Author POV

The little two year old ran across the street as a elderly man tried to chase them, the reason why? A piece of cake, little Sakura had stolen a piece of strawberry cheesecake and was running as fast as her little legs could carry her back to her hideout that she shared with Sasori. Closing in on the leafy house she climbed quickly and hid inside pushing the cake into Sasoris hand as she sighed in relief knowing that the ninja weren't following.

"Sakura.... Why do you do this to yourself?" Sasori mumbled a hint of worry tinged in his tone. She sighed a bit exhausted because of running and she let down her to sit. Sakura payed down next to Sasori.... Wait scratch that she was practically on him eyelids already closing as soft snores were emitted from her frail body. Her breathing was evening out and Sasori stroked her pale pink hair as he layer down against the wooden wall of their shelter.

Sasori was the first to awaken as the moon was sinking and the sun was showing the first ray of dawn. He slowly slid the female of him and stood up wanting to get a few weapons and food, enough to survive at least. He sighed a little and got up stumbling a bit by his small body but walked down to the opening markets plucking fruit here and there while finding worn old blankets in alley ways. He noticed that a blonde kid with whiskers was sitting on the ground as a few adults looked at him with no pity but cold eyes.

Sasori walked over and looked and the teary blonde his face red with frustration and sadness, loneliness and scorn clear in his eyes as he gazed at the Red head before him. He sniffles at stammered out a few words, "w-w-who a-re y-y-you?" He asked and Sasori looked at him, studying him until he spoke.

"My name is Sasori and you?" He looked at the shivering boy as he glanced up with a cheery smile. His pale shirt fluttering as the cold winds seemed to rush in.

"My name..... Is n-Naruto Uzumaki! Believe it!" He held a chubby little peace sign and smiled a big smile leaving Sasori a bit.... Creeped out per say.
Sasori started to walk until he felt a little tug on his black oversized Tee shirt, Naruto had tugged on it with slight alarm as he watched the red head turn to leave so he acted upon instinct. The little boy held hope in his eyes as Sasori stared at him and finally sighed, nodding that the blonde could come.

Over joyed Naruto smiled so wide you would think his face would break but he was just so happy, walking with the calm Sasori who walked with supplies in Hand to see a running Sakura with a brown paper bag filled with a doughy scent, also hearing two calls they ducked into their hideout safely but surely.

"Sakura, are you hurt?" Sasori placed his small hand on her hand as she panted a bit, cheeks flushed red from the biting wind. Naruto still his presence unknown stepped inside and froze as the cold tip of a kunai and a wary Sakura glancing at him.

"Wait... Are you Naruto?" She murmured lowering the knife and stared at the boy in joy. He nodded a bit hesitantly as the pink haired girl hugged him making them tumble in the small space.

"Why are you hiding?" He asked getting up and looking at the two Kids who had a hard glint in their eyes.

"We have no home so we resort to steal to survive.." Sasori mumbled holding Sakura's hand. Naruto pulled their hands and started to drag them.

"Y-you can live with me berielf it!" He smiled and the two toddlers eyes widened and smiles broke onto their face as they got dragged all the way to an Apartment complex.

Naruto instead of using the door like a regular human being he used a small square Cat flap to get in.

Sakura and Sasori sweat-dropped as they watched the antics from the blonde and they started to giggle as Naruto got stuck in the flap.

His little legs kicking in the air as his body was halfway stuck, the two giggling kids both pulled on his legs as he popped out and kinda... Flew?

He flew like, 2 meters away from the door crashing into a tall figure with his brown hair and scar slashed across his nose.

"Naruto! Are you okay?? Nooo Naruto!" The man crouched down to the boys height and anime tears flowed down his cheek until he noticed the little boy was giggling.

"Iruka! Iruka I made friends!" He giggled and hopped out of the mans arms as he stumbled to Sasori which resulted both of them falling down.

Friends huh....

Iruka looked at the 3 toddlers altogether smiling and giggling so he opened the door to Naruto's room and a breeze that smelled mysteriously like ramen greeted them.

"Welcome to your new home!" He exclaimed happily and the two new toddlers smiled holding hands as they walked together to the new place they will be living.

Then all 3 just stopped and fell asleep standing.... =_=
