School was going by very quickly. The bell rang and I finished what I was writing. I gathered up my things and waited for Alya, Nino, and Marinette to get ready to leave class.

Once we were all packed up, we walked to the store to get costumes. I wasn't sure what I wanted to be. Then I got a text from Chloé. Wait. How did she get my number?

(A=Adrien C=Chloé)

C: I am choosing who you and your friends are going as.

A: Why?

C: I feel like it!

A: Okay

C: Alya will be a fox

A: Okay

C: Nino will be a turtle

A: Okay

C: I will be a bee

A: Okay

C: Marinette will be...

A: What?

C: You will be Chat Noir

A: Okay

C: Marinette will be...

A: What?

C: You choose

A: Um...

C: Ladybug?

A: Okay

C: It's settled! See you at the party!

A: Okay

I turned off my phone and started to internally freak out. Chloé wanted me to go as Chat Noir. I am Chat Noir! How is that supposed to work? I decided to tell everyone what or who they were gonna be.

"So, Alya is gonna be a fox. Nino is gonna be a turtle. I'm gonna be Chat Noir and Marinette is gonna be Ladybug.

"Okay..." The three said in unison. None of them questioned me. Except Marinette.

"W-why can't we ch-choose our own c-costumes?" Marinette asked stuttering. I wasn't sure why she always stuttered around me. Was she still mad at me? Was she scared of me? Did she not like me?

"Chloé decided on it. Knowing her, she probably won't let you guys wear anything other than what she wants, unless you aren't coming to the party. I'm guessing that's how it is with everyone," I replied.

"Oh," Marinette said.

"Well, what are we waiting for, dudes?" Nino asked. "Let's go get our costumes."

"That's a great idea, Nino. Us two will go to the animal section and Adrienette... I mean Adrien and Marinette will go to the superhero section," Alya explained.

"Okay, come on Marinette. Let's go get are costumes," I said beckoning her to follow. She did.

"S-so. You're gonna be Ch-Chat Noir?" Marinette asked. I decided that I should give her a nickname. Mari? Yeah, Mari. I like that.

"Yeah... So, Mari, you're gonna go through with being Ladybug?" I asked.

"Uh... Y-yeah. Since you're going as Chat Noir, I should go as Ladybug. I think they're pretty awesome. I mean, not as awesome of you of course because you're the awesomest of all awesomeness," Marinette explained. I became confused. She thought I was awesome? I guess that's a good thing. She isn't scared of me and she isn't mad at me. That's a relief.

I put my hand on Marinette's shoulder. Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink. It was probably from embarrassment of just rambling on and changing the subject from Ladybug and Chat Noir to me. "Let's go get our costumes," I said.

"O-okay," she replied. We walked to the superhero section of the costumes. I started looking for Ladybug and Chat Noir costumes...

Flash... Superman... Wonder Woman... Batman... Batgirl... Green Lantern... Supergirl... Ah ha! Ladybug!... Chat Noir!

I found the costumes next to each other. I looked through the sizes of the Chat Noir costumes and frowned. They didn't have my size.

"Aw! They don't have my size!" I complained. Marinette looked through the Ladybug costumes and grabbed her size. She then turned her attention to finding me a costume. She went all the way to back and got it out. She held it up and sure enough, it was my size.

"Th-there you go," Marinette said as she handed me the costume.

We met up with DJWiFi - I mean Alya and Nino and showed them our costumes.

"They're perfect!" Alya squealed.

"They are pretty cool," Nino said.

"These are our costumes. What do you think?" Alya asked. I looked at the fox costume and the turtle costume. They were both pretty nice. I was about to answer, but Marinette beat me to it.

"They're great, Alya!" she complemented.

"Yeah, they are," I agreed.

We paid for the costumes and went back to the school. We just kept the costumes in our bags, so we didn't have to worry about bringing them home and then being late to school.

We walked into the science classroom and sat in our normal seats. Mrs. Mendeleev explained that we were doing a science project and that it was due next Friday. She told us she was doing groups of 3.

"The following groups will be working together," she announced. She started reading off the list:

Chloé, Nathanaël, and Kim

Juleka, Alix, and Sabrina

Myléne, Rose, and Max

Ivan, Nino, and Alya

Lastly, but unfairly, was just Marinette and I. We only had two people in our group. It would have made more sense to just have two groups of four, but Mrs. Mendeleev doesn't care about fairness.

The project was to make a model of the inside of the Earth. So that meant all of the layers of the Earth. We learned this in eighth grade. I thought. Oh, well.

The bell rang and the rest of the school day went by fairly quickly. I packed up all my things and went outside to wait for my ride. Marinette came running up to me.

"When do y-you want to work on the p-project?" she asked, panting for breath.

"I'm free tomorrow. Would that be okay?" I asked. Then the limo showed up. I waved and got in. Before I shut the door, I heard Marinette shout to me.

"That's f-fine!" she yelled.

"Okay!" I shouted back and shut the door. We made it back to the Agreste Mansion and I went up to my room.

I decided that I wanted to go out for a bit. I transformed and heard my staff ring. I picked it up and frowned at who it was. Chloé.

(CN=Chat Noir C=Chloé)

CN: Hello?

C: Hi. This is Chloé Bougerois. You know, the mayor's daughter?

CN: Yeah, continue.

C: I heard that you don't have anything going on.

CN: No... Why?

C: My father wants you to come to my party and he isn't taking no for an answer. Neither am I.

CN: Um... Okay... That's... That's fine...

That's not fine at all!

C: Good! You will come as yourself.

CN: Alright, sounds good.

This is very, very bad!

C: Okay! See you there! Bye bye!

CN: Bye...

"Well, this isn't good," I muttered to myself. I couldn't go as both Adrien and Chat Noir! I had no idea as to how I would manage to be at the party as both Chat Noir and Adrien.
