Please, hang in there Wally...

    Robin burst into Wally's room, not caring that he totally destroyed the door. That could be replaced later.

    Kid Flash was lying on the ground, bawling. He had a shard of glass poised above his heart and lifted his arms.

     "WALLY!" Robin threw himself to the ground, right next to his best friend. He put a hand on Wally's arm and looked into his puffy red eyes. Taking in a shaky breath, the boy wonder whispered, "Put it down." He gripped Wally's wrist even harder as the older teen's grasp on the shard tightened, cutting into his hand.

         "No...it's all my fault..." Robin would've missed what Wally said had he not been trained by batman. He sighed shakily and attempted to pull the glass out of his friend's hand.

         "None of this is your fault Wally..." The two boys began an intense struggle of tug-of-war to claim the make-shift knife. Robin was on the verge of tears. The last time this had happened, Wally was in the MedBay for a week because of the injuries he sustained while attempted guilt-motivated suicide. Robin didn't want to lose his friend. His best-no, his brother.

       "KF, let go...we can talk about this, just let it go..."

        Wally squinted through the tears clouding his vision, "I deserve to die, Rob..."

          "No you don't! Nobody does..." As he said this, Wally's iron grip on the shard loosened and Robin took the advantage to subtly pull the glass away from Wally. He was caught mid way when the older teens guilt tears turned to rage filled ones, "LET IT GO, ROB!"

            "NO!"

            "LET. GO!" In his rage, Wally accidentally let go of the shard. The loss of balance cause robins arm to snap back and the glass plunged into the boy wonder's abdomen. Robin let out a breathy uumf and slowly pulled the glass shank out of his stomach, sending it clattering to the ground.

             Artemis, who had been silently watching in shock in the door way darted in, "Ohmygod, Robin?!" She put her hand on his shoulder, ready to whisk him off to the infirmary.

             "M'fine." He breathed, brushing her away. Slightly unsure, the archer backed off, but stood right behind Robin.

            Meanwhile, Wally stared in shock, "I...a....I...r..I'msosorry!Icantbelievethatjusthappened! Pleaseforgiveme!!"

            Robin smirked, "S'ok. I've gotten worse. Heck, I've died before. This won't kill me." Hesitating, Robin finally reached up and placed his hand on his mask, slowly peeling it off. Wally gasped, "Artemis!" Robin, now Richard, smiled, "It's ok. I don't care anymore. I want you to look at me in the eyes."

               The speedster slowly sat up, wiping his tears away. He shamefully brought his electric green eyes to meet Dick's dazzling blue ones.

             "Good. Now listen to me. None of this is your fault. Your parents passing was not your fault. This-" he gestured to his bleeding abdomen "- isn't your fault. Don't you dare blame yourself. Now, here's what's going to happen: you're going to my room. With me. You're going to stay with me until yours is fixed and cleaned." Wally winced and for the first time, took a good around the room. His chocolate brown dresser was knocked on its back, the drawers broken and split; clothes laid everywhere. His bed sheets were cast on the floor, his pillow bested and empty of its feathers. All of his framed pictures were now shattered alone the floor, they fell when Wally punched the wall. Several times. Comics and glass were strewn around the clattered room.

         "You hear me? You're going to stay with me...you're not going home, ok?" Dick worriedly placed a bloody hand on Wally's shoulder. The speedster nodded, now snapped back to his senses, as he saw Richard beginning to sway from blood loss, "I'm so stupid!" He scooped his friend up, despite the younger boys protests, "I've got to take you to the MedBay!" With that, he sped off, leaving a stunned and puzzled Artemis. Well that happened... Artemis walked out of the room to inform the others of what had just occurred so they'd be aware if it was mentioned.

I know! This was a short, confusing, horrible chapter! But it's all I could do at the moment! Artemis and everyone else was kind of forgotten for a bit, but I'll include more of them later.
