"Mom we have to talk about it," Sebastian says and his mom smiles and looks at him,

"What do you mean honey?" Maryann asks.

"Your arm, what does this mean? I mean this has to mean something!" Sebastian says pointing at her arm and Maryann shakes her head and sighs,

"Just go to your room Sebastian I'll have food ready soon," She says and walks away.

Sebastian groans and walks up to his room, Ignis walks behind him and places his hand on his shoulder,

"Listen, Kid, this is awful, but we have work to do. We're supposed to kill twenty people remember?" Ignis says and Sebastian shoots him a glare. Ignis sighs and steps back, watching Sebastian settle in his bed and stare at the ceiling. Ignis shifts uncomfortably and sighs tapping his foot on the ground and waiting for Sebastian to say something, finally, Sebastian speaks up,

"Why don't you go out and kill? I mean why do I have to come with?" Sebastian says glaring at Ignis.

"It's complicated Kid, I can't tell you" Ignis declares.

"Can't or won't?" Sebastian says.

Ignis sighs and starts to take his gas mask off, Sebastian sits up and looks over at his face, it's burned... horribly burned. The only recognizable feature is two glowing orange eyes, flickering in the dark room. Sebastian stands up and walks over looking at his face,

"What happened?" Sebastian asks.

"It's a long story Kid, I'll tell you if you agree to come with me to this next kill" Ignis replies.

"Who is it?" Sebastian asks nervously.

"Horrible girl, just dreadful. Victoria Warner. She goes to parties to find a poor drunken soul and takes advantage of him late that night" Ignis says.

Sebastian stares at Ignis slowly absorbing his words and nodding along,

"Okay, fine. I'm in" Sebastian says. Ignis nods, smiling, and puts his gas mask back on.

"Alright Kid, this will take your mind off whoever did that to your mother. Don't worry we'll figure that out in due time but for now, trust me," Ignis says and Sebastian hesitates but nods going along with whatever he says.

"Sebastian! Dinner is ready!" Maryann yells from downstairs

Sebastian groans, heads downstairs, and sits down at the dinner table, the tension at the table is palpable, Maryann doesn't say anything, just simply eats and reads the newspaper, Ignis tries to settle into the chair shifting slightly and tapping his foot on the floor. Sebastian looks over to his mom and then to Ignis.

"I'm going to my room" Sebastian announces and heads up to his room, Maryann sighs and looks over as he leaves. She sets down the newspaper and looks over her arm carefully rubbing her scars.

"Truth..." Maryann mumbles and looks over at the clock. "No, he can't know. She can't be back"

Maryann stands up and throws the newspaper away heading to her room.

As Sebastian gets to his room, Ignis follows behind and opens his window, looking over at him.

"Ready Kid?" Ignis asks and Sebastian sighs

"No, but what choice do I have?" Sebastian says, hops out the window, and waits for Ignis to follow behind.

Further down the street Millie sits at a bench looking over and narrows her eyes,

Sneaking out late at night Sebastian? Not too strange for a young adult, but at the same time...

Millie stands up and readjusts her gun she looks behind her and then slowly follows Sebastian. She raises her eyebrow as she sees Sebastian go into an alleyway ducking into the shadows. She pops in a sucker while she waits, she knows that alleyway doesn't lead anywhere.

After waiting a few more minutes she sees movement and puts her hand on her gun ready for anything. Suddenly Ignis emerges from the alleyway, Millie almost chokes on her sucker and unclips her gun from the holster,

"Gotcha you bastard," Millie says and steps forwards only to then feel a hand grab her shoulder.
