This can't be happening.

My reasonable side told me to just leave him alone and my impulsive side wanted me to go down there and just be with him.

Which side do you think I listened to? Obviously not the reasonable side.

I jumped down from the tree and I cautiously approached him. He heard me and looked alarmed, so he instantly stood up while holding his eyes.

"Kasumi?" He asks, with surprise.

"Itachi,"

I noticed his eyes were bleeding. What happened to him?

"What are you doing here?" He asks.

"What happened to your eyes? Are you okay?" I asked, ignoring his question, and quickly got closer to him.

He backed away from me. 

Ouch.

"What are you doing?" He asked and opened his eyes to look at me. They looked normal, but blood was running down his face.

"I'm trying to care for you. You can trust me, okay?" I insisted.

"You shouldn't care for me," He said, in his monotone voice.

"Well, I do,"

No response from him.

"Now tell me, what did you do to your eyes?"

"I just overused my sharingan is all. This is where I come to recuperate,"

"So your eyes just bleed because you overuse them? Why?"

"Because it puts a lot of pressure on my eyes,"

"Then don't overuse them," I said and took a tissue out to wipe the blood from his face. He didn't even react. He just let me do it.

"I'm your enemy, Kasumi. Why do you care about me?"

I didn't know how to answer that.

"Because I just do,"

Being close to him made my feelings even worse.

He was weakened too, so he couldn't really push me away.

"How long does it take for your eyes to recover?" I ask.

"About a week," He said.

"A week? You shouldn't be out in the open for that long, someone might find you,"

"I can't just check in a motel room without them recognizing me and again, you really shouldn't burden yourself with me since we're technically enemies,"

"Just come stay with me so you can recover safely," I insisted.

"That's not a good idea for many reasons," He said as he sat down on the rock.

"You're able to sneak in the village, so why not stay with me for a week? It beats being out in the open. I don't have neighbors directly next to me either, only down the street,"

"No, I'm just going to stay here,"

I know I should just let him be, but I just can't bring myself to let him stay there. Plus he was injured, so I would stress myself even worse by worrying about him being out here.

"It's not safe. I heard you make noise from a distance and you're lucky it's just me who found you,"

No response.

"Please just come with me. I don't care if you tell me I shouldn't care about you, because I do care about you,"

"....Fine,"

I was relieved that he was coming with me. Plus he was injured anyway so he needed to rest.

I smiled a little and then started thinking of a way to get him inside the village without using his sharingan.

"Were you crying?" He asks.

I completely forgot my eyes were red and puffy still.

"Nope. Just allergies,"

"Okay, how am I supposed to sneak you in the village now? You can't knock the guards out with your genjutsu because I can't risk you going blind,"

"Maybe you could distract them?" He suggests.

"Yes. Then we can take the back way to my house. That road is ancient, so no one really goes there,"

I know this was insane, but when you have a hopeless crush on someone, any reasonable thoughts are gone.

I told him to go towards the back entrance to the village and I entered through the front to make sure Izumo or Kotetsu wouldn't suspect anything.

I entered through the gates and they smiled politely.

"How was the walk?" Izumo asks.

"Great, I was just stressed out about something and it cleared my head," I sort of lied.

"That's good." Kotetsu said.

So I walked through the village and headed towards the back entrance where he snuck me in the last time.

I had to find a way to get those guards out for a short amount of time. I had an idea when I saw Naruto walking by.

"Hey, Naruto!" I called.

He turned and saw me, then walked over to me.

"Hey Kasumi, how are you?" He asks.

Conveniently, Ebisu was over there talking to the guards and I knew how much of a sucker he is for attractive women.

"Good. Want to pull a prank on Ebisu?" I grinned mischievously at him.

Naruto smirked. "I like the way you think."

So Naruto weaves some signs and suddenly turns into a naked woman with large breasts. Clouds covered her breasts and her nether regions. Ebisu looked over and his face flushed into a crimson color while blood gushed out of his nose.

He couldn't form any words and Naruto winked at him.

The guards weren't affected by this, but I knew they would help Ebisu by bringing him to his house or something.

Ebisu suddenly passes out and I smirked. I know I'm a little childish, but I always found that funny.

Naruto suddenly poofed back into his normal self and gave me a high five.

"That was hilarious!" He laughed.

"Yeah, it was," I laughed with him.

Naruto had to go and I saw the guards just sigh and shake their heads. One of them knelt down and started poking him, but he was just passed out.

The second one slung Ebisu over his shoulder and they both left to bring him somewhere else.

That's when I turned off the alarms for a little bit because Itachi told me the code to deactivate them for five minutes.

Once I did that, I opened the gate and let him in.

I shut the door and we rushed to take the back roads to my house.

We didn't talk because we didn't want to take the chance of drawing attention to ourselves. I also had to not eat out and just make home-cooked meals for a while just to make sure no one would find out he's here.

I reached the gate that goes to my backyard and jumped it so I could unlock it and let him in.

Once he stepped through, I locked it back up, and then we went through my glass sliding doors. I had to keep those doors locked now, just in case someone tried to go through there. I also closed the blinds. No one lived behind me, but still.

I let out a sigh of relief that this worked.

"So um, there's a shower down the hall and towels are in the linen closet. I don't have any clothes for you to change into, so I'll just wash the ones you're wearing right now," I said.

He went to the bathroom and then told me his clothes are in the hall, then shut the door.

I picked up his clothes and did my laundry with his clothes.

While I did laundry, I had to take precautions to make sure no one had a reason to come over. I remembered telling my dad that I had the flu, so I had to go down and let him know I'm fine and it was just a bug or something like that.

I also had to take the key out from under the mat outside and keep my doors locked.

I've sneaked Gin in my house when I was younger, so I knew how to sneak someone and what precautions to take.

Once the clothes were done washing, I switched them over to the dryer and decided to go out and take care of everything so this plan goes smoothly.

I left Itachi a note stating that I'm going out to buy groceries and to make sure no one has a reason to come over, then I slid the note under the bathroom door. I also took my key with me so I could get back inside my apartment.

I can't believe I'm doing this.
