3....

San wakes up, his body aches a he looks around. He feels his head pounding as he realizes he's in bed. He gives a low groan in irritation as he slowly sits up and runs his hand through his hair. He then thinks back to last night, and cursed at himself for being so dumb. Then he's confused, how did he get into bed? Wasn't he on the bathroom floor? He then slowly gets out of bed, and stretches his back.

He walks into the bathroom, and is surprised to see all his pills that he dropped picked up. He's beyond confused now, and walks into the living room. What he doesn't expect to see is Wooyoung pacing.

"Wooyoung?" San croaks out, and Wooyoung almost immediately turns around, and San sees his face in distress. He hears a quick 'San' before Wooyoung fast walks over to him and develops him into a tight hug. His small frame feels suffocated by Wooyoungs.

"Oh my god thank god your okay- I thought I'd have to call the police- o-or the hospital. Why the hell would you scare me like that." Wooyoung went on and San then clicked. It was Wooyoung who put him to bed and cleaned up his pills. He felt his heart sink.

"Sorry if I scared you." San whispered as Wooyoung let go.

"Jeez- it's fine just- don't do it ever again. How many did you even take?" Wooyoungs voice hitched with worry, and San almost wanted to be shocked. He then thought about how many he took.

"I don't know..like..4?..." San whispered and he heard Wooyoung curse under his breath.

"San, maybe we need to go to a doctor-"

"No." San said sternly as he looked up at Wooyoung.

"What? Why not?" Wooyoungs face showed confusion.

"I'll be okay." San said before walking back into the bedroom.

"San, you took way to many pills! That could've killed you for all I know!" Wooyoung yelled as he followed the irritated male.

"Yea? So what if it did? What would you have done Wooyoung?" San yelled back.

Wooyoung stayed quiet.

"I'm wondering if all I'm here for is my money. Are you pleased that I keep you woke Wooyoung? Are you happy that I spend my money on you and your drugs?" San kept talking.

Wooyoung felt himself shrink under all the pressure, and made eye contact with San. His eyes were filled with pain and fury.

"I won't always be here for you!" San yelled.

Silence overtook them as Wooyoung thought about was San just said. He felt his forehead form with beads of sweat.

"What do you mean by that?...." Wooyoung whispered.

"I mean..." San put a hand over his face as he gave a groan. "This relationship Wooyoung....it's not working." He stated, and Wooyoung looked up at him, shocked by the sudden words.

"I don't even think we can call this a relationship anymore!" San yelled.

"San don't you dare say that! You know damn well how much I love you." Wooyoung yelled as he walked closer to the smaller.

"Do you really love me? Or my money Wooyoung! Maybe even the drugs, just one hit is all it takes for your whole life to turn around." San yelled as he shoved Wooyoung back, a hint of a sob coming in his voice. Wooyoung then noticed the glossy eyes, and his heart twisted in unbearable pain at the sight.

He then went up and held San close as San broke down, San reluctantly gave in and let Wooyoung hold him. Wooyoung didn't know what was happening, as he heard San sobs he couldn't help but feel his world crumble apart. He felt guilty for everything, and San's words struck his heart like knives.

"I won't always be here for you!"

It made him think all night after San fell asleep beside him, exhausted as he'd been sobbing for awhile. He didn't know what to think of it all.

He wanted San to be happy. He wanted him to know how much he loved him and how much he wanted to cherish him, but in the end he couldn't. He was scared of hurting him instead, scared of the words that could come out, or the action. His worse nightmare would be ever to hit San, he could never forgive himself after that. It gave him shivers at the thought.

He looks down at the peaceful, yet glossy face, that slept soundly beside him. He ran his hand through his soft hair, and caressed his smooth skin. His heart felt guilty, and was pleading for just a way out. A hit, a drink, anything that could get his mind off this.

But then, as he looked down at San, he shook the temptations away. He instead turned off the lights, and pulled San closer as he wrapped his arms around him. He pulled him close, and tight, as if never wanting to let go. He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he exhaled.

One hit is all it takes to forget.

One kiss is all it takes to love.

One cry is all it takes to let go.

One night is all it takes to forgive.
