centre of the room. He was cuffed and tied to a chair.
His lips charred, his chest filled with bruises and cuts so much that a trace of his white milk skin was not visible from a distance. Blindfolded, panting heavy breathes with his chapped lips. His shoulder wound was exposed, I almost felt guilty for giving that. No matter how much bullshit he put us into, now that he was a family member and blood related made everything change.
"Here's how this is gonna work." Kai said as he pulled out the dagger he had in his pocket. Looking from my shoulder I expected to see a shred of humanity from him. But disappointment this day hit new heights.
"One of them is gonna beat the infamous Ten." his eyes were on Bangtan. They weren't afraid, they were confident even on gunpoints. The mysterious expressions they were on their faces ensured the fact that they found something worth risking everything.
A smirk covered Kai's face, his eyes fixed on a certain someone. "Jimin." it was all too intentional. The man behind Jimin holding the gun pulled the barrel as a warning sign for Jimin to move forward. Jimin, stranded on his position, the man behind him pushed him further.
Kai's death grip on my wrist loosened as he throwed the dagger at Jimin's feet. I kept staring at the two men, trying to decipher an expression out of their perfervid moves. "Not today Kai." that escalated fast.
And then came the feeling of cold metal against my temple. The sound of pulling the barrel resonated through my ears. For a second my eyes closed. But when they opened I saw Jimin gazing at me. His mouth straight, as he was bargaining but the shopkeeper didn't let him.
"Last I checked, you don't want to see her dead." overconfidence was flooding Kai, defeat engulfing Jimin's soul. He bent down and picked the piece of blade. With his cold feet, he dragged himself in front of Ten.
Jin was piercing right through Jimin's soul, as if he was calling and it seemed to work. Jimin before gripping the dagger exchanged a look with Jin. They were waiting for that right moment to strike in. Wherein they could attack and defend at the same time. But that moment seemed to be lost in the void of the cold white room filled with ammunition.
Before Jimin could start the slight click of the door diverted our attention. The figure at this point of time we never prayed for showing up did. God for sure was on our side. Just not today.
"Jaehyun." His name rolled off Kai's mouth so effortlessly. "Hyung, what did I miss?" he asked as he was the scriptwriter and we were acting the scenes. Jimin's jaw clenched as Jaehyun checked me out. I rolled my eyes to heaven but I came back to my senses when I saw Jimin now watching Ten, would he really beat him? In a condition like this?
"Jimin, should I pull the trigger?" Kai asked him again. A sympathetic look covered Jimin as he lightly punched Ten in his stomach. A series of punches was followed, this time they were stronger.
Ten spit blood after every second, his color was turning paler and fresh bruises were engulfing his body like a raptured tide on a moonlit night. Taehyung and Jungkook meanwhile looked at each other, waiting for a stimulus. What took me by storm was the fact that out of six four of the members were looking at me, as if I would say some mantra and everything would go back to normal.
Jimin punched Ten harder and he screamed. His shrill voice blurred my vision. Hands held back, on a fucking gun point and on top of that in these heels were making the situation worse.
Wait.
Heels, with every ounce of force I had left in my body I lifted my foot and stomped Kai, he lost his balance but soon retrieved his feet. It was just way too late.
Taehyung's face changed to one of a maniac. A maniac driven too crazy and who was bloodthirsty for his enemies. He kicked the person behind him and drove a blade through his neck. Meanwhile Yoongi and Jungkook were shooting every round of the ammunition.
Jimin soon uncuffed Ten and handed him to Jin. Then started his purge, he dug his hands in his belt and took two knives out. A man came in front of him and he slammed his knives into the opponent's chest. The game didn't stop here. Rather he dragged the knives down, his flesh became visible to the naked eye, blood oozing out and at that given second my brain felt nauseous.
Till the time Kai got a grip of my hair. Rather than struggling, I ducked down and punched his lower abdomen. It loosened his grip and that was all I needed to attack him.
He was bigger, he was stronger, he was by far more trained. This was a test. Of the training I gained from the past six years, every tear I shed when I was being pulled to that room. Every punch I received from my brothers and every time I wiped my blood and stood up again has dragged me to this day. My muscles were tightening, everything darkening but I was prepared. As Kai slammed me on the wall again and punched me in the abdomen for the millionth time I regained my consciousness and wiped the blood on the corner of my mouth.
"Let's end this Jin, you'll walk free no one harmed ever again if you hand me the Kim empire." our money was made by the hardship of the good family members, the nasty corrupt hoes for money bad members. My father wasn't the best but our mother was something glueing the empire from falling apart. She may no longer be here with us but somehow Jin and I had to make sure to carry her legacy.
Bangtan had to make sure that they were sticking to the idea of 'bad for good'
"Get this fucking thought in your little brain that Kim empire is mine. You hear it, it's mine. I'm the bloody owner of this and it's my karma which got me here. Good or bad what is mine stays with me." Jin's aggression was hitting a new height as our eyes widened to see a Jin we never even imagined to witness.
"It's an inevitable family Kai, you can't tear it apart." the words rolled off my tongue, even in my wrecked state I was not broken, in fact with more wounds and scars to carry I felt more powerful.
"You think you are family?" his intricate statement made me nod my head. I scanned the looks of every member and they stood tall with their chests heaving up and down. The fight seemed to come to a pause. Everyone was frozen in their positions.
Except Jimin, his eyes casted down. Grip on the weapons loose and his blond hair caked with sweat. I scanned his face, tried to make something out of it but nothing. Null and void.
"I sometimes think how you fell for a man like Jimin." Kai said and blinked twice, his jawline moving again and again. "Best Hitman, best among the Bangtan..."
"But also a murderer." I was secretly waiting for myself to snap back in reality. For someone to drag me out of a non-existent oblivion but none did. Cause this was all reality. Why was his statement made the whole room quiet? Why did Namjoon choose to be silent rather than slapping everyone with his answers? Why did Taehyung and Jungkook's faces filled with emotions seem to be lacking them? Why did Yoongi and Hoseok be barefaced? Why was Jin so silenced, as if he slipped into a void from which he could never return?
Why is Jimin not looking in my eyes like the way he always did?
"He killed your Mother Kim Ayla."

Happy new year if you're reading this. Let's start this by taking a resolution of the fact that whoever says anything to anyone and if it's bad then we'll make sure to punch the shit outta them. Everyone has feelings, also the celebrities. Things people say during trolling can be read and they can stand etched in people's memories' for a long time. I'm saying this becasue of the recent events which took place.
Also I'm highly sorry for a chap like this. I wrote this chapter 3-4 times and I'm still not satisfied. Thank you. Vote and comment if you wish to go on a concert after the world is normal.
