5- Morning

The next day I woke up to three messages, all from Layla.

DaBesty- Hey, you alright?

DaBesty- You're probably still asleep

DaBesty- Call me when you wake up

I sigh, and stand up. Walking over to my dresser, I dial her number. In the mirror, I see myself. Just another black- haired girl from the middle of nowhere.

She answers the phone.

"Hello?"

"You wanted to speak to me?"

"Oh, yeah! Are you alright? Did Justice say something completely rude?"

"No, no. She's really nice. I just needed to take a break. It's fine."

She sighs, "Well, call me if you need something. Alright?"

"Can do. See you soon," I say, and hang up.

I still look like crap, but at least she couldn't see me. That may just make me feel worse than I already do.

Quickly, I choose a blue tee and shorts to wear, and put my hair into a ponytail. Standing in front of my desk, I look at his picture while putting on the charm bracelet he had given me the day before it happened. Layla thinks it only depresses me more, or holds me down, but I can't seem to put it down for a day.

Perhaps I should just let go, but I can't. I've tried. It only causes more frequent breakdowns.

I look down at the bracelet, before turning my head to my bedroom door. A full body mirror was in it, since my mom refuses to take it down. If I had a choice

I would throw every mirror I owned away. Of course, if I did that, Layla may out up a band poster or something. So I bare the mirrors.

My hearts stops for a minute when the knob turns.
