Unless you can finally show me

Third POV

Silence crept the the castle as Pidge sat up on her bed. It was night or at least what ever time it was when they slept. She couldn't sleep, her mind pondered. At least it was something she was use to. Many things ran through, her family, the prison in Sendak's ship, Lance. It kept her awake most nights, but tonight she couldn't even try to get it out of her mind.

Now that she thinks about it, he never really told her what happened. That night, did something bad happen? I mean he did look a little distraught whenever she brought it up so that must mean something happened between them. All she knew is she had to find out.

It would be assumed that no one would be awake at this time, but she knew someone who always was. Since he likes his midnight training because no one can bother him. It was perfect since Keith is the only person that would be honest with her 100% of the time. Ok at least 98%.

She made her way down the hall heading towards the training deck. She entered the room and Keith was in the center of it just staring at his blade. Odd.

"Hey Keith!" She waved over to him. He was shocked of course just not as much as she would've thought. He jolted up accidentally dropping his sword in the process.

"Wow. Would've never expected that." She was surprised, like jaw dropped surprise. No one could scare Keith and she just did it by accident. Oh how she wished she bought a camera or something.

"What do you want?" He said sounding it a tad bit aggravated. Picking up his blade he made his way to the short girl.

"Information."

"Your like the smartest person here and you need information." He crossed his arms raising an eyebrow. Pidge only had her hands on her hips staring up at Keith, her expression didn't change at all. "Ok what do you need." He finally let out.

"What happened that night?"

"What night?"

"Last night. What other night would I be talking about?!"

"I don't know! There are many nights!"

"Shhh! Keep it down." She shushed him.

"You started yelling first." He whispered.

"I had a reason to." Her voice raised a little higher.

"Yeah what is it."

"Your stupidity." He rolled his eyes ignoring her comment.

"What about the night?" He asked. That's when she went silent, she stopped smirking.

"What happened between me and Lance?" It was his turn to say nothing. "Listen, Keith I know it's bad and once you tell me I'm probably going to hate him, but I need to know."

"Why? You'd be happier not knowing."

"Not knowing is worse. Plus now your scaring me."

"What does Lance think?"

"This is about me. I want to know not Lance."

"I don't know Pidge."

"Keith your going to tell me now or I will cut you mullet in the middle of the night whenever you sleep!"

"Ok jeez, you little demon." He put his hands up trying to deafening himself. "You really want to know?"

"Yes."

"Don't hate me after and don't kill Lance." He paused. "Well don't kill him yet."

"We'll see about that."

"Ok. I don't know the full details, but last night you came to the party with Allura. Naturally all eyes went on her, but once Lance caught a glimpse of you he couldn't restrain himself. No joke, me and Hunk had to hold him back before he ran up and kiss you." Pidge was laughing, did Lance really think she looked that great? "Once you came down the stairs he slipped between Hunk and my fingers and he actually did run to you. He exchanged some words with you and at first we thought nothing of it until you started yelling at him. You said you hated him and never wanted to see him again. I can't say for certain what he said to you, but if you started crying because of it we just assumed it was something hurtful or flirty. That's when I can say the rest of us messed up. Bad. Not really knowing Allura assumed that you just lashed out on Lance. So she told us to comfort him while she went to go fetch you. I don't know what she said to you, but when you came back you apologized to Lance and that seemed to be the end of it. But again you were in tears and this time you left the castle. A couple hours after and you came back. You randomly decided to go training and after that I don't know. I guess after that you woke up today?" He completed. She was in complete shock. Who wouldn't be if they just heard all of that. Then it clicked, she remembered the little details that Keith wasn't there for. Why she got mad at Lance, what she said to her lion, her conversation with Allura, she remembered it all right there as if Keith was a lock that just unlocked the memories from the previous. It all made sense now.

"Oh." That's really all that could come out of her mouth at the moment. "Thanks Keith, I'll go now." She didn't really want to look at Keith. She wasn't going to cry, she was tired of it honestly.

She just wandered the halls as if on auto pilot, she couldn't fall asleep and she couldn't talk to anyone about it except the two other people who knew what happened during the one on one interactions. She wasn't doing that anytime soon, she was screwed. One question that kept popping its way back in her mind no matter how hard she tried to forget was. Would she stay oblivious to Lance or would she let him now?

Third POV

He couldn't fall asleep. He wanted to know so bad what it was that rest wasn't important to him, though he'd hear a lecture about it from Shiro and Allura the next day. He tried fitting names for her and surprisingly narrowed it down to 5.
Katherine. Taylor. Aidan. Charlotte. Nicole.

Maybe if he asked her she'd tell him? She wasn't mad at him anymore so maybe this was his chance. He bursted out of bed, he knew she would be up. But maybe he should wait until tomorrow? He paused at the door.  He sighed and headed his way back to the bed. When randomly the door slid opened.

"Lance. We need to talk."

"What is it Mullet?" His tone sounded so uninterested, honestly when the door slid he kinda hoped it was Pidge.

"Pidge."

"What about her?"

"You can't keep doing this. Hurting her feelings."

"I'm not hurting her feelings."

"Then how do explain why she never wanted to see you again or sometimes when she cried once she saw you."

"I don't know! Why don't you go ask her!"

"I did." Lance froze, he never would suspected him to do it. "And I told her about the night." That's when he lost it.

"What! Why would you do that! I almost had a chance of becoming her friend again."

"Because she asked. And frankly I think it was best, she deserved to know what you did."

"Just go Keith."

"Also it's worse since you didn't even tell her yourself!"

"Shut up." Lance mumbled.

"What was that?" He put his hand on his ear.

"Shut up!" Lance pushed Keith, only to get pushed back.

"You can't just keep hurting her Lance!" Keith kicked Lance in his side.

"Your the one to talk. You just kicked me!"
Lance punched Keith in his stomach causing him to stumble backwards.

"Just say sorry to her then leave her alone to think."

"If you care so much why don't you date her!"

"She likes you and you like her. Plus I already had my eye on someone." Lance paused, he stopped hitting Keith.

"You like someone?"

"Yes?" Keith tilted his head in a confused way.

"Wow."

"Is it so unbelievable?"

"Kind of."

"Listen were not here to talk about me."

"It's Allura isn't it?" Lance questioned. Keith turned away signaling Lance that that was a yes.

"Can you two shut up!" The door slid open and in it was a very angry green demon. Before Lance even knew it Keith slipped away. Lucky.

"Hey Pidge." Lance said nervously. Something bad was going to happen, he felt it.

"Lance." She crossed her arms.

"Listen I'm sorry about the noise."

"I'll live, but if Allura wakes up cranky it's all you two."

"Got it." He said. Pidge turned around and started heading out.

"Actually, um I have a question for you."

"What is it?" She reverted.

"What's your real name?" Her face froze when he asked her. She doesn't really want any of the paladins knowing her name, but at the same time Shiro knew and it was just a matter of time. She absolutely hated her name, it reminded her of her past. Her mom, dad, Matt, and all the bullies at her old school. So she just stood there staring at Lance as if she saw a ghost.

This was going to be a long night.

A/N:
Took about a year just to update. Sorry about that. The date that this was supposed to update was Friday, but I didn't have time during the week since school got hectic. It's hard being in 8th grade to be honest. Next chapter is going to have A LOT of Plance, I'll make sure of it. Bye~
