Jason's pov
"What should we watch?" I said, while petting my dog, cupcake, on the couch. "Bark", "yeah let's watch the emperors new groove" I said while clicking on my remote starting the movie. "This movie never gets old" I lazily said while settling back onto the couch. "Beware of the groove" I said, while laughing at my favorite part of the movie.

1 hour later
"That's always a good movie" I yawned while getting off the couch and stretching. My stomach grumbled loudly as I walked towards my medium sized kitchen. "What should I have today?" I said opening the fridge door to examine why I have. 'This'll do' I thought, grabbing salad mix. "Hey cupcake, are you hungry?" I yelled, whilst listening for a bark. "Bark" cupcake barked, signaling that she was hungry. "Okay girl, come here" I said, grabbing her bag of dog food and pouring some into her bowl. Cupcake came bounding over here and immediately began to chow down I grabbed her water bowl and filled it up about halfway with water and placed it back on the floor. "I always love a good salad" I sighed, enjoying the delicious vegetables on my plate. As I was finishing up eating my salad I heard a knock on the door. 'Who could that be' I wondered getting up from my chair and walked towards my door. I opened it and saw a short plump man in a suit standing there. "Good evening sir, I'm here to relay a message from-" "who are you?" I grumbled angrily. "I'm sorry, my name is Leslie Scoreo" The short man said, in a odd British accent. "Your name sounds like a girl!" I laughed, earning a glare from Leslie. "As I was saying before" he grumbled "I'm here to relay a message from Mr. Universe"
"Who's that?" I Curiously asked, wondering who this 'Mr. Universe' is. "I'm not allowed to say anything about Mr. Universe other than his name" Leslie said looking up at me. "Well can you at least tell me his first name" I said staring down at him.

So how was the first chapter? Sorry if it was short. I'm still trying to figure out how I want this story to be, so here's a little taste. Please comment got opinion, I would love some feedback on what I should do better!!!
