The next morning, I felt an arm on me. I blushed when I realized Itachi had his arm on me in his sleep. 

I opened my eyes, seeing he was still asleep and his arm was around me. 

I didn't want to move because I liked it. 

He woke up and realized that his arm was around me. He moved it quickly and looked a bit embarrassed.

"I'll go uh, make us something to eat," I said and got up from the bed. 

I went to my kitchen and just grabbed some leftover stir-fry that we had last night and warmed it up. He came out of my room and I handed a plate over to him.

"Do you know when you'll be going?" I asked. I didn't want him to leave, but I didn't know when he planned on going.

"My eyes are almost done recovering. Maybe for another week since I used them again yesterday," He said.

"Oh, okay," 

I didn't want him to go.

"I know you're upset," He said. "But you know it has to happen. I'm a criminal and you're a kunoichi of the Leaf,"

"I know," I sighed. "I just wish you could stay,"

He didn't say a word and kept staring at me. I was too shy to look at him and grabbed both of our plates when we finished eating and put them in the sink. I had to do dishes soon, but I was too lazy at the moment.

"I'll do the dishes for you since you've been cooking meals lately," He said and stood up.

"No, it's okay. I can-" 

"It's the least I can do. You've been cooking meals for us and I have to repay you somehow," 

He walked over to the sink and started washing the dishes. 

I wanted to spend some more time with him since he'll leave next week. 

He finished doing the dishes and he caught me looking at him again. He didn't comment on it and went over to my couch to find a book to read. I wanted to do something with him today, but I couldn't decide what.

"We should go somewhere," I said.

"That wouldn't work for many reasons," He replied.

"I know, but maybe we should sneak out somewhere. Like at a hot spring when it's closed or something like that," 

"That's not a good idea," 

"Come on, please? I want to spend time with you before you leave," 

I realized what I said and quickly slapped a hand over my mouth. Oh no.

He gave me that small smile like he did last night and put the book down. 

"Well, I guess we can do that. I just don't want to change into a cat again," 

"Hey, it's the only disguise that works," I shrug. 

I know there are other disguises he can use, but I like seeing him as a cat. I find it extremely cute. 

"Hn,"

Now I can see where Sasuke got that from. I chuckled and went to my room to get some clothes ready to go to the hot springs. I knew there was one that wasn't too far away from my apartment, but far enough so no one would see me around.

I've avoided my friends lately, so I'm hoping they don't try to visit. If anything, they probably think I'm a crazy cat lady since I have "Stormy" now. I still had to find a black cat who was named Stormy after he leaves.

After I got my clothes ready, I went back over to my couch and he was laying on it, taking a nap. I didn't wake him up and went to my bathroom to go take a shower. After finishing my shower, I decided to go do laundry to pass some time until it gets late enough for the hot springs to close. Itachi woke up and went to my bathroom to go shower as well.

There were only five more hours now until the hot springs closed and now Itachi and I were in my room together.

We started talking about things in our pasts, a few stories about Shisui, and he even told me about Sasuke while he grew up with him. Apparently, Itachi had a mission with his team where he wore cat ears and ran into talking cats. I think I would like to see him in cat ears now. 

I told Itachi about how I used to wrestle my two brothers when we were kids. 

"I remember after wrestling them, my mother would get annoyed with my 'childishness', but then there were a few times where she told me I was stronger than the two of them and that I should have no problem wrestling them," I chuckled. 

"I think I remember hearing about her. Wasn't her name Biwako?" 

"Yes, she was killed when the Nine-Tails attacked the village. Dad didn't really give me the details. He just told me she was killed when that happened," I replied. "We didn't have the best relationship growing up, but she's still my mother. I love her and I wish that things could've been different,"

He gave me a look of sympathy.

"I know one day I'll be with her again, so maybe our relationship will be different then," I continued.

I looked over at the time and saw that the hot springs were closed now. 

"Let's go," I said. "Better turn into 'Stormy' now," 

I smirked as Itachi used the transformation jutsu and turned into the black cat. I picked him up and walked outside of my apartment, locking it behind me. I avoided people walking home as much as possible and sneaked around the back of the hot springs, after seeing it was closed now.

"Okay, we're here now," I said and put Itachi down.

"No one is around, so you can stop being 'Stormy'," I chuckled.

He changed back into his regular self and we used our chakra to climb up the walls that covered the hot springs. 

Once we were at the top, we jumped down and feeling the steam from the water felt nice. 

"You can get in first," Itachi said and turned around so I could strip down and go in.

After that, I let him know I was in and I did the same. 

"I'm in now," Itachi said and I turned back around. 

I blushed, knowing that he was undressed with me. Thankfully the heat would hide the fact that I was blushing.

We both relaxed in the hot spring and it was even more relaxing knowing that no one was here since it was 11 o' clock at night. 

"I told you this was a good idea," I said to him.

"I guess you did," He chuckled.

I liked this side of Itachi. We grew closer and he was actually opening up to me and surprisingly showed some emotion towards me. I know he doesn't show emotion, so it was shocking that he would do it towards me. I guess he trusted me since we both were close to Shisui.

I went under the water and then moved closer to him. 

I popped my head up at the surface and sat next to him. I decided to make a bold move by lying my head on his shoulder. He didn't question it, so I didn't say anything about it. I wished we could be like this forever. 

We stayed like this, enjoying the peacefulness.

"When does this hot spring open?" Itachi asks.

"I think at 8:00 am, so we should probably leave in like an hour," I said.

He nodded and to my surprise, he rested his head on mine. 

He was giving me mixed signals right now. 

"See why I think you should come back to the Leaf Village? I'm sure my father would understand if you tell him everything about Shisui," I said.

He just sighed.

"I can't,"

"Why not?"

"Because me betraying the Leaf is much more complicated than that and I don't think you need to know," He said.

"But why not?"

"Sometimes, the truth is better left unsaid,"

"Can you at least give me a small bit of detail?"

"I already told you a part of it when I told you about Shisui," Itachi said. "I'm not going to tell you because you don't need to know. As I said, the truth is better left unsaid," 

"What are you talking about? When you said the Uchiha were placed under surveillance because of the Leaf Village mistrusting them?"

Itachi nodded.

I was puzzled even more now, but I didn't push since Itachi told me he didn't want to tell me. It annoyed me slightly though.

As time passed, we decided it was time to leave the hot springs and we took turns getting out and getting dressed.

After that, we climbed back up the wall and jumped down. Itachi turned back into the cat and I picked him up and started walking home. I was ready for bed and I think he was too.

I took a shortcut to my house and got there quicker. 

After I got inside my house, I put him down and then locked up. 

We both got dressed and lied down on my bed.

I made sure Itachi was asleep and then I made a bold move by moving closer to him and rested my head on his arm. He moved his arm around me and I smiled. I didn't know if he did it instinctively in his sleep, or if he knew what I was doing. All I did know, is that I liked this. I knew it was wrong, but it felt so right at the same time.
