This story takes place in a world where it's possible to find your soulmate.

Depending on your personality, your soulmate system will be different:

A calm, caring, or energetic person would have a red string tied to their pinky, and it would grow smaller and smaller the closer you got to your soulmate.

A person who has no flitter, or is typically rude would have the imprint system, where the first words your soulmate says to you that describes you are imprinted on your arm.

A person who has a salty or bad attitude has the tattoo soulmate system, where you are born with a tattoo that matches your soulmate's.

A serious person or someone who doesn't show emotions a lot would have a gem on your right hand, and it would grow brighter and brighter the closer you get to them.

But then there are the rare cases of someone having a soulmate the polar opposite of them. Those receive the marking system, where anything marked, drawn, or written on your soulmate's body appears on yours, and vise versa. This is an uncommon system since most soulmates are similar to each other, even if they act differently at times.

Many travel the world to find their soulmate, while others wait patiently for their soulmate to arrive. You could be a child when you meet your soulmate or a grown adult. But at some point in your life, you will meet your soulmate.
