Stef wakes up sweating. She looks at her clock, it's 5:00 in the morning.

Hmm just a dream. Stef says reassuring herself, she gets up and gets ready for school and cooks breakfast for both she and her mom. She eats her share and writes her mom a note that she already went to school.

"I hope today will be a good day. I have a bad feeling." Stef said out loud. She closes and locks the door behind her. And walks for awhile. Something is thrown at her, she barely dodges it. "Who's there!?" Stef demands

"Oh the girl figures out were, here." A stranger says laughing at her.

Assassins how did they find me! Stef thought alarmed. She made a light bright enough for her to get away from the assassins. Need to get away now! Stef says running away from the assassins.

She runs away but something pushes her to a wall. "That trick doesn't work on us anymore." The second stranger says to her.

"Let Me Go!" Stef yells out loud. The grabber slams her harder to the wall.

"Now that wasn't a smart move now was it?" The stranger says with a smirk as Stef struggles to get out of the grasp.

"Now hasn't anyone told you it isn't nice to pick on girls" a familiar voice says.

"Get out of heck out of here they won't hesitate to kill you!" Stef warns. She gets pushed harder towards the wall. "Ahh" she winces.

"Be quiet you or you die in seconds." The first stranger says.

"Hey leave my friend alone!" The familiar voice shouts angrily.

"Help Ya.." Stef starts but black out from all the pain.

"Hmm about time I thought we were going have to drug that thing." The second stranger says letting Stef fall to the ground.

"She's a human being how can you do that?" Yami says.

"We'll look the kings angry." A man says taughtingly. "Well for your information she is neither human or a monster she's in between the 2. He says with a smirk on his face.

"What!?" Yami and Yugi say in unison. "But she never told us this!" Yugi states. "Maybe she doesn't know?" Yami thought.

"Yeah maybe your right." Yugi says.

"Why don't we duel?" The stranger says

"I accept your challenge stranger." Yami says.

"Yami it could be a trap. Why did you accept?" Yugi says confusingly.

"Because they have Stef's soul." He responded out loud

"Well took you long enough to find out." The second stranger says laughing.

"Give Stef her soul back!" Yami says

"Nope got to duel me first but here's her body." The first stranger says tossing Stef by the arm into Yami's arms.

He puts her down. "don't worry we'll get your soul back soon." Yugi says. They see a tear drop from her eyes.

"Come on are you going to stand there or are we going to duel?" The stranger says

"Let's go assassin, I'll make you regret taking her soul." Yami says angrily

"Yeah yeah let's go." The first stranger says.

(I am not going into details about the match because I have no idea how to do it sorry.)

Yami wins the match the assassins give Stef's soul back as they promised. Yami carries Stef to the game shop and brings her to Yugi's room and lays her down.

"I'm sorry." Stef says as she wakes up.

"Hey that's ok. but why didn't you use your powers to get away?" Yugi says. (Yami and Yugi have switched back.)

"I tried but I couldn't for some reason." Stef says frustrated tears already running down both her eyes. "I don't know how they found me. I moved because of them." She says already shaken.

Yugi and Yami sensed that this subject would break their new friend heart if she kept talking about it. So they tried to change the subject. "Hey do you know how to cook?" Yugi asks

Stef nods, wipes her tears, and smiles. "Yes I know how to cook. I have to mom is almost always at work and always comes home tired and I have to make the food." Stef says laughing. "Hey to repay you two why don't I make you something for 3 whole weeks." She says with a wink already making up her mind.

"Free lunch we're in. If this is the reward we get then we should rescue you more often." Yami says chuckling. Soon everyone in the room was laughing silently. "Hey don't you two have school?" Yami reminds them after they were done laughing.

Both of them look at the clock of Yugi's room. "Ehh were going to be late!" Stef and Yugi shout in unison and run out the door and the game shop. "Yami why didn't you warn us earlier now were only going to make it by 5 minutes." Stef says while she was running towards the gate both she and Yugi are out of breath.

"I thought you guys knew." Yami said innocently with a smirk on his face.

"I'll... Get..you... For...this Yami." Stef says panting

"I'll look forward to that Stef." Yami says teasingly

Both of them walk to there class room where Tristan & Joey meets them.

"So are you guys a couple?" Joey asks teasingly. Stef responds by hitting him on the head with her bag and sits down. "Geesh what's her problem? I was just joking."

"You had it comin Joey." Tristan says plainly.

"Let's go sit down class is about to begin, and I don't feel like getting detention." Yugi says. The 3 boys agree, and sit down.
