AN: We've made it to the fifth chapter already. I'm trying to update when I can, as well as, move this story along. Please be patient because it takes time to keep writing plus Iam a full-time single mom to a beautiful 2yr old daughter who demands my attention. :) So we're getting ready for Rachel to open up to Sebastian about what she's feeling. More smytheberry moments. So enjoy . :)

Rachel POV

Rachel and Sebastian finally fell asleep after she was awoken by a bad dream. Iam really glad that Sebastian is here with me. I wish I could understand what is going on with me. I don't like feeling weak. And I don't get it because its not like iam the only one in that school that day. And now iam engaged. Am I making the right choices. I've got New York and my Broadway dreams that I've planned since forever.

I suddenly wake up again and look over to see Sebastian lying beside me. He looks so peaceful. I gently run my hands over his handsome features and fee so lucky. A few months ago I thought Finn Hudson was my soul mate. But perhaps that has changed or what I envisioned for myself because of my desire to be a star and popular.

Finn Hudson and I have had a rocky relationship. He accepted me and seems to live me but he could never make up his mind what or who he wants. Or if life isn't going his way, he blames others especially me. He says he will go to New York with me but he doesn't have a clue where he wants to be. I don't want to go to California. I don't want to stay in Lima. He always flip flops between Quinn and myself or whoever catches his eye. He tends to worry about his reputation. So he flip flops between football or glee. Then there was the time he lost our chances by kissing me in front of thousands. Don't get me wrong I still love Finn, but I think it was more of an IDE what I thought was supposed to be like. He's with Quinn once again, and I just can't go back to him. I'd like to think Iam becoming stronger and more confident.

That is not due to Finn, but to the unexpected person laying beside me. When I first met Sebastian it definitely wasn't love at first sight. We met at Lima Bean where he kept flirting with Blaine. I thought he was arrogant and full of himself. Also I thought he was so gorgeous until he mentioned he was gay. I couldn't have another Blaine 2.0. I was attracted I admit but I had loyalty to Finn still. And he's with my competition. But, after that we kept running into each other and I noticed my attraction to him was growing. After the "Michael" incident and Blaine was slushied I was disappointed and upset with him. He hurt my Blaine who never hurt anyone. I was angry but in some way I related because I'm no perfect. Did you know I sent a girl to a crack house because I was jealous and threatened by her talent. No one would let me forget, just as I'm sure Sebastian is constantly reminded of things he's done in the past.

I get up slowly trying not to wake Sebastian. I walk down to the kitchen to make some tea. Maybe that will make me feel better. Once tea is made, I went to sit on the couch and wrap a blanket over my legs. The house is so quiet.

You probably wondering when Sebastian and I became an item or started dating. Well...

*Flashback *

Location: Party at Dalton with Warblers

I remember Blaine calling me to invite me to a party at Dalton Academy. Kurt wanted me there especially because he was worried about Sebastian stealing Blaine from him even though he really had no reason to not trust him because Blaine was head over heels for Kurt. I mean sure it hurt that I was rejected by Blaine when after I kissed him he proclaimed he was 100% gay.The bright side is I got another brother/bestie out of it.

Rachel: Hello?

Blaine: My Maria how are you darling?

Rachel: *giggle* Well my Tony Iam peachy despite another breakup with Finn..

Blaine: Oh no Rach do you need me to bring ice cream, tissues and Moulin Rouge to your house for cry fest??

Rachel: No Blaine, I think I'm all cried out..hey that's an ok Lisa Lisa song lol..no I'm ok. I just want to stay home and drink cocoa.

Blaine: No cry fest. I think I have a better idea.I need you to get dressed and be ready in an hour. We are going to a party.

Rachel: What? Blaine no party. Plus I don't have any clothes to wear and every time I party I get drunk.

Blaine: Oh Kurt is here and he said did you really think you have a choice. You're going. Just no fuzzy animal sweaters or grandmother clothes. We're going to party at Dalton to see some of our Warbler brothers. I know Nick,Wes,Jeff and many others keep asking when you're coming to visit again. They're in love with you, Miss Berry.

Rachel: *groan* okay FINE. Actually I was bored so being with you guys should be fun. By the way Blaine..do you know if Sebastianisgonnabethere? *she mumbled quuckly*

Blaine: Is who? I heard Sebastian's name. Kurt:What?! WTH Rachel not every gay can be converted by a kiss from you. Plus he's enemy. Now diva get ready and don't think about that obnoxious meerkat wanna be Disney Prince?!

Blaine: Anyways Rach be ready and we will pick you up okay sweetie?

Rachel: Okay Blaine see u soon bye.

Kurt & Blaine: We love you!

