"suitcase? suitcase! can you hear me!?"

she slowly opened her eyes, the world around her fading back into focus. she was lying on the dock, soaked from head to toe. she coughed and sputtered, still struggling to catch her breath.

"w-what... happened...?" She muttered

"OMGA your finally awake! you were in the water, baseball found you and knife went in water and saved you" Lightbulb said in her normal voice. Baseball and knife were looking at Suitcase concerned. suitcase sat up, shivering from the cold and still dazed from the incident.

"i... i was in the water? i-i don't remember."

she tries to collect her thoughts, rubbing her temples as her mind is still fuzzy.

"i think... i think i was hallucinating. it was like i was seeing things that weren't really there..."

there was a bit silence

Baseball then spoke up; "what did you saw...?" at which Knife shot a glare. suitcase hesitated, looking away. she wasn't sure if she wanted to disclose the details of her hallucination.

"it's... it's hard to explain. i was hearing voices, seeing things that weren't there. it felt so real, but i know it wasn't."

she clenched her fists, still shaken by the vividness of her hallucination.

"i think its best that you calm down" Knife said before putting his hand on her shoulder to comfort.

suitcase takes a shaky breath, the reassuring gesture from her friend helping to ground her.

"y-yeah... you're right. i just... i need a moment to collect my thoughts."

she sits up straight, rubbing her hands over her face as if trying to physically shake off the residual effects of the hallucination.

Mephone4 walks up to the group, bit annoyed, exclaiming, "there you guys are! i was looking for you-"

Mephone4 looked at suitcase and takes a pause

"looks like someone decided to become a fish"

Lightbulb giggled a bit at the remark but regretted and and muttered "sorry... very sorry...". suitcase winces at Mephone's comment, her exhaustion and vulnerability making it harder to hold back her emotions.

"i... i didn't decide to end up in the water, okay? it was an accident."

she tries to sound frustrated, but the tremor in her voice betrays her exhaustion. the memory of her hallucination still lingers in the back of her mind, making her more on edge than usual.

"suitcase almost drowned right now, and your making sarcastic remarks about it, Mephone?"

Baseball defended Suitcase for her. Mephone4 ignored Baseball's comment and cleared his throat

"well i came here to tell that the next competition is gonna happen tomorrow morning, so be ready"

Mephone4 also muttered "and dont sit next to the dock if you cant balance" before leaving the place, heading to the Gemcave.

suitcase stared at Mephone4 as he walked away, a mixture of anger and helplessness on her face. she knew she should be focused on the competition, but her mind was still reeling from the recent events.

baseball let out a frustrated huff, shaking his head.

"ugh, that mephone can be so insensitive sometimes. are you alright, suitcase?"

Suitcase went a bit silent before saying "I'm fine... lets-... lets just get ready for the challenge"
