It was the next day and I changed into a pink cropped tank top with dark blue skinny jeans and black heels. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs. I ate breakfast, left for school and tried calling Jake. He wouldn't pick up. Rude. But whatever. I arrived at school and went straight to my locker. No Jake. Weird, he's usually always at my locker first thing in the morning. 

Sally walked up to me, looking semi annoyed. But when doesn't she. I was so sad to see her in one of her outfits, when I created several for her. She's wearing black checkered pants with a black t-shirt with yellow flowers, tan shoes and her black backpack. 

"Here." She said handing me a piece of paper."

"What's this?"

"My brother's throwing me a birthday party and told me to hand out the invitations."

I looked at her confused, "why are you giving me one?"

"Because I don't absolutely hate you and I have very few friends." 

I smiled a little. That was really cool of her for inviting me. And friends? Did she just call me her friend? I'm not offended by it, actually kind of appreciated of it. This might sound weird, but I really trust her. What I'm about to say, you'll understand why I trust her. 

"You should invite your brother."

"Okay first he's already invited cause he's my brother and second woah."

"I caught a vibe back at the house."

"Woah."

"He's trying to know what I'm about."

"Yo."

"I'm gonna make you my sister now."

"Ohhhhh."

I was nervous about saying all of that. To see her reaction. 

"Aren't you dating the most popular guy in school?"

"You and I have our first secret as friends." I smiled. 

She tried to hid her smile. I don't want to sound like a princess, but everyone wants to be my friend. Even if they don't admit it. Jake finally showed up at my locker as I was just about to leave. 

"Car troubles." He said.

"I'm going to English."

He grabbed my invatation out of my hand and looked at it, "I'm coming."

"That's up to Sally."

"Uh, uh." Sally was put in an awkward position. 

"It's at Jay's house? Yeah I'm coming." 

She shrugged, "I guess."
