Will's POV

I quietly went in the plain white hospital room and saw you. You were unconscious on the bed, your pale face looked almost ghostly white. You still looked beautiful with all those bruises and you still managed to take my breath away when I looked at you.

This was all because of me, if only I knew what was happening to you. I slowly knelt down in front of your bed and held your cold hand weakly. I was afraid if I was hurting you more, but I didn't know if I was capable of hurting you more because I already did.

"Please . . . Boo, wake up. Your Will is here," I said in a shaky voice and brushed your soft, black hair.

"I'm here for real. It was not me who died, there was a wrong report by the department. In all that chaos, those idiots made a mistake. I'm alive . . . It's Jeff who passed away," I whispered and swallowed a lump formed in my throat.

I vaguely remembered Jeff's last words muffled amidst all the explosion noises. Jeff and I were the best pals during the war, always sticking to each other and saving each other's ass.

"Will, you're one hell of a lucky bastard to make it through. Marry that girl you're always blabbering about and make your life count. Remember me and you know, you can always name your child after me . . . " Jeff choked and laughed till his last breath.

I smiled ruefully and looked at you. Tears welled up in my eyes and I begged in a low voice, "Boo, I'm here . . . Wake up, everything will be alright now. You don't need to be afraid anymore. I submitted the evidence to the higher officers and Justin is now under arrest. I punched him and wanted to hit him more for hurting you, but I was pulled away . . . I'm here now, I'll not let anything happen to you. I promise you're safe with me. Just come back to me, Boo . . . Please come back . . . " 

Suddenly, your fragile body started shaking. I quickly got up and the nurses and doctors barged in. What was happening to you? I didn't want to leave you, but the security guards came in and shoved me outside.
