Part 25 - Throwback 3

Since you have heard about my adventure with the company of Thorin Oakenshield, you may be wondering how I found them. Maybe how my life was before. This is from one of my first memories, with my three big brothers.

"Aspect, come on!," my oldest brother, Teeko yelled to me, as normal I was behind all of them while running in the fields as wolves. "I am coming!," I ran as fast I could, but it wasn't fast since I was just around seven years old.

"You are always so slow," the smallest of my three big brothers, Duke said to me, as he gave me a push with is nose. "Baron help her," he said to Baron that was in front of us. "Okay, if I need to," Baron said, as he lifted me up after the skin of my neck. "Ouch, you aren't as careful as mum," I yelped to him. "No I aren't," Baron murmured as he got me up at Teeko's back.

"Where are we going?," I asked as I laughed. It was always funny to sit at Teeko's back where I could see anything. We came closer to the forbidden forest, as I called it. Our father had said to us that we weren't allowed to enter the forest alone.

I tried to stop Teeko from going closer to the forest. I was scared for it, and what was inside it. I had heard strange sounds coming from it, but I had been in there some few times before with my dad. "Teeko, stop, stop," I said to him as I tapped him on the head with my paw. "Aspect we aren't that near the forest, just relax," Teeko said as he slowed down. "You know I don't like the forest anyway," I said as I looked down at the ground, ready to jump.

Teeko stopped, and I jumped down from his back. When I landed on the ground, I rolled around some times, before I got on my feet. "Mother said we needed to be back home before afternoon," I heard Duke said. I turned around and saw Baron look up at the sun. "We have more time, but I think we need to get back home soon," he said.

Teeko just stood and looked into the forest. "Teeko, is something wrong?," I asked. "I don't know... Something is here," he said, but didn't look at me.

"Run," he said. A second after something big jumped out of the forest. I hadn't time to see what it was, before Teeko grabbed the skin of my neck and ran. Baron and Duke was already many feet away from us, but Teeko reached them fast. "Baron, take Aspect and just run, I will stop it," Teeko said as he placed me on Baron's back. Baron just nodded as an answer.

I looked behind us, and saw an orc come after us. It wasn't as big as many other orcs, or as I had been told were they very big. Teeko turned around and faced the orc. The orc hadn't any weapons as I could see, but waved his arms around him and made many rare sounds. Teeko jumped up at the orc and bit him in the neck. The orc screamed loud, as he fell to the ground, but he wasn't the only one who screamed. Teeko screamed as he turned around to us again and tried to run after us. We had stopped and turned against him. I saw the pain in his face, as he slowly came against us.

"He is hurt! We need to help him!," I said as I jumped of Baron's back and landed on the ground. The orc wasn't moving. It was dead. I ran to Teeko, and saw a knife in his foot. "It's not a long way home. Duke, run home and find dad. I need help to get back home. I killed the orc," Teeko said. "Back in some minutes," Duke said, before he ran home.

"Teeko are you sure you are alright?," I asked him as I looked at his foot. The knife was stabbed into his ankle, and I could see some of it on the other side of the ankle too. Teeko breathed heavily. "Yes," he said. "As long as I don't change into human, this will be okay," he said, looking up from the wound and at me.

"You are all going to die," I heard a low voice say behind me. I looked behind me and saw the orc facing me, as he still lay on the ground. "Your family is going to get haunted by the orcs, and you can't stop it." The orc's then lay his head down at the ground with a bang, and lay still.

"I was sure he was dead," Teeko said with sadness in his voice. I looked back at my two brothers. "What he said-," I began, but Baron stopped me. "No Aspect, don't listen to him. He is lying," Baron came closer to me.

"But he-."

"No Aspect."

I wanted to talk about it. For a seven year old, it was hard to understand, it was so many questions to ask. "We will talk with dad about it," Teeko said.

"Teeko!," I looked ahead home, and saw my dad and Duke come running to us. "Teeko, are you okay?," dad asked when he came to us. He looked over at the orc, and then down at Teeko's foot. "We need to get you home." Dad helped Teeko up and got him at his back, and then we began at our walk home.

I walked beside dad, and I was just up at his knee at the height. "Dad the orc,-" I began, but one more time I got stopped. "We will talk about that later when we comes home," dad said. I just looked down at the ground. I knew I was never going to get heard anyway, so why try?

You may be wondering how it went with Teeko? Dad got the knife out, and Teeko got well. He had some problems with running and walking a while, but he walked it off.
We never talked about what the orc said. Every time I mentioned it, the rest of my family said we were going to talk about it. It was like they were hiding something, and I know they were.
