Will You Allow Us To Join Forces?
3RD PERSON POV
"W-what?! she's Nobunaga's sister?!" Mai shouted in a shocked tone as she looked at Nara up and down.
Nara and Nobunaga stared at each other while the atmosphere in the room got intense.
'Those two are getting intense, what's gonna happen?'
Mai asked herself as she looked between the two of them. Nara continued to smirk at Nobunaga and she finally spoke up.
"I've finally returned to Japan and what does my foolish brother do the moment I set foot in Azuchi, he sends me packing before I could even speak to him? you haven't changed one bit since the last time we spoke face to face."
"That's because I wanted nothing to do with you or your little schemes, Nara, if you think for one minute you're gonna worm your way into my territory, you've got another thing coming."
Nara burst out laughing and that surprised the other warlords.
"Is that supposed to be some kind of threat? because if it was, it's not a very good one, my foolish brother..."
Nara walked towards Nobunaga and then Hideyoshi stood up and he stood in front of Nobunaga and he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword.
"Don't take another step towards Nobunaga-sama, he said he wants nothing to do with you, now leave!"
"And if I don't, what will you do, little monkey?" Nara asked as she smirked and glared at Hideyoshi.
Hideyoshi saw the look in her eyes and then his hand started to twitch since he was hesitating to draw his sword. Nara held Hideyoshi's chin and she continued to smirk at him.
"If you know what's good for you, monkey, you outta stay out of the way because if you don't, you'll be hunted down by the almighty dragon herself."
Hideyoshi sweat dropped and then he said to her.
"U-Understood..."
Hideyoshi said before Nara released his chin. Hideyoshi sat back down and then Nara looked back at Nobunaga.
"If you wanted to keep me away from you and keep me out of your castle you should have gotten yourself a better guard dog, your so-called right-hand man is a spineless wimp."
Hideyoshi frowned shamefully and then Mai whispered to Hideyoshi.
"Hideyoshi, why didn't you chase her away?"
"Are you kidding me? there's no way I can say no to someone who's known as the Divine Princess of the Oda, besides, her intense glare reminds me way too much of Nobunaga-sama."
Nobunaga frowned annoyingly when he heard Hideyshoi say that and then Nara sat down on the floor in front of him along with Andrain.
NARA'S POV
"Why did you come back after all this time? I thought you were busy in Russia sealing an alliance with the generals," Nobunaga demanded as he glared at me.
"I have but, the general who was in charge of his army was killed, however, some of the Russian soldiers saw how great my leadership and ambitions were and so they decided to side with me," I said as I glanced Andrain and he nodded his head in agreement.
"It's the truth, Kapitan took out a single army with her men and we saw how strong she was, it's no wonder we decided to side with her," Andrain spoke with admiration in his eyes.
I lose that smirk on my face and I then said to Nobunaga.
"There's a reason why I'm back, it's because I heard you almost got killed at Honno-ji temple, the moment I thought you were killed, I had to get back here as soon as possible but, that's when a little birdie told me that you survived thanks to that woman who you call your lucky charm here," I said as I glanced at Mai who looked at me nervously.
"Wait how did you know about-" Nobunaga stopped mid-sentence before glaring at Mitsuhide. "MITSUHIDE!!"
"*Chuckles* well someone had to tell her what was going on, after all, it's been too long since we've seen the Divine Princess of the Oda clan," Mitushide smirked at me.
"And you did well to keep me informed, you cunning fox," I winked at Mitushide.
Nobunaga growled annoyingly and he glared at me.
"I should have known you were working in the background..."
"Hey no need to be like that, foolish brother, but seriously though..." I lose that smirk on my face and I began to tell him the truth.
"There's also another reason why I came back, from what Mitushide and my scouts have told me, there have been rumours about Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen coming back from the dead and I've also heard they've formed a temporary alliance to take you down, is that true as well?" I questioned my brother.
"It is, everything you've heard is true, but why is that a concern for you?"
"I never said it was a concern but, what I am concerned about is you, my foolish brother."
"Me? what have I done?"
"Uh, I don't know but what I can tell you, there's a list of things you've done and they've ended badly, like a couple of revolts happening in the neighbouring territories, the Uesugi-Takeda forces picking a fight with you, the list goes on, in other words, you've made more enemies than friends," I explained to him.
"Who cares?"
"I do! for one thing, I am your sister and secondly, I've brought back an army who's got western firearms that can help you take down Kenshin and Shingen's soldiers easily, so what do you say? how about we join forces?"
"No!" Nobunaga bluntly said.
My brow twitched in anger when he said this.
"Why the hell not?!" I shouted.
"Because I do not need your help and we've got plenty of soldiers as it is," Nobunaga said bluntly.
I sighed and I then stood up from the ground.
"It would seem you'll need some convincing, come with me," I said as I grabbed Nobunaga by the back of his collar.
"Hey! Nara! let go of me!!" Nobunaga yelled as I dragged him out of the war council room.
The other warlords followed after us and then we stood at the gates. I released Nobunaga and then he glared at me.
"Nara! what did you do that for?"
"What you're about to witness my dear brother, is the army that I've brought back with me and the allied Japanese-Russian forces."
Andrain sounded the horn and then our soldiers marched towards the gates. The warlords were speechless when they saw the number of soldiers that I have brought back with me. Mitsuhide stood next to me and he smirked at the sight.
"Oh, that's impressive even for you, Nara-sama."
"I appreciate the compliment, Mitushide."
I walked five steps towards my men before speaking in Russian.
"Vse yunity! Stoy! (All units! halt!)"
When they heard my command they came to a full stop. I smirked at this and I turned back to the warlords including my brother, who stared at me with a shocked expression.
"Listen well! warlords of Japan! compared to some of your soldiers and the rest of your armies, they're nothing but small fry to us and with that in mind, you can only stop a few revolts here and there but, with me and my army at your disposal, we will be unstoppable!"
Nobunaga stopped looking at me with that shocked expression and I continued to smirk at him.
"I'll ask you this one last time, my foolish brother, will you allow us to join forces?"
"And what if I refuse?" Nobunaga asked me.
"Then, you might end up having a war on your hands," I said before clicking my fingers.
The firearm soldiers knelt down while pointing their rifles at the warlords while the rest stood behind them with rifles pointed at the warlords too. The rest of the soldiers either pointed their spears or placed their hands on the hilts of their swords while glaring at the warlords.
"I should warn you though, my boys never hesitate to kill anything that stands in their paths, it's how they were trained, including myself," I said as I pulled out one of my pistols and I pointed it directly at Nobunaga.
The warlords looked at us nervously but Nobunaga kept his game face on. Nobunaga chuckled at me and he then said to me.
"You still drive a hard bargain like always, Nara..." Nobunaga walked towards me after saying this.
"There's no need for you to threaten me, lower your weapons, you've convinced me."
I smirked at Nobunaga and I put away my pistol and then my men lowered their weapons.
"I thought you'd see it my way, my foolish brother."
"Hmpf, if anyone who hasn't changed it's you, my deviant sister."
Nobunaga and I shook hands as our way of saying we will join forces.
