Freedom and Beyond

This time it was silence. I opened my eyes to find myself in a void of pitch-black darkness; but then I saw a vibrant wave of neon lights that reminded me of something – the northern lights. I was moving so fast like I was traveling into space, and suddenly the lights were all around me and in the center of it all was a light!

"KATHUUUUUUMM!!!"

"Aaaaaaahhh!!!" I screamed panicking when I found myself free-falling at the sky, just in the clouds. My face felt the humid wetness of the clouds with the air going against me.

Thousands and thousands of feet I was falling down. I was moving frantically as I was scared to death. What the hell was I thinking!? This was a bad idea! How come I can't control it? The feeling of falling to an inevitable death was too much for me to accept it. When I pass through heavy masses of clouds I broke through and my eyes were welcomed by a scene of a vast city landscape. Gravity did its work in dragging me down even faster. My eyes begin to water and form from my eyes due to the tiny particles of air. I forced my eyes to blink again.

"SPLAAASHH!!"

My eyelids burst open to reveal water devouring me completely. Swarms of fish of different types darted away from me; startled by my presence. The force that was supposed to occur every time I teleported in great distances did not happen this time. I was drowning in water while it was forcing its way into my mouth, choking me. I thrashed around trying to swim upwards but I was in dismay to find out that I was inside a large aquarium filled with many different forms of marine-life: both large and small. Baffled faces of spectators who were watching stood behind the wall of glass were baffled and surprised by my unexplainable appearance inside a fucking aquarium!

A small child smiled in amazement, tugging the shirt of her dumbfounded mother whose jaws were dropped open. I quickly closed my eyes again, accepting wherever I might land in. Again, I jolted up and this time... I reappeared not in any bizarre places that would get me killed but was left soaking wet on a park bench. No one was around – which is very good – giving me the time release the amount of water trapped in my mouth. The whole place was definitely a park; albeit it was an area where a few people passed by.

Slowly I stood up, then looked all around, seeing the pretty scene of the park. It was peaceful, this area of the park had a lot of trees (though a lot shorter than the woodland trees) with a small field of sunflowers beyond the bench, pass the red path of brick floor. I paused for a moment looking at the pond in front of me; rays of light gave off a sparkling effect in the pond's water. Water lilies floated by with lotuses resting on top of them and other forms of vegetations. It was beautiful, but I was still shaken by all the troubles I got into.

I took deep breaths and started gathering my composure. Ok, that's it no more teleporting. That shit is hard to control for now. I shake my head, letting my hair wave around sending droplets of water flying everywhere. Crap, now I have to change the way I look and know where I am.