Well after showering and getting ready for the party I sat down waiting for Klaine to show up. I had on a white skater skirt, a mint green crop top and white heels. My hair down but curled, natural makeup. I think I looked good. About 20 minutes later, the sound of car horn was heard outside so I grabbed what I needed and joined the boys I the car to party with some preppy boys. And one in particular was on my mind...Sebastian...

In the car..

Blaine & Kurt: Rachel!!

Rachel: Hi guys! Lets get the show in the road shall we?

Kurt: * looks over her outfit* um Rachel what are you wearing?

Rachel: *confused * Why what do you mean? I think I look presentable?

Kurt: Well its not you and makes you look like a hooker!

Blaine: Kurt?! No she doesn't at all. She's not in her usual animal sweater or dressing like my Grandmother. *turns to Rachel* sweetie don't listen to him. I think you look HOT! And I know the guys will think so too.

Rachel: *looking down,a little hurt * Thanks Blaine. And Kurt I don't know why you said what you did and always criticizing me. *Rachel was quiet for rest of ride.*

Blaine looked at Rachel with a smile but sad eyes. Kurt was u phased by what just happened.

Soon they arrived at Dalton where music was blaring and Warblers and some Dalton guys were hanging in the Warbler too. Girls from Crawford were there as well. Rachel suddenly felt uncomfortable because of what Kurt had said about her.

Someone came up behind them and yelled : "Blaine! Kurt! What's up dudes?!" It was a tall warbler with blond hair and hazel eyes.

Blaine: JEFF!! How's it going?! And this is Rach-

Jeff: The lovely Rachel Berry. Oh she's quite known here amongst the Warblers. Hi Miss Berry *kissing her hand* I'm Jeff Sterling the most talented. Haha

Rachel: *blushing* Its a pleasure Jeff. It makes me happy that I'm recognized here at Dalton for my talent.

Kurt: * embarrassed * Rachel please don't act like yourself tonight. Or what i mean is brag about your talent. Just mingle & have fun.*grabbing Blaine's hand leaving to search for their friends.*

Blaine gave her a hug and kiss on cheek, whispering in my ear, "don't listen to him. You're awesome. * pulling away "Jeff can show you around, if you need me or Kurt just come find us. Love u Rachie".

Jeff: Hey don't worry about Miss Rachel she's gonna

Jeff led me through the crowd introducing me to the other Warblers like David, Wes,Nick,Thad,Trent, wow there's way too many to remember but all were sweet and made me feel like I was wanted. Hadn't felt that before. A few of the guys asked me to dance. Played truth or dare, spin the bottle, and more dancing. I was tired so went to sit down on the couch. I was Los in thought thinking of what Kurt said. 'Did I really look like a hooker? What does Kurt, Santana, Quinn and even Finn feel the need to cut me down am I not good enough"*

End of Flashback,back to present

Rachel is still in living room on the couch with tears forming her eyes. Even now though we're good friends Kurt and others still feel the need to criticize me. Sure I admit I can be bossy at times. Something I nerd to work on, but shouldn't they work on how they treat others as well? Hmm then I remember my songbird upstairs who is sleeping and remembering when we started to connect..

Rachel POV

Flashback

Iam at the party sitting down, when I noticed someone approaching me.

Sebastian: Well if it isn't the future Barbra Streisand..

Rachel: Smythe

Sebastian: So what are you doing sitting alone? I would have figured you'd want to be center stage?

Rachel: And I thought you'd be trying to snag you're next conquest.

Sebastian: Well my conquest is with someone else and the others kind of bore me. Plus what kind of gentleman would I be if I left a woman lil you sit alone.

Rachel: Gentleman? You?

Sebastian:wow now I can tell you hang out with Hummel. Speaking of where is betty white and killer at??

Rachel: Not that its your business, but probably trying to stay away from me.

Sebastian: why?

Rachel: Because id embarrass them by the way I dress or by being myself.* looking down *

Sebastian:Huh? What's wrong with the way you're dressed? I have to admit you Miss Berry look sexy as hell . And so you can be loud and bossy but who isn't plus you have talent to back it up. Now who said this? *Sebastian sees her tearing up*

Rachel: *shocked at what Sebastian just said. Wiping her tears* well most of my Glee club, by tonight it was Kurt saying I looked like a hooker.

Sebastian: *irritated* like he can talk someone who thinks he's fashionable when moat of his clothes could be so not un sexy. Now Rachel I may be a resident Ass here at Dalton. And I'm bossy too but Iam not afraid to go after what I want. You're like that too. Your joke of a glee club are threatened by you.

Rachel: Thank you Sebastian. Iam sorry I shouldn't have told you my problems

Sebastian: Hey its okay not like I need to be anywhere. Plus its a party so come dance with me.

