Not just when they like it.

Kise poochun hai aisa kyun
Bezuban sa yeh jahan hai
Khushi ke pal kahan dhoondun
Benishan sa waqt bhi yahan hai.
Jaane kitne labon pe gile hai
Zindagi se kai faasle hain
Base jitte hain sapne kyun aankhon mein
Lakeerein jab chhoote in haathon se yun bewajah.
Jo bheji thi Duaa
Woh jaake aasman se yun takra gayi
Ke aa gayi hai laut ke sadaa
Jo bheji thi duaa
Woh jaake aasman se yun takra gayi
Ke aa gayi hai laut ke sadaa.
The song played on the radio of her car while she enjoyed it, while driving. She stopped her car as she saw an old man wincing in pain while a expensive car stopped a centimetres away from him.
She came out of the car and before she could approach him, the man himself came out while opening his shades urging her to roll her eyes. It looks too filmy to her the way men open their glasses after coming out of the car. She rushed towards him when she saw him bending on his knees infront of the old man.
"Baba, aap theek hain?" He asked in a gentle tone, taking her by surprise who stopped a step away from him.
(Uncle, are you fine?)
"Maaf karna beta. Thora jaldi mein tha main. Meri wajah se tumhe takleef hui." The old man said wincing in pain as he had fallen on his stomach due to panic brushing his knees lightly.
(I am sorry. I was in hurry. Because of me, I troubled you.)
"Nahi baba, koi baat nahi. Aaiye hum hospital chalte hain." He said again taking her by surprise. She thought he must have came out of car to insult the elder man, but here he was worried for him and proposing to take him to hospital. Before he could move with the elder, she interrupted.
(Its alright. I will take you to the hospital.)
"Excuse me. He is not much injured. I am a doctor. You can sit with him on the bench. I will come within a few seconds with first aid box. Its in my car." She said to him making him turn towards her. He first looked at her sceptically but then nodded as she showed him her id card.
She did the first aid of the old man and then left from there with a smile plastered on her face. Surely the man had impressed her.

"Aapi, do it fast. Samia Chachi is calling us." Hania yelled from downstairs. Everyone had already left except Hania and Mehreen for the Mayoon which was taking place in their immediate neighbour's house while the bride is best friend of Mehreen.
Mehreen came down fastly as she managed the dupatta on her shoulders.
"Its seriously heavy." Mehreen said, pointing at her clothes making Hania roll her eyes as she dragged her towards the backyard.
"Trust me, all the aunties are going to have their eyes on you only." Hania said, giggling making Mehreen roll her eyes. From the backdoor, she entered inside the Malik Mansion. The Khans and Maliks are best friend since she could remember and were exceptionally close to each other.
"You go to Daneen, I will come after meeting Samia Aunty." Mehreen said and made her way towards the Main hall where the mayoon would take place.
She was rushing towards the hall when a hard body collided with her making her jerk back but before she could fall, she hold the nearby table. She opened her eyes to scold the person only for her eyes to go wide.
"Aap!?" She surprisingly said while the man too stared at her in utter shock.
(You?)
The girl infront of him was the same who helped him in morning. But what surprised her was her changed demeanour. She was a angel in disguise in morning while right now, she was nothing less than a enchantress dressed in a Orange coloured Anarkali. She was in total contrast of her morning look.
"Aap Yahaan kaise?" The same decent man from morning asked her, folding his hands at his chest making her scowl. Firstly he had the audacity to bang into her, and then check her out and now asking her this question.
(How are you here?)
"And I don't feel I need to answer you." She said glaring at him and took a step back turning on her heels and goes away from there.
"Ajeeb hi ladki hain yaar yeh toh. Mere ghar mein mujhpe hi roub zama diya." He said, a smirk tugged on his lips as he stared at her going frame while her long silky hairs which were tied in a braid were swinging.
(Such a weird girl she is. She showed her boldness on me in my house only.)

True to Hania's words, all the ladies had their eyes on Mehreen as they saw her working efficiently with a alluring smile plastered on her face.
The orange Anarkali was looking beautiful on her lightly tanned skin. She truly looked a sight to behold.
She got to know that the man she collided with was none other than Daneen's elder brother, Asfandyar Malik. Unknowingly, his name was enough to send shivers down her spine as she remembered how she behaved like a scary cat infront of him since childhood. She ignored him like a plague after that whenever they came across.
Asfandyar was called by his mother to apply the haldi on his sister which he lovingly did, lastly pecking at her forehead making her giggle. She admired them with a smile as her eyes got filled with tears remembering her brother. She looked away, sneakily wiping her tears which didn't go unnoticed by two pair of eyes. Asfandyar and her step mother, Zuhaira.

aking the remaining turmeric paste, she was going inside the room when from nowhere, he again collided with her making all the paste fall on his beige coloured waist coat.
"Allah! Aapne mujhse takraane ki kasam khaayi hain kya?" She screamed at him as she looked at his now turmeric coloured waist coat.
(Have you taken an oath of colliding with me?)
He looked at her for a second, glaring and then at his waist coat which had turned Yellow now. He sighed, cutting off the call he was on.
"Aapko bhi main hi dikhta hu, takraane keliye." He said looking at her. She wanted to fight back, but she hold herself. She was not used of making mountain out of mole. She just silently went away while he frustratingly ran his hands through his hairs.
(You only have me to collide with.)
"Damn it." He said and was going towards his room when his eyes fell on a something shining, taking him by surprise as he bent of his knees, picking it up. He inspected it to see a really pretty and costly diamond crown shaped ring.
Keeping it in the pocket of his kurta, he left from their towards his room.

Changing his clothes, he goes to his balcony, immersed in deep thoughts where all he could see were those blank crystal blue eyes and that alluring smile. He closed his eyes, trying to avoid thinking about her as much as he can.
Taking his laptop, he sat on the sofa of balcony, doing his work but unknowingly his eyes fell of the room infront of him. He was well aware of it being her room. He hated his desperateness as he tried to put his emotions at bay when his eyes fell on the ring.
"Its look so familiar." He said to himself, inspecting it.
"Oh shit! Its of Wafa Aunty." He said realising its the ring of Mehreen's mother.
He was close to Wafa, her mother who had always treated her like her own son. He remembered asking this ring for his wife when he was 10 to her who laughed it off saying when he will grow up, she herself will gift it to his wife.
He smiled lightly remembering her ad he looked at the night sky, where the stars where blinking and their was no trace of moon.
