Because beauty

Third POV

"So everyone is here?" Shiro looked around the room to double check.

"So you guys felt that too?" Lance asked.

"The lions were talking to you? What did they say?" Allura questioned.

"Well it wasn't very specific, but they said something is wrong with Pidge." Shiro answered.

"I don't understand, wasn't she doing so well these past days?"

"I thought so as well, but how were the lions able to know what's wrong with her?"

"It happened with my father as well. His lion could sense something wrong with him and he'd tell the other lions who would tell their paladins."

"So it's like Green couldn't help Pidge so she's calling for help?" Hunk, the yellow paladin, said.

"Exactly, but we can't do anything unless we know what's happening exactly. Does anyone know?" They all turned to Lance.

"What?" He was clearly dumbfounded.

"You and Pidge are close, are you not?"

"Yes, but she lies to me as well. I could tell, because today she said she's on her period and I've lived with sisters long enough to know that periods are scary, but Pidge just looked hurt."

"Period?"

"Long story, not the time, but I don't know what's wrong with her and I'm getting worried."

"Do you think it finally hit her?" Mullet asked.

"She's hurt?!" Coran exclaimed.

"No I mean, do you think she finally realized. Like everything thats happened to her these last months. Think about it, she got kidnapped and tortured, watched both her father and brother die in front of her, then when she got back she wasn't in the best state of mind, I mean who wouldn't be." Keith was crossed armed, leaning on the wall. He was making some good statements.

"So what does that mean?" Hunk questioned panicking.

"It means she's been bottling up her feelings by smiling and acting happy these past days, and only Green realized." Shiro stepped in.

"I feel terrible." Lance gasped.

"She's connected to green that's the reason why."

"I'm basically her boyfriend, how could I not see that she was hurting?"

"Don't beat yourself over it, Lance."

"I'm going to go check on her." Lance rushed to the exit but was stopped by Shiro in the process.

"I don't think that's best at the moment. We don't know how she's feeling and we should wait and observe first before making any actions."

"Oh-ok." He croaked, how could he not see it before?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She had fell asleep, crying, laying in Green's cockpit. She was mumbling, tossing, turning. It was awhile before she was up, panicked, sweating, hyperventilating. A nightmare, most likely. Green purred.
"Yes I'm fine, just a nightmare." Pidge said out of breath as if she was running a marathon.
"No I will not tell them." She hissed, most likely Green was trying to get Pidge to tell the others of her emotions, but Pidge did not want to trouble the other paladins with her "silly" feelings. Even though they were no where silly and very important. "It's like I said before my feelings are unimportant in this war. Actually what I should be doing is training. I slept for about....." She pressed a few buttons on her dashboard. "30 minutes. Yeah I should do some training." She got up and made her way out of the hangar only to be stopped by a pestering Hunk.
"Oh I Pidge! I just wanted to say uh no um." He kept on rambling. Pidge only raised an eyebrow. "TRAINING! That's it. We're doing some team bonding thing right now, I was sent to get you."
"That makes sense." The small girl followed Hunk. They made it to the training deck in a matter of dobashes? Ticks? Forget it, in a matter of minutes.
"Ah, there they are!" Coran called out.
"Ok, since everyone is here, what kind of bonding activity did you have in mind?" Shiro stood up from his oddly placed chair.
"This machine lets us go into whoever sits in it's mind."
"Ok?" Acting, this was all acting just to see what's wrong with Pidge's mind and so far it's working.
"Alrighty then, who's first?" Coran looked around the room. "Ah number 5!" Pidge was looking down the whole time and wasn't exactly paying attention, but when Coran called her she got startled. "Would you like to go first?" Pidge shrugged and sat down on the machine's chair.
"This only lets you see my memories and some emotions, correct?" Pidge was a little nervous.
"That is correct!"
"Ok then, how does it work?" Pidge would be lying if she didn't say she was fascinated with the machine itself.
"As soon as it starts and we put that helmet thing on you, you'll fall to sleep. We'll be seeing your memories on this screen, but here's another thing. You'll also be reliving the memories as well, so think of it as a dream!" Ok now Pidge was scared, how far back of memories will they go? And if they saw that period in time, could she relive that all over again?
"Ok." She has to push her feelings aside, this is for the team.
Coran placed the helmet on her head and pressed a few buttons and she was in a deep sleep.