Rachel: I don't know..*blushing because I've harbored a small crush on the handsome bad boy of the Warblers* I don't know Seb-

Sebastian didn't give her a chance to finish because he grabbed my hand and ked me to a small stage where they were doing Karaoke.

Sebastian POV

Iam at another boring Warblers party. After most of the activities through the night, I was bored. Some girls and guys were trying to hookup or pass me their numbers. I guess you would think I'm just looking to get laid which wouldn't be a total lie. But there was something different tonite. I was looking for HER. I spotted her dancing with some warblers. She looked gorgeous. Beautiful brown hair and doe eyes to match. That smile.She is usually bossy but tonight I noticed a quiet but vulnerable Rachel Berry. I watched her from afar, but whenever she glanced my way I'd offer a wink and smile. Not my usual meerkat smirk. Then I spotted her sitting alone. So decide to approach her. I'm surprised when she begins to talk about how her team treats her and what Kurt gayface Hummel said about her. I suddenly felt anger by saddened. A pretty girl like her shouldn't cry.

Wow when did I Sebastian Smythe care about others feelings?! Huh..well I think it started since I first met Berry at Lima Bean. haven't been able to stop thinking of her. I guess you can say I've harbored a crush for nD star and want to get to know her better.

I grabbed Rachel's hand and led her to dance floor near a stage.

Sebastian: So Miss Berry please dance with me?;)

Rachel: * hesitates but smiles * of course Mr Smythe.

I pull her close and we danced most of the night. I decided I wanted to be spontaneous and get her to smile. So I walked up to Thad whispering what song to play. Thad nodded.

OMG Sebastian is gonna kiss me. He leans in and I lean in, as well, until Blaine texted me saying that he & Kurt are ready to go. Damn Blaine, I don't know whether to be happy or not.

Rachel: Well Sebastian I had so much fun tonight. Thank you for cheering me up. ;)

Sebastian: Its not a problem.We don't get many beautiful girls visiting us. But I'm sure if Dalton ever allowed girls we soul be recruiting you to the Warblers lol. Maybe replace Hunter for Rachel Berry. Hahaha or Thad.

Rachel: haha you're not such of a bad guy Smythe

Sebastian: Yea yea just not too loud. I have a rep to uphold lol

Rachel: Well I've got to get going Blaine and Kurt are waiting.

Sebastian: Geez that sounds fun *sarcastic *

Rachel: Its ok. But it was fun..* kisses his cheek*

Well see you around, Smythe. *turning to walk away. *

Sebastia Rach, um can I get your number. Maybe meet for coffee or something?

Rachel: Um sure..give me your phone. * exchanged phones and type one anothers numbers and taking a selfie for contact photo*

Sebastian: Well ill call or text soon. Call me so I know you got home safe.

Rachel: I will do that. Well good night, Seb * she turns to leave* Sebastian pulled her back and crashed his lips to hers. She gasped but kissed back. The kiss became heated and deeper. Finally after minutes passed both pulled away to breathe.

Sebastian: Well..wow..that was hot * looking at her head to toe*

Rachel: Yes it was *breathless * well I can hear Kurt yelling. "Rachel Berry hurry up!"

Goodnight Seb. Bye.

Sebastian gave her a genuine smile.

Thad walked up to Sebastian noticed him stare at Berry walking away and simply says, "Seb dude you got it bad."

Sebastian smiled and replied,"Thad you have no idea."

He sends a text to Rachel that said

He walked back to his dorm, laid on his bed dreaming of his songbird Rachel Barbra Berry.

Rachel POV

I finally left with Kurt and Blaine. I was still upset with Kurt but wasn't going to let him ruin my night. He kept hounding me about what happened at the party. I pretended to fall asleep in back seat until Blaine dropped me off at my house. After goodbyes and hugs, I walk into my house. I got a text from Sebastian. I smiled. I replied back

As I got ready for bed. I got another text.

Rach-

I miss you already. Skype with me?

Rachel: Give me five minutes.

She logged onto Skype and he responded. And they chatted all night and got to know each other from then on. At first it was to be in secret.But the more they got to know each other, the closer they got. Soon he asked to date exclusively. We shared dates, kisses, argued, but felt right. Iam so thankful that I agreed to go to that party.

*end of flashback*

Rachel Pov

Yes Iam so grateful to have found Sebastian, as I walked back to my room.he was still asleep. I definitely need to talk to him in the morning. For now I just laid back down and cuddled in his arms. I look at Sebastian kissing him and I say "I love you my Warbler"..a few seconds later he pulled me closer.." I love you my beautiful songbird. " soon sleep took over.
